Great location

This was our second stay at the Sandestin. We very much enjoyed the location of this condo to the pool and the village. Only real disappointment was the lack of beach towels and beach toys. In the past when we have stayed at condos there are towels and toys so this was a surprise to us.

Perfect place to stay for beach vacation

The Baytowne Wharf area was such a great place to stay. The tram to the beach was perfect for jumping on in the morning and going to the beach. Not having to worry with parking, etc...made things a little easier. We loved walking around the shopping/restaurant area in the evening. Lots of beautiful trees and scenery. The walk on the pier was also relaxing to enjoy the bay and the beautiful boats at the marina. Would highly recommend if you have young children because there is so much to do for them. My kids are grown and I wish I would have known about this place when they were younger. Perfect family vacation here. Just lovely!

Daughters wedding San Destin

Outstanding room, location close to all activities. Room is clean and communication with host was outstanding! Check faucets and other items as part of cleanup, ie shower handle in room 434 loose. Remote flr fan in 432 not available or needed batteries. Minor suggestions or comments but we will be back. Thankyou

Wonderful Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time booking through Gibson. I would encourage anyone to book with them. The condo was exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable, you could use both showers at the same time without issue, there were separate air units for both areas and the bedrooms and common are all had good sized tv's. The complex was very quiet, clean, and well maintained. The staff were extremely nice, as well as helpful and responded within minutes to any questions we had.

Nice condo - worked well with 4 adults and 3 children.Big problem when elevators were out of service for more than 24 hours. Grandparents with bad knees and strollers and 3 children under 6 meant we were stuck inside for toooo long.

My family has reserved multiple condos in the Sandestin Baytowne Wharf area through the years. This is our first time staying in the MSI building. This particular unit was less to be desired. In my opinion, the property owner does the bare minimum to make the unit rentable.The kitchen appliances were very outdated (all white & really old), We ran the dishwasher and it was so loud, we had to close the bedroom doors to fall asleep. The refrigerator size was very short and too small to really accommodate four days of food my husband, I and our young adult. The A/C units were very loud as well. The furniture inside as well as on the patio was mediocre and not very relaxing. The master bathroom toilet was not very sturdy when you sat down and had two mismatch floor mats/ rugs that did not look clean. They looked like they were purchased from a flee market. The shower curtain had some tears and the bottom edge had red hard water stains. Should really be replaced. Not to mention loose shower knobs in the adjacent unit. We REALLY like access to the nice big private pool that is exclusive to certain buildings adjacent to the MSI. We booked this unit for a last minute trip for my husband’s birthday. There maybe better units in this building to rent. We would not recommend or return to this particular unit for the price we paid.

Codes

It was so convenient in location. We had some difficulties accessing the Baytowne Wharf entrance door. Our code did not work. We would have preferred a swipe card for that entrance instead of a code. Parking access was great It was very well stocked in the kitchen and had all we needed. We didn’t understand from the property description that it was actually two one bedroom units that adjoins to make it a 2 BR/2BA.
