This peaceful, spacious, fully equipped, 2b/2b beautifully tiled, first level condo, with 2 large furnished verandas is part of a small complex nestled at the end of Sunset Pointe on the Southern most tip of the Placencia Peninsula in Placencia Village. The Caribbean is your backyard; the lagoon and Mayan Mountains beyond to the West; and steps to the saline pool and Seaway in front, wraps this quiet area in over 300 degrees of water views and access.

This property was special. It was very well stocked with everything one could need for a comfortable stay. It was unique in its canal on one side and the sea on the other location. There are various places to get great views like the tower above, the pagota on the sea, the porch on the canal, and the end of the pier. Great pool, comfy beds, responsive hosts, it had it all.

Awesome spot with beautiful views!

This place is located within walking distance to the village and far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The views of both the ocean and the lagoon are amazing and just a great spot to relax.

Perfection in paradise is not an exaggeration! We found the condo to be ideally situated in relation to downtown Placencia, far enough from the noise of the street while not being out of the way. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. The kitchen very well equipped for meal prep and dining in. The front and back verandas were spacious. We enjoyed meals on both while taking in two different vistas of the water and lush vegetation. The host responded quickly and provided great information ahead of our stay. The information binder in the condo listed ideas for activities, and restaurants. All in all, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend this host and Sunset Pointe #1.

Loved our spot at Sunset Pointe. The condo was perfect, the pool was lovely, the grounds beautiful and well maintained. My only small complaint would be the road but that couldn’t be helped.

Sunset Point Oasis

We loved our stay on the point and the condo location is the best. Views of the water on both sides! Easy pickup for fishing and tours steps from the front door. The well stocked/furnished kitchen provided what we needed for preparing our own meals. The owner was super helpful in answering questions, which was very much appreciated. Great stay and recommended.

we couldn't have been more impressed with our stay. The owner of the villa we stayed in was just amazing. Her communication from start to finish was stellar. The villa had everything you could possibly think of. the porches on both sides made for wonderful views. She provided us with a very comprehensive list of things to do in the area, dining, excursions, shopping etc. Highly recommend you use her.

Caribbean Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exceptional. We had 5 adults & 2 children ( ages 9 & 11). We used a twin airbed in the floor of master bedroom for one child. Pool was a hit with the kids. Decks and piers offered a great outdoor space. We watched manatees most of one day from the pier at the back. Cool experience. All in all a perfect place for our spring break.

The Best!

Sunset Pointe is paradise! This is our sixth time to Placencia and we always stay at Sunset Pointe. The location is quiet yet walking distance to town for food and drinks. This condo is clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The unit is situated with amazing views and cross breezes to keep it cool without needing the a/c. We look forward to our next visit, thank you for hosting us

This property is beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect. We enjoyed every part of the property. The pool, pier, kayaking, bicycling and the boat dock. A lot of fishing off that boat dock and searching for manatees. We were very exciting when we saw a couple of manatees! Love Placencia and Sunset Pointe!

Magical stay in Placencia

We liked everything about the layout and amenities in the condo. Wi-Fi can be challenging, but that did not impact our amazing stay. I would suggest a shower curtain for the second bathroom (not the master). We loved the daily dock visits from the caretakers dog.

Thank you Will for choosing Sunset Pointe #1. The WiFi coverage can be spotty due to the re-enforced concrete construction, with best reliably in the main living space and front veranda. We are exploring options to enhance WiFi coverage.

Vacation Placencia

This was a very nice and charming place for 2 couples. If there is only one complaint to be had it would be the access road to the property. Riddled with clay pot holes that take a toll on your re Tal vehicle and your neck. The property itself is very nice and accommodating. We were easily picked up at the dock by our chartered boat that took us to the many Keys in Placencia. I would come back here.

Relaxing and beautiful location

This was our first trip to Belize and we stayed for the first half of the week in Placencia. The location was great - very walkable to restaurants, swimming and shopping. We enjoyed the pool and the rooftop sunsets. Fishing from the dock was a big hit with the kids. Easy to arrange water outings (fishing, Monkey River) with convenient pick up and drop off right out the front door. Very accommodating, helpful and responsive hosts (both the owners and the onsite caretaker). Condo had plenty of room for our family and was well stocked for cooking at home. Would definitely come back!

Great place

The location to the village is perfect and the unit is very nice. Some of the neighbors that own are very helpful and friendly. The guide that was recommended was fantastic and took us fishing and snorkeling at the reef. Don’t forget to stop at Ray cayes for lunch. Pool was great as was the jacuzzi. The property manager Rosa was very accommodating and friendly. Placencia is a great place but remember if you go it is very laid back and it takes a few days to get adjusted. Once you do you don’t want to leave. Thank you for a great visit.

Fabulous Stay-

The condo was better than expected. Well stocked unit. Had everything we needed. Loved the location of the complex. Not only was the unit well maintained and clean, the complex was also very well maintained. We had a car and drove from Belize City which, with the new Coastal Highway, was very easy. While you do not need a car, I found it so much easier to quickly hop in the car to drive to the many very good and close restaurants. The Complex has a nice pool and great sunset views from the 2 docks. There is no beach at the complex, but there are many good beach options close by if you want to relax in the sand. Check in and out was very easy and my adult children loved the resident cat and dog which greeted us every evening when we got home. I would definitely stay here again. Placencia has a great laid-back Caribbean vide, but also has good restaurants and you can get most items at the grocery stores. There are a lot of water activities to engage in from fishing, Caye hopping, snorkeling or scuba diving. An easy day trip is to visit some of the southern Mayan ruins which were really interesting. Also there are some great jungle/mountain hikes within an hour or so of Placencia (Cockscomb Basin Wildlife ) Sanctuary.

Beautiful condo

These condos are so well-built and this one was stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the expansive decks on both sides with totally different views and our kids loved the nice pool.

Amazing, perfect place to stay in Placencia!

Wow, where do we even begin! Sunset Pointe was fabulous, we really enjoyed our weeks stay at the condo! The place was spacious and very clean. The location was very private with easy access to many restaurants and the local area. We felt very safe and enjoyed every minute. The condo is loaded with everything you would need! The staff were welcoming and very helpful!

Watch the sunrise and sunset from your condo.

It was a wonderful location to see both sunrise and sunset from your porches. The check in was fine and the property was wonderful. The beds were a bit firm and the Wi-Fi was very unstable, but I didn't go to Belize to be on my phone. It was great to be picked up for fishing from the pier, it was nice to be close to food. We would rent here again for sure.

Thank you! We are so pleased you enjoyed the extras that our location has to offer. Being surrounded by water has its advantages at Sunset Pointe! The Internet service and equipment was recently upgraded, but we are still challenged by the local service reliability. Inside the condo, we have plans to install a mesh network to improve signal strength through the concrete walls. We look forward to your return!

We honeymooned in Belize. We dreamed of buying a home in Placencia. We researched and just plain searched for years. Our kids have started school at Boise State University. We still have many responsibilities that tie us to Boise, Idaho, but Sunset Pointe #1 is our oasis.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

On our honeymoon, we simply walked to the end of the peninsula, then the end of the road, and there sat Sunset Pointe. We toured it, but nothing was for sale. We checked every option from building to buying a big boat as a home in a slip. We kept coming back to the same two issues: we wanted to be on the water and in the Village. There were limited options in our budget and ultimately, you also needed a caretaker to manage anything in your absence. As absolute destiny, we asked the right person on the right day, and Sunset Pointe had a available unit! It had everything we wanted. It was huge, beautiful, concrete construction. It is literally surrounded by water plus a pool, palapa into the Caribbean, boat slip and in Placencia Village. Exactly what we wanted.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Sunset Pointe is a small private development of only 4 units x 3 buildings. That is 12 owners that are personally invested and love it like we do. It is surrounded by water, on the Caribbean, with pool and boat slip. The caretaker lives on property and is also personally invested in his home. The units are done in Caribbean colors, Mexican tile, local Mahogany. The units are quite large by Belize and beach living standards with 7 sets of French doors opening from every room to water views.
