Family Week Long Stay
My family and I stayed here for a week to visit other family in the area. My overall impression was just okay. There were some great things and some unpleasant things. The property manager was quick to respond to messages and very helpful. She allowed us to check in early and we were so grateful! But after checking in, we realized that it might have come at the expense of a good cleaning. We found about 6 empty liquor bottles around the house and pool area. Which might not have been so concerning if we didn’t have so many small children in our group. The house in general didn’t appear as if it had really been cleaned in quite a long time, probably just picked up a little. There were food crumbs and other small things all over the house. There were also other small things that could have been maintained better: a towel bar that fell down as soon as we touched it, not very well stocked kitchen as far as cooking equipment, a door alarm that didn’t work and not enough of some essentials like toilet paper.
The great things about the house: the pool! Lots of towels, blankets and pillows. Plenty of dishes for all of us and lots of space.
Overall, this property could be great if it is maintained much better in the future. And, like I said, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. I would consider staying again if I knew it would be cleaned well and kept up. After staying, we realized why this one might have been cheaper than similar houses in the area.
