Enjoy your stay at this beautiful refurbished, family owned, country home originally built in 1922. The home has three bedrooms, two baths, relaxing living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and two dining areas. The home comes with satellite tv, wi-fi, two porches, one open to the air and one screened with air conditioning, dishwasher, washer and dryer, numerous large shade trees and a large fenced yard. Also located outside is a free standing patio with charcoal bar-b-que pit, fire pit and picnic table.

This home is located on Loop 290 with easy access to whatever activity you may select: Downtown (3.5 miles), Bluebell Creamery (2.8 miles), Chappell Hill (7.5 miles), Round Top (26.0 miles), and Somerville (20.0 miles).

The house is charming and family friendly. The host was quick to answer my questions and was very accommodating. The snacks and ice cream that were waiting for us was a nice surprise. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Excellent location for our needs. Loved the old farm house and host went above and beyond with snacks and bluebell ice cream. It could use a good cleaning, but still was not bad. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great old farmhouse with a lot of charm and some very nice touches from the host that made our family feel right at home. The house sits up on a hill with great views out the back. It does have a busy highway down the hill in front of the house, so you’ll get some highway noise but we used a white noise machine at night in the front room and had zero issues sleeping. We would definitely stay here again when in the Brenham area.

Beautiful home

Our stay was incredible. The house is so cute and the view of the next door pasture with the cows made the perfect evening sitting outside. Jean is a wonderful host! I’m already planning my next stay and making sure I book this house.

Great Little House on the Hill

If you are looking to get out of town for a nice relaxing country weekend, this is the house for you! The owners communicated very well with any questions. The house was very clean and spacious for an old farmhouse! The view from the back patio was amazing!

Bright and cheery

The house is newly renovated, bright, clean and has a comfortable living area. It was even decorated for Thanksgiving. The owner was very hospitable and even left Blue Bell ice cream in the freezer for us. I would definitely rent this home in the future.

By far the most welcoming feeling from the moment you walk in the door. Windy Hill Ranch has everything you would expect and so much more to make you feel at home. Easy to see the TLC that was put into the restoration of this grand old farm house. Perfect location to explore the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail from.

A blessing

My family needed a place to grieve together after the burial of my grandfather. (Most of us live out of state.). We felt loved from the moment we walked in the door. It was nicely decorated for Easter and was very inviting. The snacks and ice cream were exactly what we needed when we arrived after an 8 hour trip. I will cherish the memory of my college age twins playing basketball and croquet in the yard. I can't speak highly enough about the property owners and our experience. Thank you for hosting!

Just wonderful!

This place is picture perfect! A charming farmhouse with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the patio and even had the cows come up to the fence. The view was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Calm and Welcoming

The house is extremely clean and inviting. Jean is a wonderful host. They had snacks for us. Plenty of towels. Pillows. And all the things you would need to make your stay comfortable. Downtown is just. Few minutes away and you're far enough to get a nice view of some rolling hills and a few cows. We had a great weekend.
