“Paddler’s End” is a recently renovated Deltaville home tucked away at the most peaceful and quiet end of Jackson Creek at the mouth of the Piankatank and Chesapeake Bay. Lots of outdoor space w/ lush waterfront yard, breezy screen porch & private dock. Featuring fully renovated kitchen & baths, open living/dining area with vaulted ceiling, cozy bedrooms and a charming mix of antique and modern furnishings. Unique guest house w/glass garage door offers extra space for an extra cost. Kayaks and bikes too!

Other things to note
Guest cottage will not be rented to other guests if a group is staying in the home. Great get away with everything to make you feel at home

This was a great find and hope to be back! Everything thing was as advertised. I always appreciate a well-stocked kitchen: every item you could need and more. All of the water toys and bikes are another great touch.

Weekend away

House had all the things we needed. Fully stocked kitchen. We loved the screened in porch. The dock was very nice.The only drawback was that you had to pass through another bedroom to get to the twin bedroom. Overall, the house was very nice. The neighbors were friendly, and the community had a lot to offer like restaurants, some shops and a winery.

Such a great space

Deltaville is a favorite place of mine. My friend group and I rented this property for Memorial Day Weekend.It is close to everything. The house has most everything that you need down to the paper for the tables when you are picking crabs. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of linens.The dock and screened in Gazebo were our favorite spots!

Fresh, clean and fabulous!

So much personality, wonderful art- the pictures don’t do it justice. Every detail has been thought of great interior and exterior so many places to hang out love the porch loved the dock. Great kitchen, fully equipped!

Peaceful Retreat

The house was exactly as shown and described. It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as a very well stocked shed with water toys and bikes. Very private location off of a creek. We would visit again!

Our kids favorite house ever

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is as advertised, even better actually. They had all the small things you need to be comfortable. The screened in porch was great as well, able to sit outside at night with no bugs. We will be back!

Peaceful Well Appointed Home!

We loved every moment in both the house and the garage cottage! Beautiful art & furniture. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen & great water pressure as well as WiFi. Everyone enjoyed the screened in porch, kayaks, and the dock with chairs and umbrellas! Cannot wait to come back!

Perfect for weekend getaway

This was the perfect house for our group of friends. We were in town for a wedding and took full advantages of the location and amenities. Great kayaks and bikes. We loved the fire pit and outdoor patio. We're already looking for an excuse to rent this house again.

Super cute cottage with all the amenities needed.

Host was gracious and quick communicator. Cottage was very comfortable and had everything 7 of us needed to cook, play in the water, enjoy the dock and relax. 5 mins from Fishing Bay YC made it super convenient to run back and forth to regatta.

Wonderful & Relaxing Weekend

We had the best weekend staying at Paddler's End! The house was so charming and inviting, no detail was left undone. Plenty of room to spread out and for our toddler to explore :-) We loved the central location, which made it easy for us to take our boat out to nearby waterways and towns. We will certainly be back!

Wonderful getaway

What an amazing time we had at Paddler's End in Deltaville. We stayed in both the main house as well as the cottage as we had our adult children and grandkids with us. Meg has thought of everything, and her communication and decorating skills deserves more than 5 stars! Such fun kayaking, fishing, playing Bingo (games in the cabinet), and enjoying time on the screen porch and dock. Highly recommend!

Time to relax

Everything you need for a relaxing getaway. My son just got back from deployment and wanted to relax and be away from crowds. This was the perfect spot. Fishing and kayaking during the day and close enough to good eating establishments. We will definitely be back!

Serene Escape

This was exactly what we needed. Off the beaten path, but centrally located for day trips. The property was immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the kayaks were loved and enjoyed by all 4 of us. The guide book gave us lots of helpful information also. Finally, everyone we met was courteous and warm. So glad we found this property.

Quaint home with all the necessities and extra touches!

We loved our girls’ weekend at this home. It has everything we needed and more. The host could not have been more helpful! We enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes on the water and also the screened in porch. The home was comfortable with so many thoughtful decorative touches. The neighborhood was not as quaint as anticipated, but it didn’t affect our stay. I would definitely stay again!

Charming Deltaville Cottage!

Paddler’s End was a charming cottage nestled in a quiet little neighborhood. It was beautifully decorated and surprisingly very spacious. We spent hours conversing on the screened porch each night. Several in our party used the kayaks on the creek. Bicycles and a Paddle board were also available for our use. Linens were provided that made for easier packing. A washer and dryer were also included. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Well Done!

I just want to say how nice it was to communicate with Meg, she is just the best. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed and some very nice additions like the use of the kayaks and bikes. We made use of the cottage as well as the house and the cottage is a unique experience with the glass garage door and the screen that rolls down so you can see out, but you cannot see in. You can sit and watch the wildlife without disturbing them. There is currently a family of beavers, a mom and three little ones that like to sit on the deck of the cottage. Thanks Meg, it's very unlikely we will find ourselves in Deltaville again but if we do, we will certainly check to see if this house is available.

Simply Amazing!

From the moment you get your first message from Meg to the moment you leave the house, the whole experience is simply amazing. I have never had a more caring manager. Meg sets the tone for your vacation. The house is beautiful, spotless, in a quiet area with a very calming view from the pier. The house has everything you need but food. The bed was great. The shower was just wonderful. Sitting down by the pier was a beautiful and calming experience. We would ride into Gloucester or go to Kilmarnock for the great bakeries and gourmet popcorn. There is a grocery store not far from the house, but we did a majority of our shopping in Gloucester and Kilmarnock. The kitchen was perfect. Again, everything you need but the food. This house is so wonderful. I really recommend this for couples and families. Not only do you have privacy, but the water would be a really safe place for kids. Meg has all the toys you need in the shed for this. I enjoyed walking down to a local yacht club. It was safe and had great views. Really, you must experience this house and the wonderful manager, Meg!

So many wonderful memories made

I cannot say enough about everything Meg did to make this such a special vacation for us. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We let her know that this was a bucket list fishing trip for my friend with terminal cancer. She bent over backwards to get us fishing tips and did so many little things that touched our hearts. My friend wants to defy all odds to be able to come back next year. Thank you, Meg, for your kindness. All the neighbors were also so kind and helpful. One gave the boys a lure to use and another gave them tips. There is one home on the street that could use some upkeep but it didn't bother us as it was like you were in a world of your own once you entered that spectacular back yard. Hanging the screened in porch in the evenings was a nice repreeve from the bugs. If we can swing it, we will be back! Ps, the beds were fantastic, so comfy, and the AC worked fabulously. One note of caution, the bathroom door in the master sticks especially after a shower, but if you push in on the bottom edge while pulling, you can get out. Scared me for a minute when I was in the house by myself with no phone. Note to Meg, a little wd40 might help.

We are from Richmond and bought this property as a place to unwind and create memories with our children and 5 grandchildren. After spending the past few months doing some renovations and improvements, we are sharing it with guests when we are not able to be there to enjoy it. This project has been a labor of love and we have furnished it as "our" home, not as a "rental". Deltaville has become a second home to us and we look forward to spending more time there with our family over the next years. We hope you will love it as much as we do!

This property is tucked away on an extremely private and serene waterfront setting. We have fallen in love with Deltaville and its' "old school" charm. The town has not changed much over the years! It is a quiet town with a welcoming warmth, and has all one would need for a relaxing getaway. Just enough restaurants, farm and seafood stands and a great grocery store. If you crave peace, privacy, quiet and nature, and want to stay in a clean, fresh and cozy home full of personality, this is for you!
