This is a upper 3 room studio Bed & Breakfast; Come stay in beautifully renovated 2 story home with beautiful gardens, fenced yard; relax on the sprawling covered porch or outdoor patios. Warm up in yard firepit. Farmhouse style interiors use original wood from the 1800s to compliment the style. All linens, dinnerware and gas grill included. Fenced yard, fire pit with wood and off street parking included as well as all utilities, cable and internet/wi fi . All inc. with any studio or whole house booking. Private. Great neighborhood close to beach, shopping and farmers market. Dogs welcome with additional fee. Kayaks on site. ($25. ea. per STAY) **Please note: This is a Studio, 3 room Bed & Breakfast with 1-2 dogs. Entire house is only available as a monthly or 3+ day rental. see Sweet Blu's for house availability. (7347405352). Pricing is for studio only.. Studio includes one bedroom, full bath, and sitting room/bedroom with kitchenette, tv and futon. Sleeps 4, and includes custom breakfast on Sat and Sunday mornings with weekend rental.. Lots of yard space to play games. Awesome location and a perfect amount of space for one or two people. Martha was a great host and we enjoyed the amenities offered. Not the best fit if you dislike dogs or want a private, separate entrance.

The property is beautiful. The home is well kept, the landscaping is wonderful. We stayed in the upper studio and it was furnished with a kitchenette with everything clean and working. Check in was flawless, our host met us upon check in, showed us to the upper studio and told us to let her know if we needed anything. We did not because everything was furnished and so inviting. This place is a diamond.

Immaculate, clean, spotless, well-appointed, comfortable, close to beach, right in town, amenities as described, delicious breakfast with host Saturday morning, easy access, perfect communication with host, zero confusion, wanted for nothing. Zero problems. Very pleasant stay. A wonderful spot to lodge and explore the area.

We were in Port Austin for a wedding this weekend. Martha was a wonderful hostess, very kind and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a couple to stay also not bad with another couple that doesn’t mind a futon!! Two dogs, Blu and Scoobie bark a lot but are very friendly and super cute. Within walking distance to the farmer’s market, beach and bars/restraunts. Great location.

Gracious host

Our stay was not for leisure (traveling for work) so our schedule did not allow us to take advantage of what I’m sure would have been wonderful breakfasts. Everything was as expected from the listing. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway.

A little vacation

A nice place to stay, private but not isolated. We had the whole upstairs for us, private bathroom, bedroom and a living area with a kitchenette. The host is friendly and helpful. Everything was nice!

Caveat Emptor !!!

If you are considering renting this unit, I suggest you ask the owner to send you pictures of the inside of the “shower” before committing. In addition, I would also suggest you ask for exact dimensions of the shower stall, width and depth. Also, the height of the “ceiling” from the highest point and lowest point. The shower is built into the underside of the roof. That is, the bottom of the roof is the ceiling of the shower. As the roof slopes down, so does the ceiling in the shower. I estimate the highest point of the ceiling is 5’ 11” and slopes down to 4’ at the lowest point of the ceiling. At the point where you step into the shower I estimate the ceiling height to be 5’9”. If you’re taller than 5’ 9” you will have to bend over to shower. However, it should be noted that the owner does graciously provide a little brown plastic stool to sit on if you prefer sitting while you shower. Failure to speak to or post photos of the shower is a willful and egregious “misrepresentation by omission” ! The owner does not want you to see this shower! The owner charges a premium rental rate for this unit and the unit itself is unremarkable and mediocre at best. If lack of transparency, paying a premium rental rate for a mediocre unit and sitting down to take a shower are not a problem for you, then perhaps you’ll be happy there.

I purchased the property in 2020 and spent 1 year renovating and updating it into a Bed and Breakfast so that I can share it with others. As a professional in the design industry, I also work and live in the home as your host. If you visit us frequently, you will find I am always changing the layout and interiors. It is furnished with mostly new furnishings or repurposed local pieces. It is a casual, yet beautiful home, with everything you need to relax and just have fun. I have provided the studio with games, an internet provided TV and room air conditioner with ceiling fans for your comfort and enjoyment. I am working on providing outdoor activities such as horseshoes and cornhole. I love the water and you will find me on my kayak or lounging in the sand when I am not working. I also have 2 dogs, Blu and Scoobie. They are fairly friendly, and Blu loves to play fetch. They are not allowed outside the fenced backyard or in the studio.
I enjoy gardening, so you may see lots of flowers here and inside, depending on time of year. I also enjoy music, and will most likely have Alexa playing something fun.

My property is ideally located!! We are a stone throws from the famous farmers market, and a few steps away from Veteran's Park in beautiful downtown Pt. Austin. You can walk to the beach, or drive, as there are many beautiful private beaches near me. There are also many events through out the year here. Check the Chamber of Commerce page for a complete list. Fall and winter rates are affordable and the area offers many things to do in the thumb.
