Hi! Welcome to the Berkshires! Enjoy total privacy on a full acre property overlooking 200 acres of conservation land. Warm nights by the fire & scenic views all in our fully stocked home 8 min from Great Barrington. Within steps of Big Elm Brewery & Berkshire Mountain Distillery. Peloton included. Pet-Friendly. Minutes to great hiking, skiing, antiquing & more

Our home, Berkshire Getaway, is across the street from Berkshire Mountain Distillery and a short walk to Big Elm Brewery. Another mile down the road is town center! Centrally located near Great Barrington, our fully fenced in pet-friendly property is private, quiet and surrounded by nature with plenty to do near by. Recently remodeled, you'll enjoy three bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 twin Murphy style bed), two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with All Clad stainless cookware, a working Wood Fire Place, Gas Grill, outdoor firepit and full washer/dryer. Now includes Peloton for your use!

Our home is perfect for remote work with high-speed internet and two office spaces.

Within minutes of Bartholomew's Cobble, 10 minutes from Butternut & Catamount and 30 minutes from Tanglewood.

Please note that this home generally has pets when we are here, but there will be no pets on the property otherwise. We do our very best to hide all the evidence of them, there may be strands of love that we miss with the vacuum. If you have severe allergies to animals this might not be the right fit for you.

Window Air Conditioners are installed on or after Memorial Day and taken out Labor Day each year. It is generally cool enough to open windows and use fans, it’s the Berkshires after all!

Three pairs of Snow Shoes will be available for your use to enjoy!
The cat, will also NOT be here during this time!

**PETS **
We’re happy to host you and your adult pup at our house. There are some rules (like no pups on the furniture) but we know it’s so nice to be able to bring them along!

Our yard is fully fenced in on an acre of land to let your best friend run around and enjoy.

We did not spend a lot of time fully using this very nice facility as our family was nearby. But the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. We had a lovely view from the upstairs bedroom and from the kitchen. The house had everything we needed and many things we didn’t have occasion to use but would have liked to. I highly recommend it all. We felt lucky to be in a place that would have suited us as a home.

Enjoyable Stay

The property was in a beautiful setting. It was extremely pet friendly as described. The master bedroom was spot on, although the mattress was quite hard. The Queen bedroom only had a Full size mattress, but comfortable. Two other issues were that there was no table to dine at, only 4 tightly lined up stools. We are 4 full sized adults, it just didn't work. We might also suggest a microwave to warm and reheat leftovers and drinks. All in all we did enjoy our stay. Thank you

Perfect winter home base!

We had a 5-6 week stay at Kat and John's place. It is lovely and cozy and was perfect for our family of four (plus our pup). The yard was fully enclosed, and our Houdini never breached the fence after casing the yard. The kitchen is modern and well-stacked, with sufficient spices and plates/pans/utensils for cooking. The couches are clean and comfortable, and the book selection is abundant and amazing! For those with young kiddos, note that the upstairs master is a loft setup which worked fine for us but just know there isn't a door. The two bedrooms downstairs were great for our girls when they needed "separation". Location is quiet and serene, and less than 15 minutes from Butternut and all that Great Barrington offers. We explored the brewery but didn't make it to the winery and distillery, all within easy walking distance! Kat was great with communication and always helpful. Highly recommend their home for your winter getaway!!

Enjoy the full extent of our home just as we do. This is not a full time rental. Very close to Skiing, hiking, boating, and so much more.
