Paradise at Spinnaker! Semi-Oceanfront Plus Loft!

Welcome in to Spinnaker! Only a short distance from the beach in the peaceful North End of Sandbridge! When you arrive, you’ll enter the first floor family room offering high ceilings and comfortable seating for all around a large flat screen TV and a decorative fireplace. Includes an entertainment area with a high selection of DVD’s, books, and games. This vacation spot is beautifully designed for those seeking a large family getaway.
You will have your own private swimming pool accompanied with a volleyball net and hot tub, all located in the spacious backyard. Various covered decks with gorgeous views of the beach!
1st Floor: 3 full bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 1 king and 3 queens. A mini kitchen is located on the 1st floor as well, including a full size refrigerator, eat-in kitchen table for 6, as well as a washer and dryer plus a pool table!
2nd floor: 2 king bedrooms both with ensuites, one includes a luxurious master bath with jacuzzi style tub. Full kitchen. Large dining room which is filled with a big dining room table to seat your whole family. Large open family room with flat screen TV above fireplace and 1 half bath. Wide deck off the family room with outdoor seating.
3rd floor: 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, 2 bunk bedrooms (2 twin over full bunk bed sets) one bunk set per room, and 1 full size sleeper sofa located in the loft. Access the wide front deck with beautiful ocean and beach views.  2 jack and jill bathrooms shared by two rooms on each side of floor.
Outdoor shower with both a foot wash and shower head for your convenience. 
Beds will be made for you on day of arrival. Pool is available based on weather ranging from mid May through mid September.

Several of the previous reviews submitted were prior to transitioning to our property management company. With that said, we have made several adjustments to each of our properties to ensure the best experience for your stay!

Loved our stay at Paradise at Spinnaker! Was so perfect for our large extended family - we loved staying together and not sacrificing space or beds The walk to the beach is SO short, and we had so much fun with the pool, pool table, and large dining table in the house. Highly recommend!

The house needs new furniture and a new tv in the main living room, wall and handrail painting and landscaping in the backyard. The wall to wall carpeting the bedrooms is old and should be replaced. The location is great just across from the ramp to the beach. Bedrooms are a nice size. The bathrooms are generally a bit small, but the master bath is nice.

Reviewer Comments: First the good.....Great home, Nice space and layout, excellent location!Now the not so great: Initially, the home was not cleaned to our standards, but additional cleaning was offered to remedy the situation.There were some hiccups with the dryer not working (it was replaced) and the furniture being dingy/well used. We rented late September and were told due to being the end of the season it was being replaced....but that didn't help our situation. Overall, loved the house and location. We never rented a "pet friendly" place before and maybe this was a contributing factor.

Very happy with the house had plenty of room for my family ranging in age from 77-4. The house has a great view of the beach and access to the beach is just across the street.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I live in Virginia Beach and have rental Beach houses a dozen or sotimes. The house is very nice. The rooms are spacious. The TV on the 2nd floor where you eat and socialize has very small TV and is not even a tv you can get apps on. Disappointing in such a nice house. The kitchen stove has a knob for the large burner come off and neither the can opener or the egg beaters worked in the kitchen. The house could use a little love but is a very nice house. If I owned it I would put ceiling fans in all the rooms. Overall still a very nice house with a great location. I love Sandbridge in general so a very nice house and location.

Incredible Spring Break Home

We traveled as a Mens and Womens golf team and this property allowed us to have one team spend their time on the first floor and one team spend their time on the 3rd floor with coaches on the 2nd floor! We can only imagine how great this property would be if the pool was open however the hot tub was great! We only wished there was a complimentary hot tub cleaning when you stay 5 days! Otherwise the house is incredible for a big group as we did team dinners at the massive dinner table! Only discrepancy we had was that the listing lists multiple bunk beds per room upstairs and there is only 1 set. So 2 beds not 4!

Family getaway

We had a great experience staying at Spinnaker! The property was great and the location right across the street from the beach was ideal. Had a couple of hiccups but the management team was very responsive. One drawback, with the intense summer blaze, some canopy shade in the backyard by the pool would have been ideal but that was solved with a quick run to Walmart to pick up a table umbrella. Overall, for our party of 22, the property worked out very well, we would look to rebook in the future.

Family Gathering

This large house with direct access to the beautiful beach was perfect for our large family gathering. When we discovered the pool cues were broken and there was no chalk, the host was quick to respond to my message and bring over a bundle of new cues and chalk. It's that kind of attention to the needs of the guests that keeps people wanting to return.

The kitchen could use a few more frying pans there was only 1 large one. The carpet needs replaced on the lower level steps or completely taken out . Having carpet in a rental is not a good idea. I would replace with vinyl flooring through out the entire house. Also the hand railing are very disgusting and dirty the wrong paint was used on them. Even though a few things need addressed in my opinion, I will be renting this house again, this is our 4th. year in a row staying here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week and the home was in a wonderful location. There are things that need improvement and repair. The front of the house, doors, and glass are filthy and the grounds had not been cleaned. There was a dirty diaper dropped inside the gate. Deck boards are loose and popping up and several of us tripped along with getting splinters. The pool was never cleaned mid week (vacuumed) although we did see a van in the driveway. The door for the upstairs beachside deck is nearly impossible to open, so someone may want to check it. The washing machine is leaking so cold water will continue to fill the basin if you don't shut off the water. I am sharing as the owners should be aware.

Okay (good and bad)

Our stay here had good parts and bad. Good: Our group was family of 22 with mix of adults, kids, and babies. The amount of space for us was great. Check in was easy. Communication with property manager was fast. Happy to bring our dogs. Location was perfect right across from the beach.Bad: we had asked if the pool would be open for our stay and we were first told yes, but after following up, was told no. The hot tub was dirty and not from us. When I told the manager they sent someone out within minutes to clean and charged us 120 for that service. When we went to use it again, it was still dirty. Probably from whatever cleaner tube in there. The house itself is outdated and dirty. There was a cockroach in the kitchen, hair from previous stay in the shower, and one of the beds my family was staying in was itchy. The only reason I didnt communicate all of this with owner was fear of being charged for their lack of cleanliness.Overall the stay was ok. The house did what it needed to do, but the lack of cleanliness made it uncomfortable to want to be there. If there were updates and better cleaning, I would stay again, but as is, most likely not.

A Great House, Our Group Had So Much Fun!

When we arrived we were blown away by the size of the house, especially how many bedrooms and bathrooms there are! The hot tub was awesome, there are TWO kitchens, and the beds (mine at least) were really comfortable. We wished they could have provided dishwasher pods and a few other basics, but they did provide us a ton of clean towels, toilet paper, and some beach supplies! Also, the kitchen was really well stocked with all the things we needed to cook all of our meals :) Also, the house could not be closer to the beach... the walkway is literally next to the driveway; we didn't even have to put our shoes on because the sand is like 20 steps from the house. What else... ummm, oh, the TVs had Rokus, which was cool, so we could easily watch movies & sports (there was cable too)... I had some trouble getting the one in my bedroom to work properly, but that was okay, it kept me from being anti-social, haha. Overall, our group had a really great time. Anytime we needed anything or had a question, the owner was really responsive, helpful and polite! I would 100% recommend this house to anyone, especially a large group who is coming to Sandbridge for the beach, a hot tub, a comfortable living room and bedroom, and just generally a great time!! Thank you to the owner, keep up the great work!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Sandbridge. We had 22 people which fit comfortably in the Spinnaker Semi-Oceanfront home. The location was perfect!, right across the street from the (no steps) beach access!. We had unobstructed views of the ocean. We only had on issue with the kitchen faucet which was fixed quickly. We were notified before our arrival that the hot tub was broken. It was fixed during our stay so we got to enjoy that for the second half of the week.The kitchen could use some extra supplies, for a house that accommodates up to 24 people, there could be more silverware (forks), plates, mugs and the cookware could be expanded also.Overall, it was a great house and we had a memorable vacation week. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to Sandbridge or the Spinnaker house. Unfortunately, Ocean Sands Realty does not give current renters the option to rebook the following year, this house is already booked for next year before we even left. ;((In our past experience, the current renters had until the day after checkout to rebook or hold for the same week the following year. )
