Beautiful Seal Beach Home

This is a lovely home; it's like staying at a family member's or friend's house in that it doesn't feel like "a rental". And a top feature for me was an attached garage so didn't have to worry about street parking (or moving our car certain days/hours for street cleaning as is common in Seal Beach). We'll definitely stay again.

Fabulous Staycation

We're locals who needed to move out of our home for a few days and found this property in Seal Beach. While we were already familiar with the house's convenient location to the beach and restaurants (which is one reason why we chose it), the reality is that it's absolutely ideal for a relaxing stay. The house itself is cute and comfortable. The beach is literally across the street, and a variety of good restaurants are just a short walk away, whether on Main Street, up towards PCH, or at the nearby shopping center at 2nd and PCH. And the view from those roof decks is unparalleled. The owner Susan also was easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to again.

Escape from winter

I rented this house for my grandson and his family. They wanted to escape the relentless cold winter in Northern Virginia and take the kids to Disneyland..Since I live in the area I was also able to enjoy time with them in this beautiful furnished and well equipped home..The house is very spacious..My family was thrilled. There was also beach chairs and bikes in the garage…The host was very accommodating for a special need and always available for communication. I will definitely rent this home again the next time my family comes for a visit

Excellent Stay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home and highly recommend it! We rented the house for a short winter vacation with two families, and it was the perfect choice. Each family enjoyed their own spacious master suite, complete with a private bathroom and access to a stunning roof deck. The teens loved having their own area and bathroom, and the additional bed listed in the common area had two doors, making it semi-private and super functional.The kitchen was impressively stocked, allowing us to host two multi-family dinners with ease. The provided beach chairs, towels, and wagon were a fantastic bonus, and the parking worked out great —fitting a transit van in the garage—was a huge plus.The location was fantastic, with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and activities nearby. We especially enjoyed watching gorgeous sunsets from the roof deck. Most of the attractions we wanted to visit were conveniently within 45 minutes.Overall, this home was everything we could have hoped for and more. It’s beautifully maintained, perfectly situated, and ideal for families or groups. We had an unforgettable vacation and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property

Worth every penny. Location was fantastic. Home is huge and gorgeous with three decks/patios with views of the water. Owner was very communicative and accommodating. Lots of beach stuff to use and bikes as well.

Girl Scouts

We took a group of Girl Scouts to Seal Beach and this VRBO was amazing and super accommodating for our group! Susan helped us with our activities and got us in Touch with Girl Scouts in LA county!! She even set up an extra bed for our girls !!! We couldn’t have had a better stay!!! Highly recommend!!!

A Beachy Good Time

The house was very charming, and felt like someone's home rather than a rental. The kitchen has a Viking stove! The dishes/pots/pans/silverware were all high quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked every meal at home. The garage was plenty big, had a washer and dryer, plenty of towels, boogie boards, and sand toys. We parked one vehicle in the garage and one pulled in behind the garage. We did have a total of 8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids. We had our 4 year old on the futon in the common area, and it was okay for him but I would be unhappy if I were an adult trying to sleep on it. Has a very hard crease in the middle and then the halves didn't offer much support. The balconies were GORGEOUS and we loved sitting up on the roof deck to watch the sunset. The neighborhood is beautiful and stunning. Great place for walking/jogging, and it's about a 10 minute walk to Main St with restaurants and shops. We did particularly choose this location because it looked close to the beach... and it kind of is. Don't get me wrong, it's so close to the beach but the ocean is a bit of a hike through deep sand. It was a commitment to walk out to the beach, especially with chairs and umbrellas and toys and 2 toddlers. The beach though is amazing. It has little shells and the wet sand at the ocean is sparkly and it was soft enough that walking through barefoot was comfy. Overall, we had an incredible vacation! Thank you!

Wonderful Beach House

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect. We were close to everything. It was clean and comfortable and the rooftop deck is lovely. We brought our two dogs and there was a really nice park right next door to walk them in. The owner was so nice and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. She even sent us our charging wire we left behind! This is a great place. I recommend it!

Fun family visit in Seal Beach

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and comfortable. There are beach chairs and toys available and high chair which we used for our baby. It’s a short walk to the beach and many more steps to the ocean (it’s a very deep sandy beach). We liked that Seal Beach area is family friendly and we felt safe. We were never approached for donations or saw anyone we were scared of. Having the police station right by the pier is really working well. The shops and restaurants were plentiful and unique. We hope to be back again soon.

California Dreaming is True

What a wonderful stay we all had at this lovely property! It's large and spacious, clean and well stocked with everything a person could need. Our (very nice) manager went the extra mile to make us comfortable and answered all my question in a timely manner. Check in was easy, check out was simple. Parking for 3 cars was great. Balconies had beautiful views. My family & friends had a fabulous time as did I.

Great house, location & owner!

We absolutely loved our weeklong stay at this home in March 2024! It was a family get-together of 6 (plus our 14 year-old-dog!) with some who live locally and others were from out of state. The house was a great homebase to hit one of the amusement parks, visit relatives in Southern California and enjoy some great quality time together. The house is beautiful and very clean. The living room is larger than it appears with two big sofas and a comfy big chair. There are two nice master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms which were great for our group, and there was a nice office just outside the back master room which worked great for the one who stayed connected to the office. We all also very much enjoyed our happy hours on the rooftop deck while watching the sun set in the evenings. The owner, Susan, was terrific! She was very responsive to questions before we booked our stay and throughout the process. And, when I realized the folks from out of town were arriving earlier than expected, she happily accommodated an earlier arrival which we all very must appreciated. We couldn't have asked for anything more from this VRBO booking and look forward to our next stay at the California Dreaming home! Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay at your home, we truly enjoyed it :).
