Excellent place

This property is a great option for couples. The privacy of the hilltop and the pool are very desirable. The home is very comfortable and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Our Expectations

The condo was a treat. Everything is very new and well maintained. The finishes were lovely. The kitchen is very small, but we made good use of it! There are amazing day and night views. And, the pool is wonderful!!!!!

Great view but isolated

The place was amazing. My only complaint is that the internet was awful!! There isn't a real market for food if you want to cook. I also had difficulty at times getting a taxi.

Stunning view with some caveats

This is an absolutely wonderful property with 2 levels of deck, a very nice pool and a to-die for view. It includes a very comfortable master bed, 2 spacious full baths and a small kitchen. However, this rental property is situated next to another, larger unit (with whom you share the pool) that has large outdoor living spaces and your experience depends to a great extent on whether (and if) someone is staying in that adjacent unit. We found that their fairly noisy lifestyle impacted the peace and quiet of our stay.

Stunning Sea Views

The property is a spacious modern build set high on the hill side maximizing the sea views and the breeze. The bedroom has a lovely en-suite with a dressing area and a fabulous wraparound balcony which we used to enjoy our morning coffee every day! It was for sure the best way to start every day watching the dawn break and hearing the birds singing! You enter into the lounge which has sliding doors onto a lovely big balcony with a large dining table overlooking the pool. The kitchen has all the facilities you need for holiday meals with a washer/dryer and clothes line too! We rented a car easily in English Harbour as the climb up to the property is very steep and not easy when it is hot outside! The shops, bars and restaurants are all a 5 minute drive away and so is the nearest beach! Our host Simonetta was available for any help that we needed including buying us a few groceries before our arrival! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon !

The property is beautiful However one of the main reasons I booked it is because it says it’s 2 minutes away from the beach. NOT TRUE! They need to change the description. Also if you are not familiar with the area it’s hard to find because it’s up in the hills. The directions weren’t very clear. In my case the host was out of town but despite that she tried to communicate the best way she could. If you don’t like cats this may not be the place for you because there are 2 cats that live on the property and are very comfortable hopping on the table while you’re trying to eat. The refrigerator had some issues and kept beeping but they sent someone to fix it right away, but then the beeping started again. The road to the villa is unpaved and very hard on your car. If you don’t mind being secluded up in the hills then go for it. If you have reliable transportation, go for it. The place is very nice and the view is amazing. The pool was also very nice. I would stay again now that I know what I’m dealing with but I was visiting family and had resources. You will have to clean up after yourself. This is more like an Air B&B.

Brilliant stay at Sea La Vie

We had an excellent time at the villa and would return again. Good communication from Eve beforehand and we were met by someone at the property on arrival. It was clean and tidy. All requests were dealt with promptly. The view from this property high on the hill in Falmouth across English Harbour is amazing from the veranda, the upstairs balcony & the infiniti pool. Full aircon inside plus fans inside and out. Weather a steady 29-30c which is normally year round so needed. Access to the pool is either through an door onto the main house's veranda - but this is not really viable as either the owners are there or as when we were there, the house sitter Shirley with her family (who were lovely and friendly). In reality, access is a short walk back onto the drive and under through an access door. This is not a problem. The children loved the pool. Did I mention the view... You need a 4 x 4 for this property. It is off the main Matthews Road up a very steep road to other local houses then with a rough dirt track of say 50m from the road to the paved drive. We did not make our taxi drivers go down it in case they damaged their car. The rain when it comes is short but haracteristically heavy for the Caribbean damaging the roads which is why it is so bumpy. It is not a problem. A car is needed to get to restaurants & local shops - Baileys or Crab Liquor or the slightly bigger shop/small supermarket, Covent Garden, 7 mins drive in the main centre of English Harbour.
