Our home has all the amenities. You walk in to a beautiful 3 bedroom and two full baths. Laundry room, full kitchen, beautiful wood burning stove but that’s not it. When you walk onto the giant deck you have everything you can imagine. Inside the shed is an outdoor television, ping pong table,corn hole and some toys. On the deck is a table ,chairs,bbq and hot tub. You won’t even want to go inside with how amazing it feels to be on the deck!

My family had a great stay at this cabin over Christmas. Has all the amenities you need. The hot tub was great! It was very clean and very well maintained! I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a great Mountain getaway!

Great Christmas Vacation!

This is such a great cabin! Small and cozy. So many fun qualities; hot tub, wood burning fireplace, and huge deck! Also the place was decorated so beautifully for our Christmas celebration! We are so happy with this property! The owner was so communicative and friendly.

A Peaceful Getaway

We had such a great time , the weather was real nice compared to ours in the valley. The hot tub felt amazing & the house is beautiful & cozy inside also, spacious & breezy on the outside. We definitely would come back for another peaceful getaway.

Fun stay with family and friends

This property was above our expectations. Located in a great little neighborhood it was easy to get to the lake everyday and a comfortable place to retreat after long days on the water. The air conditioning kept the house cool and we had everything we needed for a fun stay with our friends and young children. The deck was awesome we spent every evening BBQing and playing games outside under the trees. The house was very clean and even baby/ toddler friendly. The host Cassandra is very responsive, friendly, and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This home was very clean and well-stocked. Plenty of towels, dishes, firewood, etc. We could not have asked for more. Our family had the BEST time using the hot tub, ping pong table and fire pit. We definitely want to return!

Sadly disappointed

This is a new development with construction on all sides of this property. Very noisy and dusty even during the weekend. If you inside your in a condo type feel with no real windows to see out of. Lighting is all over head and not conducive for reading. Coffee pot broke on our second day. No mirrors in the house except in bathroom with loud exhaust fans. Shower doors not real safe and you felt like you had to be very careful So sorry for the disappointing review but we actually left early and felt like it was not worth the money

End of summer vacay

It is the perfect place for fun with family and friends. It’s close to town and the lake without having the noise and traffic on town. Will definitely stay again.

Love the place!

This is a very cozy, clean and well stocked home. The outside deck is large with a wonderful spa! We enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table and very nice fire pit where we made S'mores. We've stayed at many Shaver Lake rentals and this is our favorite! We hope to rent again next year.

Last minute getaway

Location is good. 4 minute drive into small town for small grocery and food needs. Lake is just a couple minutes beyond that. The house has everything you need for cooking, sleeping, bathing etc. The outside deck is large and the jacuzzi was really nice. Parking is a little tight. Two full-size vehicles can fit, but tight. Not to worry, there’s on street parking two houses down (20 steps or so away). The home was tidy. The bedrooms were good sized and the living room was okay. A little tight but doable. We had 8 guest total 4 adults 4 kids 11 & under. Thanks again for sharing your space

Great mountain retreat

Cassandra was an excellent host. She was on top of everything and very communicative. Our children especially enjoyed all the kids toys in the home and the swim set/park area in the neighborhood. The location was perfect- close enough the lake and even though we went in summer, it would also be a great winter spot. We hope to stay again when we can.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Everything was wonderful. This home was stocked with everything needed. We came during snow season and were able to play just out back of the property without ever leaving. The town was just minutes away. It was quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed. Thank you Souza family for creating such an amazing environment.

Small, but efficient

2 night trip, house was clean and organized. Large deck for small dog to run around on was fantastic. Parking is a bit tight for two full size trucks, but great experience!

Weekend getaway with my adult kids and grandchild

Overall we enjoyed our family time without the city life and busy schedules. The cabin was not very clean when we arrived, there were dirty sheets on the floor in the laundry room, my grandchild pacifier fell and rolled under the couch and when we moved the couch the floors were dirty, there was Christmas wrap behind the couch and under the couch. The shutters In The kitchen right side of window was broken along the part that you open them. Those few things should be addressed. All in all we had a very nice time and enjoyed your cabin. Thank you for allowing us to stay and bring in the new year.

Beautiful cabin

Loved our family trip. Cabin was beautiful and clean. The kids LOVED the patio and all of the toys/doll house upstairs. Had a minor issue the first day and the owner was super helpful and communicative and resolved the issue quickly. We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway!

We had an excellent stay here! The owners were very helpful and communicated well. We had one issue and they resolved it right away. The property was at a great location, with our small kids having the community area in the middle with a swingset and little sledding area we barely left the cabin. The hot tub was an awesome feature, well maintained. The house was well maintained and well stocked. Ultimately, the benefit of having a place that is managed by owners rather than a group is big for us, and that was true here. The place felt like a home, it was easy to communicate with the owners, they cared and did their best to take care of anything or answer questions. We came during a huge snowstorm and it appeared to affect the internet, so this likely doesn't apply to future guests, but the internet wasn't sufficient to stream, so I used my phone as a hotspot and it worked out. The kids room was heaven for our kids with the dollhouse and stuffies. The wood burning stove was super nice, and was easy to use (other stoves were hard to light and warm up the chimney, this one for some reason was a piece of cake, probably because it looked very new). Great location close to town, I thought we might hear cars on the highway, but that wasn't an issue at all. We will be coming back!
