This spacious, ground level apartment is located in the highly sought after Twinbrook neighborhood offering sweeping views of Sugarloaf Mountain and the Bigelow Range. The property is conveniently located a short ride to the mountain bike trails in the summer and an easy 7-minute shuttle ride to and from the base lodge in the winter. Guests have a private entrance with a large mudroom for gear. The space is warm and cozy with radiant heat in the winter and cool in the summer with high ceilings and lots of windows/light. There is plenty of room to spread out with two large bedrooms, an open living/dining area and a well-appointed kitchen. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second has a queen bed with a set of twin bunks. Both rooms have large closets, dressers, new mattresses and high-quality linens. The kitchen offers a large apron sink with soapstone countertops, electric glass top range, microwave, refrigerator, breakfast bar and an outdoor grill. The living/dining area has a full dining table great for sit down meals, board games and it doubles as a bright, quiet place for remote work. There is a comfy sectional with two leather, swivel tub chairs and flat screen TV for relaxing after a day on the trails. The large bathroom has a full shower and granite vanity with double sinks. Two parking spots. In the back of the property, the 'twin brooks' for which the subdivision was named, converge into a beautiful babbling brook which feeds into the Carrabassett River. Guests have private access to the stream and the multi-use trail system. We are a very short ride to the Outdoor Center and the cross country and bike trails can be accessed from our neighborhood. It is a short drive to nearby restaurants (The Rack and Hug's), a fantastic local, well stocked convenience store (Mountainside Grocers), the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center, the Anti-Gravity Center, Carrabassett Valley Academy, Sugarloaf Golf Course and the Narrow Gauge Pathway. In the winter, regular shuttle service runs on weekends and school vacation weeks providing a quick 7-minute ride to the mountain every 30 minutes. This is a non-smoking, non-pet rental. Owners are in the upper level with a separate entrance.
