great first time

had never been to Lake Nantahala but this was most excellent. although it is supposed to be busy season, felt like we had the lake to ourselves. excellent for kayaking, rented a waverunner, went hiking. absolute relaxation. great to get disconnected from phones and computers. the house is well appointed, bathrooms have been remodeled, porch is inviting. much appreciate allowing pets!

Cosy sweet lake house

Unforgettable home to spend precious time with family, absolutely gorgeous surroundings and dreamy, cosy cabin , clean well stocked kitchen and super comfy bedrooms. Got to use starlink service for first time , dock was little walk away ,but it was plenty of room to park our large trucks .

Anniversary Delight

We celebrated our anniversary at this perfect romantic and beautiful home. It has a spectacular view of the lake, lots of privacy, and surrounded by hiking trails and water activities. The cozy and rustic decor was delightful. We ate a delicious dinner at the marina and rented a boat too. The owner is very responsive. Fabulous place just wish we had more time there!

Autumn Leaves and Birthday Wishes

This property is above a beautiful lake, just down the road from the marina. Great place to rent a boat for an afternoon on the lake. We were a party of six and plenty of room to spread out. We were there during a Saturday and enjoyed the motorcycles, BMW’s and Porsches roll by the house. About 40 mins from Franklin, a great place to do some shopping. We enjoyed our downtime at Nantahala cabin! Thanks Tom!

Beautiful view

We loved the cabin it was lovely, only problem we had was the driveway is not made for a large truck pulling a boat. Otherwise absolutely wonderful.

Amazing first date!

My new friend and I travelled from Manhattan and New Orleans to meet in the middle at this fantastically lovely cabin on Nantahala Lake. Perfect for a first date, and perfect for family and friends… there’s a ton of space, great bathrooms, a cute fire pit area, rocking chairs, fire wood for the fire places…. The list goes on. We loved the primary suite. I believe it’s a new addition to the house and the aroma of the wood is so warming. Can’t wait to return and spend more time on the lake here!

Beautiful Lake Cabin

We came to Nantahala Lake for a wedding at a nearby venue and were thoroughly impressed with this cabin. Driveway was a little challenging, but was anticipated. Well appointed cabin with everything you need. Easy to reach property manager. However you will need to use Wi-Fi as there is no cellular service around Nantahala. Very comfortable bedding, amazing design, and high-end finishings. We didn’t use the dock, but rather only a short 30 min drive to Nantahala Outdoor Center for kayaking and rafting. Definitely recommend this lake cabin for your mountain vacation.

Wonderful family weekend in late fall

Beautiful cabin with comfortable family room, fireplace, dining area and well stocked kitchen. Both regular coffee pot and kuerig. Wonderful master suite w comfy beds and linens, the master bath is top shelf. We swept away leaves from the deck and made a path to the fire pit and enjoyed cold, sunny days outside. There was wood there though we brought our own. Fun game closet. The views of the lake and mountains are gorgeous and we caught the last of the red/orange leaves about to fall. The dock is down the road and around the corner. Thanks for a great stay.

Stunning cabin, beautiful view of lake

This is a well-appointed, luxurious, beautifully decorated cabin with a great view of Lake Nantahala. We enjoyed the gorgeous master suite and bath, kids enjoyed upstairs rooms. Patio, porch/deck, picnic table, fire pit area were all wonderful, plenty of wood provided. Kayaks were really fun, hobie boat listed was not available for use, life jackets listed were not there. Walk down to the lake and dock was quite steep and farther than anticipated, you have to cross a highway and keep walking. But we had great fun fishing off the dock. Kitchen could use a restock - foil, saran wrap, can opener, etc. would have been helpful. Interior is beautiful with luxury finishes, soaking tub, candles, really thoughtful. Overall a wonderful stay!

Great views of mountains and the lake

Beautiful location; beautiful, spacious bedrooms. Great access to the lake and accessible to river and zip lining experiences. Hikes are challenging. Lands End Marina restaurant is great, especially when you run out of groceries!

I love this cabin!

I loved this cabin so much, it was so cozy. My family and I enjoyed hanging out on the side yard/deck at night and spent our days on the dock. My only disappointment is that when the description said lakefront cabin I thought I would be able to walk out the door and actually walk to the lake. Yes you can see the lake from the deck and can walk to the lake but the cabin is up a hill and across the street so it was easier to just drive to the lake. Other than that I'd give it 5/5.

Perfect Getaway!!

By far one of our best experiences!! Tom was an amazing and attentive host. The cabin was perfect!!! The views were breathtaking and the house had everything you needed and then some. We would definitely stay there again.

Great spot at Nantahala Lake

Enjoyed spending time in this super cool house. White water rafting and boating on the lake were awesome. Would definitely recommend.
