Ultimate couples getaway! Quiet and private Lakeside Cottage in the Adirondacks

Cozy lakeside cottage with private dock. Great for canoe, kayak, fishing, or just relaxing in the water. Waterside has a raised platform for campfires in the fire pit provided. The interior of the cabin features a bedroom with a queen bed, and a couch that converts to a full bed. Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig, and toaster. full bath with walk-in shower. The best part inside is the view from the living room of the hillside across the lake, a great place to read a book and relax.
Close to Schroon Lake and Brant Lake, both with public boat launches. 20 minutes from Bolton Landing on Lake George and only 30 minutes from the historic Village of Lake George, outlet shopping and Six Flags.

The cabin is nicely remote. It is in great proximity to the lake. It was a nice quiet getaway for us, but if we had children this would be a dream. With a treehouse and docks in the lake ,a paddle oat and kayaks.

We were on a 50th wedding anniversary tour and of all the places we stayed, this was the one with THE view!....stunning from the firepit deck by the lake or from the living room with the window wall. Visited Aug 2nd through the 9th. Nicely and appropriately decorated with Adirondack ambience, cute and cozy cottage on a very quiet and restful lake. Great view of the rock faced mountain across the pond. Enjoyed fires on the deck by the the water listening to the loons and watching the Osprey hunt.

Great spot in a lovely little town! We enjoyed the lake and the quiet home while exploring the lakes around the adirondacks! Would stay here again!

Quaint place for a couple

Very nice little place on the lake. The furniture is not the most comfortable, but hey, you’re in a camp, so it works out just fine. Kitchen and bathroom are convenient, nice strong shower. Fishing right from the dock, caught smaller sized fish, but plenty of them and a good variety of fish, too. Saw beavers, loons, blue heron, and the most amazing thing: the hummingbirds! They frequent the feeder right outside the door. Very nice for a couple’s getaway.

Best lake view of all lakes in Adirondack visited by us

The pond is small by Adirondack standard, but the setting is perfect. We took our best lake view pictures here right in front of the cottage.

I've always wanted to see the fall colors up north and this cabin and location provided an opportunity to do that while also vacationing with the family. The area was quiet, the lake clear, and the cabin cozy. We felt very comfortable with a family of 5 (3 kids, 3,4,6) in the cabin. The view out the front window was incredible and the accessibility to the lake was a high point for us. We were treated to lake fog which was a special treat each morning. We even paddle-boated through it! I will note the road between the cabin and the lake was a anxious point with young kids, but we all learned how to be mindful of cars which drove by very infrequently. The loft area was a fun experience for our kids. I will say it is tight for an adult up there, and a bit tricky to navigate the shelf-stairs for young kids and adults (medium kids probably have no issue), but we all handled it just fine and we could tuck the kids in up there still. We loved the experience and would gladly return.

We found this property in 2018 and the view from the front room of the mountains and lake sold us immediately. We enjoy this property so much as a family and wanted to share its beauty with those who wanted to get away and enjoy each other and the outdoors again :)

Beaver Pond is a private lake so you won't get the noise and traffic that comes with public lakes. It is perfect for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming.
