Fun For All! Key Largo 3/3 Townhome Oceanside Resort

Located in the Heart of Key Largo MM 100 our 3 bedroom / 3 bath townhome is located in a gated community (Kawama Yacht Club)with 24 hr security. Kawama is a 24 acre complex surrounded by 3 sides by John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Known for some of the best Scuba diving, and snorkeling in all the keys.

The property amenities include 2 heated swimming pools a one of a kind saltwater lagoon with a small sandy beach, private onsite marina with a boat ramp, boat trailer parking, playground, outdoor bbq areas, and pickleball/tennis courts.

Our 3 bedroom 3 bathroom townhouse with 2 living rooms gives plenty of space for guest to spread out and relax after a long day in the sun. First floor has a full bathroom with shower, bedroom with a queen bed and a living room with sleeper sofa and 55 inch smart TV. The second floor has another full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen with Stainless Steel appliances and wine cooler a 70 inch Samsung smart TV in the living room with 2 outdoor balconies with seating, to enjoy a cocktail or cup of coffee. This unit is directly in front of the playground and only steps away from the pool. The third floor offers another full bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The master suite with a queen bed and TV and the second room has 2 twin beds. Plenty of closet space in both bedrooms.

2 Beach Cruiser Bicycles and 2 kayaks with life vest and paddles available to guests.

The property gives guest ocean access via a deep water channel to some of the best fishing, snorkeling, diving and sandbars in the area.
Guest can fish, kayak or snorkel the Ocean via our rock jetty.

Plenty of great restaurants in the area including Backyard Key Largo Fisheries and Pilot House within walking distance. Come swim with the Dolphins at Dolphins Plus which is also walking distance from Kawama.

The host was very nice and the house was lovely. However the golf cart lights did not work no big deal. My only problem with the stay was one of the local family’s treated us very unkind The man was bald and about 60 I would say and his wife was tall. I took my two year old for a swim and she got some water in her mouth and was coughed. As I turned my child around in my arms to make sure she was ok and hand her to her father the family said “get that thing out of the pool before she throws up and they shut the pool down for two weeks. I replied I am handing her to her dad and wanted to make sure she was ok. The woman then argued with me more about how she owns a home there and called me a bi***

We didn’t get to spend a lot of time in the pool area. It was a little small but not busy at all. The picnic/grill space next to the pool was awesome. The lagoon was really nice as well. I would 100% return to this property!

Torture chamber beds

Hot tub listed on amenities but doesn't exist.Small downstairs bedroom with a wooden frame to ensure you will smash your shins trying to squeeze in and out of that room's squeaky uncomfortable bed.. Ancient sofa bed to ensure a backache, if you dare sleep on it. Garbage was supposed to be gathered and put in dumpsters far away from unit. No we didn't do it. Pretty good access to the pool but it was overcrowded with people and kids. Hard to find chairs. No hair dryer.

Spacious stay with great location

Plenty of room for my family. Loved the setting, hanging out on the multiple porches, walking on the jetty, and my son loved the lagoon. Just a few minutes to the state park as well as other attractions. Owner was responsive with a couple of questions. Highly recommend

Excellent place. We didn’t really use the amenities but the location is awesome. We walked the marina and point and it was great place to relax. Gate security was very nice and helpful. Overall the only thing that didn’t work was the garage disposal. Everything else couldn’t really have been better in my opinion.

Great place to stay

Richard was a great host. The townhouse was clean and ready for us. He messaged me 2 days prior to my trip with the check in process. He touched base with me the day of the trip to make sure we were settled. On day 2, we had an issue with the downstairs AC. I messaged him and responded within minutes and he had someone out by that afternoon to correct the issue. We had zero issues after that. He messaged me a couple days before our departure with instructions on what to do before we left. It was a great experience. I would definitely rent from Richard again, his communication was awesome!

My wife and I have grown up visiting Key Largo and I have been coming down to Kawama since 1989. We live in Miami and visit every weekend. We own the unit next door for 10 years where we have raised our kids in the Salt life. We are avid boaters enjoying fishing, diving, snorkeling lobstering and visiting sandbars from Key largo to Key West and the Bahamas.

Kawama is located in the heart of Key Largo MM100 on the Oceanside of the keys. Our private Marina Molasses Reef is one of the few deep water channels drafting 6 feet on low tide. We are minutes to Rodriquez Key, Mosquito Bank and Molasses Reef known for some of the most prestige reefs in all these keys.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Guarded 24 hour security making our community safe. We love Kawama since it gives our kids a life of freedom to enjoy the outdoors. Our saltwater lagoon gives guest a great experience to swim snorkel and kayak without needing a boat. The lagoon is filled with tropical fish which you can feed or snorkel with. We even have some tarpon you can feed. We come to relax and spend quality family time together.
