Cabin was perfect for my family. We loved the large deck, had a beautiful view of the lake. Hosts were very responsive and made the whole process easy.

This cabin was very nice and was in a wonderfully quiet area. It was a great opportunity for our family to spend a relaxing weekend in. You have everything you would need and the hosts were very helpful. The lake is close but you still have lots of space in the backyard for a fire and fun. My favorite features were the large beautiful deck in back and the fireplace! It felt so rustic and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

First, the hosts were wonderful commicators! It is amazing to have people engaged.Also, it is great to have a place so quiet and a neighborhood on a end road for kids to play.Finally, it is rare to find people willing to help you out, extend your time there by a few minutes and just be willing to listen.Stay here and you will be amazed!Best,Beth

Great stay at North Bay Getaway!

My family and I really enjoyed the cabin in North Bay. The grounds were beautiful, cabin was cozy, and the hosts were very hospitable. We would love to come back next winter!

The North Bay Getaway is a comfortable, clean and cozy home right on the lake. With the 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, there was still a ton of room to hang out in other areas of the home. The fireplace would be lovely during the colder months.We loved the games, sitting outside on the deck, having everything we needed to make a full dinner, the breezes from the lake coming through the windows while catching up with old friends. For those who like to swim, it is crazy clean water with almost no weeds! And a huge beach area in front of the home that is perfectly shallow enough - even for the younger kids. Although it was only 74 degrees, we still had to get in and swim. This home is a guaranteed perfect spot for a vacation.

Great Holiday Stay

This is a prime location for summer boating, relaxing, and enjoying Side Lake. The cabin has everything you could need and was great for our family. We will definitely look to book again in the future!

Family Reunion

The owners are super responsive and helpful. The site is perfect for families with kids. The deck is great to enjoy the view of the lake and watch the kids play. Highly recommend!

Great Lake Getaway

Great property for a brief family gathering. Plenty of space for the six of us. So nice getting to enjoy the deck, disc golf and lake access. Be aware the bay on which the property sits is rather shallow (which this lake is known for) but we were able to get to the main lake slowly. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Beautiful location, view and cozy place to stay.

Michael was extremely helpful and available at a moment’s notice. He had a generator available and ran it throughout the night when electricity went out at night due to a bad thunderstorm. He was a great host, and the property we stayed at was beautiful, clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed,

A visit to Vince Schute bear sanctuary

We were told by multiple people to visit the Vince Schute bear sanctuary because we enjoy watching wildlife. The drive is five hours away so we looked for some place to stay and make it a mini vacation. I came across this house and what a great find! Quiet, comfy & secluded. Al and Becky are so gracious, kind and helpful.

Lake cabin

We enjoyed our stay. Our host did a great job providing information about both the cabin, how to get there, and about local attractions. The large deck provided great access to the lake - we especially enjoyed listening to the loons at night. The cabin was clean with plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and the access to the weber grill was much appreciated. Also appreciated having access to the canoe and 2 kayaks. Would highly recommend!

Good for the Soul

The location was gorgeous, the cabin felt like home, the water was the perfect temperature, full access to a canoe and kayaks was lovely. As a single Mom, knowing the owner was next door was a great sense of security. The PDF sharing local attractions was super thoughtful and helpful. It was clear from the reviews that this experience would go above and beyond. Yet, the experience exceeded my expectations. Eyeing the neighbor's pontoon, my kid was literally thinking how fun it'd be to go on a pontoon ride. A moment later, it was if the owner had read our minds and was offering us a ride. What a treat! We saw more of the lake and stopped in a shallow sandy area to hang out in the water. It was an epic adventure and just what kids need. What we all needed. While I hope you too enjoy your NBG getaway, it's almost too good to share it! It's the best, you should go there.

Overall, a wonderful trip! We were looking for a cabin vs staying in a hotel/motel & since it was such short notice, we were so excited to have found this! The location & cabin itself is so welcoming and beautiful! It's truly peaceful. The loon decor was an awesome touch. The hosts were amazing - friendly, detailed & easy to communicate with! The guidebook sent to us ahead of check-in allowed us to be prepared & understand everything. The loaf of cardamom bread from Karl's Breads was also an amazing touch. The hosts really went above and beyond! Although we spent most of our time out hunting, it was great to come back to a cozy cabin and warm up by the fire. Would highly recommend! We will absolutely book again in the future. Thank you so much!

We stayed for a big MTB race and find VRBO's are the place to stay when folks want a place to relax before/after the event. Recommend this gem.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The property is clean, comfortable and relaxing. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Side Lake! Communication was clear and consistent and it was incredibly easy to check in. We'll look to stay at this property the next time we visit family in the area.
