Welcome to this charming cottage in Lansing, WV. This marvelous property boasts 3 cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed, one with a full bed, and a twin bunk bed room that sleeps 4. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, a washing machine, and a jetted bathtub in the bathroom. With AC and heating, guests will stay comfortable year-round. We hope you enjoy what our place and the New River Gorge has to offer.

This property is half a mile to the Endless Wall trailhead and 1 mile to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. With a great view of a field and the park from the front porch, you will be sure to relax and unwind before and after all your adventures.

Excellent stay overall. Great location and house was exceptional. My only complaint was that the guy cutting the grass left grass everywhere and was blocking the parking when we went to check in to home.

House was incredibly clean and tidy. Great central location to explore the Northern portion of New River Gorge National Park and surrounding state parks. Only about 50 minutes away from the most southern areas of the National park, with all kinds of things to explore on the way!Very comfortable beds, modern amenities and appliances. The whirlpool tub is a big bonus. Quiet neighborhood with lovely woods behind the house- you will see deer for sure. We enjoyed visits from turkeys as well.

Place is perfect for staying in the area, close to everything you want to do. Deer were outside all the time, which makes it even more fun to be there. Its very clean, and probably the easiest check in and check out ive had with vrbo. Excellent!

Excellent property which well met our needs for our trip and was reasonably priced. The house is close to everything and the deer and turkeys were fun to watch while enjoying our morning coffee on the porch. The property manager was quick to respond with communication and very kind, polite, and courteous. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend the rental to friends and family.

We had a great stay! Everything we needed and more! Fully equipped and clean. It was located in the middle of a ton of great attractions. Beautiful countryside and had great views in the morning of the local wildlife. Every morning and evening we watched turkeys and tons of deer just right out the big bay window.

Excellent location Beautiful Property

Excellent communication with property manager and check in was a breeze! Excellent location! Trails nearby, bridge nearby and Fayetteville located within a few miles! The property has amazing sunsets, an epic field full of native milkweed and lots of wildlife! Clean, spacious and well stocked! Great Independence Day celebration!

Carri was attentive when we had a question about wi-fi and dropped off some coffee mugs. The inside was decorared well and had plenty of extra towels, blankets, and kitchen ware, and enough places to sit outside. It was a quiet area with a nice view of the field with deer and turkey visitors. The landscaping was lacking though and really could have been spruced up.

Can't say enough good things about this place!

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during spring break. Everything was clean and in great condition, and the host clearly went the extra mile to provide finishing touches. The towels were extra large and plush, the coffee area had multiple options, there were extra condiments in the fridge, and each bedroom has its own tv (the kids were thrilled about this!). When we asked about using the fire pit, the host even offered to go pick up firewood for us! The area is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, and very close to many of the New River Gorge trails. We stayed in three different places during our spring break and this one was by far our favorite!!

Excellent property & service

This was a great location for a trip to a beautiful National Park. It’s just 5 minutes from the main visitor’s center and New River Bridge and 10 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. The cottage is kept immaculately clean and located on a quiet gravel street. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook and is equipped with everything I needed to make dinner for 5. The owner stocked the fire pit with sticks and firewood. I forgot to pack a lighter and couldn’t find one on site. I contacted the owner. She brought one by the house in 10 minutes…that’s service!!! I would stay again!

Better than advertised!

Carri’s place is a must stay! It was immaculate and bigger than advertised! It was a lovely stay and we would definitely return. It was so wonderful to find each room thoughtfully put together with cozy extra blankets and fresh cut flowers! She thought of everything, from games to coloring supplies for the kids. There is Lots of seating, a big cozy sectional paired perfectly with an array of Togo snacks and hot cocoa left in a little basket. The dining room seats 8 and a beautiful patio table on an inviting little porch. The front porch was perfect for relaxing and watching the deer, enjoying the fall foliage, and the sunset. The house has a shower/jetted tub and is stocked with all the supplies you need or may have forgotten like towels, toothbrushes, coffee/filters, spices, toilet paper, and condiments.Carri was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. She asked the nature of our trip and guests coming so she could add extra touches. She left on the lights for us knowing we were coming in after dark, was flexible when we considered adding a day to our trip. The house has all the appliances you may need and all the kitchen extras! Thanks for making our weekend amazing! Great location near the new river bridge. The house had toaster, blender, even Tupperware and a brand new dog toy for a pet. We loved the decor also! Thanks So much for having us!

This is a great little cottage just minutes from the New River visitor center. It is a very convenient location for activities around Fayetteville, being walking distance from the Endless Wall trailhead. It’s just a few minutes drive to Adventures On the Gorge, where we did our white water trip. The cottage has a queen master bed, a double in the second bedroom and four (two sets) bunk beds in the third. The rooms aren’t particularly big, so a completely full house would be crowded. But the beds were all clean and comfortable. There is only one bathroom though. The kitchen is fully stocked so cooking is feasible. There is seating for six at the large bar top table. We didn’t cook, but used this table for playing board games. The space was great for this. The living room is comfortable, though we didn’t use it much. There is a fire pit, though we had to buy some firewood at the grocery store in Fayetteville. The front porch is covered and a perfect place for a morning coffee. We saw many turkeys and deer every morning. Carri was a great host, responsive to all inquiries within the day. Overall it’s a great value and definitely one of the best options in the area.

Born and raised, struggled and stayed right here in the heart of the New River Gorge. I moved into this house when I was 6 months old. I love this area and everything it has to offer my friends, family and new friends/guests.

This property has been in my family for generations. My mother and father started building this house when my mom was pregnant with me. We moved in when I was 6 months old. Of course, I don't remember that but I do have many great memories growing up in the woods behind the house.
