This home has all the amenities to make your stay a comfortable one. Its character stems from being built in the 1920s with the original staircase and wood in place. You will be able to enjoy a meal with the family in the spacious living room and dining room or outside in the yard. In the evenings spend time in the back yard socializing on the comfortable outdoor seating. The proximity to downtown Oak bluff allows you to walk and get a nice cup of coffee from Mocha Motts and be back before the rest of the family awakens. On Bus line #13 and #9.

Great location! This property is a short walk to downtown or a quick drive. Centrally located it’s easy to get to other towns on the Island. The house was very clean and the host was very responsive when I had questions. I would recommend this property to anyone I knew going to Oak Bluffs.

The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. I really loved the aesthetic of the house, it was true to its original details while updated for today's conveniences. The yard was very nice, and the location was great. The street in front was busy, but it was an easy walk to the center of Oak Bluffs with all the shops and dining. I would definitely stay again.

Better than advertised. This is a charming home, beautifully appointed with all amenities provided. Our hosts are helpful and responsive. Easy walk to downtown Oak Bluffs and shuttle stop. Definitely recommend.

This is our third time staying at Hacienda Maya and each time is better than the last! The house has everything you need from beach chairs, to beach towels to fast WiFi and strong AC for those hot August days. John and Chimene are great hosts and always willing to help out if needed, but not proactively seeking engagement.

So lovely with a great location

We love the house. The kids could take off when they wanted to walk down to Oak Bluffs. The house is near everything and despite being so close to town, it felt very private. We were happy that we could bring our little dog since he’s very old and that the property was fenced off so that the escape artist that he is couldn’t sneak out. The management was responsive anytime I had a question. We will definitely come back.

Amazing getaway!!

Gorgeous house in a location that can’t be beat! Hosts were super nice and responded quick to any question. It was our 13th year vacationing on MV and we all agreed this year was the best!

To be clear, the house is beautiful. We love the location. We arrived on Friday night after booking it back in March from Boston. The Internet didn’t work. We were unable to get into the house. We really had no service the entire weekend. The water continued to run, outdoor shower wasn’t working, outdoor hose was not hooked up, the toilet would not flash, but my husband and I were able to fix and get thru the weekend. We reached out countless times to the owners to help them and offered to buy a plunger, and fix the chain of both toilets, but they did not respond. There was one response that we received telling us. Someone would be coming to help us fix the AC and plumbing issues but no one ever showed up. We spent a fortune this weekend; we proactively booked it and it was completely off-season. We left the house in great shape. We did laundry wash the towels, the beds and offered to help countless times the owners never responded to us. I’m so disappointed.

Charming home with character and great location

Meticulously maintained home in a great location for walks and bike rides. Great kitchen if you enjoy cooking! All needs anticipated and provided for. The Owners were terrific to work with and made us feel very welcome. Definitely heading back next year!

December get away in Oak Bluffs 2024

Very charming house, extremly clean with great kitchen to cook in. Enjoyed having dinner around the big dining room table which flowed into the living room. The heat at first was a little finicky to set but once we were familiar with the remotes it was a breeze. The WiFi cut out a couple of times on the first day but was fine after. Looking foward to a return trip.

Family time

My husband and I spent a week on the vineyard with some family. We absolutely loved this cottage! It was so cozy and warm. We immediately felt at home. The location was perfect. Walking distance to Oak Bluffs and minutes away from the beach. We would definitely stay here if we come back to the island!

Great location. House a tad tired

Central location. Great home I would imagine for families, especially those who appreciate a well-stocked kitchen. My friends and I were visiting the island to golf and wine & dine. We would have appreciated mirrors in the bedrooms (and tissues) and well-lit bathrooms. Otherwise, a nice to stay.

It lived up to expectations. So many added amenities. Plenty of china and glassware. Great, well working appliances. Informative magazines which were helpful. We fully enjoyed our time together at this charming house!

Great Vineyard house.

The house is large enough for 10, if 2 are in twin beds. The front porch and backyard are perfect for meals, drinks or just enjoying the weather. The backyard is great for grilling and gathering. We used pretty much every square inch of the in and outside.

1928 Beauty

My family of five plus first infant grandson had a wonderful time. My husband and I came to Martha’s Vineyard the first time 43 years ago on our honeymoon and have visited the island every year since. This was our first stay at this beautiful place. There was plenty of room, a spacious kitchen, lots of hot water, air conditioning and a wonderful front porch. It was a great vacation spot!!

Wonderful wedding weekend!

We were on the Vineyard to attend the wedding of the daughter of close friends of ours'. We had a wonderful time, enhanced by staying at this great property! The host was readily accessible and was immediately responsive to a few needs that came up. The location was great; and, despite being on a main road, was very private. It was noisy though! The house was well-equipped and very comfortable. We would stay there again! Thank you!

Perfect rental house…!

We were six in total… 2 kids, 2 parents and 2 grandparents. Five large immaculate bedrooms. Plenty of living space and excellent location. Everything you could possibly want is there. A+++

Perfect Family Vacation!

Chimene's property was absolutely perfect in every way. From the fenced in yard, to the location of the home and everything in-between. It fit our family perfectly. It is a short distance walk to downtown. We even walked to the ginger bread houses, as well as the park for the kids. The fenced in yard was perfect for our kids and dogs to play in. Communication with Chimene was very easy and John was on site and so nice. He took extra time in making sure the outside yard was ready for us. We will definitely be back!! It made our MDW perfect!

Amazing location and clean, spacious, and thoughtful home

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The house is in an incredible location - only about a 5-10 minute walk from the main street in Oak Bluffs. The home was fully stocked with all kitchenware and appliances you could ever need as well as some coffee, snacks and other cooking ingredients. The fenced in yard was perfect for our little 9 lb pup. Very comfortable beds and couch. Highly recommend!
