Don’t miss your opportunity to stay in a freshly renovated cottage nestled in between the woods on our private Historic 28-acre estate! It’s a short drive to Chautauqua Institution and Lake; you can enjoy the seclusion of the cottage surrounded by nature and wildlife, roam the estate’s walking trails, cool off in the heated pool (closes October 1st 2021 for the season and reopens May 15th 2022) or swap stories around the fire pit. You are able to enjoy all of this without giving up the convenience of being able to explore the culture and activities that Chautauqua County has to offer.

Sit on the covered front porch for your morning coffee or BBQ off the back deck! The cottage is like your home away from home with its fully equipped kitchen and Coffee Bar. There is a laundry room and large downstairs tub/shower bathroom. The main floor is completed by a dining room which is open to the kitchen, a cozy living room with a large smart TV to snuggle up in front of and a downstairs bedroom. Upstairs there are two more spacious bedrooms with a Jack n Jill shower bathroom. The second floor master bedroom has its own private porch, perfect for a late afternoon cocktail.

Perfect Spot for a Girls’ Weekend

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. Secluded, and quiet, but still not far from civilization when we needed something. Everything was neat, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again!

We had a wonderful time. What a beautiful house and surrounding scenery. Highly recommend.

We stayed for three nights. The house was cozy and comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the pool as well as walking through the beautiful woods. On the last night we made and enjoyed an outdoor fire around the fire pit. We cannot wait to go back again.

Lovely Oasis

We had such an amazing stay here. The property was pristine and exceeded our expectation. The grounds are well kept and full of wild life. Less than 5 minutes away is the Chatauqua Institute and the fall colors abound. Kitchen is very well stocked and we had such a cozy, comfortable stay.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The cottage was perfect--clean and beautifully decorated in a farmhouse style and the beds were so comfy! We appreciated the note on the smell of the well water so we were prepared for that. Our family loved the attention to detail and thoughtful touches like having coffee and tea at our disposal along with the gracious gift of wine. We had everything we needed for cooking and were able to enjoy a cozy campfire the first night while grilling out the second. It was so close to the Chautauqua Institute that our group was spent a morning walking its grounds, although the woods surrounding the cottage were lovely too--we even spotted several deer in the yard! Thanks for a great stay!

CHQ Heights Manor is an unique and unforgettable property. Her history is fantastic and the soul of the house & cottage haunted me from the moment I saw them. The renovation/restoration has been a labor of love and was not for the faint of heart. Everything that we have chosen was done with the idea of creating a space to accommodate the needs of today’s modern families without loosing the essence of a cottage in the woods and the time past. We look forward to sharing this home with others for a long time to come.
