Nestled down among the pines, this enchanting A-Frame sits on the bank of the Saint Vrain river. Located in the Roosevelt National Forest, 11 miles up the most beautiful canyon, just past Lyons. Popular attractions such as Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Boulder, and Nederland are just a short drive away.

The home features two sleeping corridors upstairs- a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a top balcony overlooking the river. The adjoining room has two twin beds. The downstairs living room is centered around a cozy fire place and is equipped with a television, books, and games for rainy days. Full bath with an oversized clawfoot tub and shower combo. Modern kitchen supplied with all the creature comforts from home and a full size dinning table. Outdoor patio with a gas grill and ample amount of seating.

The A-Frame is a truly unique place to stay. Retro and cozy on the beautiful St. Vrain River. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It's about 12 miles outside Lyons so be prepared.

The cabin was very peaceful. Listening to the river all day and night was so relaxing. Cabin was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed our time there. Sad we didn’t see any wildlife.

We loved sitting out on the porch and listening to the water rush by. Beds were super comfortable. Beautiful area. Quick drive to Estes Park/RMNP. Would stay again. WiFi is good but be aware no cell service.

PERFECT LOCATION for our stay for our son’s wedding at Wild Basin Lodge. Close to Estes Park, Brainard, Lyons, Longmont and Boulder for all of our wedding events and errands.The Riverfront at the cabin was AMAZING!!!!Cabin furnishings were well thought out.SO MANY wildflowers on the property!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous property. We loved sitting by the river and having coffee on the upper deck. The guys loved that they could fish in the river first thing in the morning, and I loved sitting on the yoga deck, listening to the river while reading. Great vacation! We hope you be back next year!

Overpriced considering the place is outdated and property is not well maintained. You access the house from a shared driveway and the house next door looks like an abandoned property (although it is occupied). The A Frame outdoor deck/porch and balcony are badly weathered. Outdoor furniture is stained and falling apart. Outdoor grill wasn't safe to use. Indoor space is HOT in summer months during the day and although temps drop at night there are no screens on key windows and doors to allow for cross ventilation. If you leave them open you will have moths, nats, flies, spiders and chipmunks inside. There's an awful smell in the bathroom. Owner says it might be from gas for hot water heater. Very unpleasant. On the plus side, it's a great location deep in the mountains alongside a lovely accessible river. There's a functioning kitchen and bathroom with all the essentials provided. Beds were comfortable, but the two twins are really meant for younger children. There's one smart TV and good Wi-Fi, and two fans. The local market is very expensive, the local grocery store or Walmart is about 30 minutes away. If you decide to stay here, buy temporary screens (Amazon) and extra travel fans.

Beautiful little cabin! Wonderful yoga platform, and listening to the river was heavenly. A little closer to neighbors than anticipated, but wonderful nonetheless

Comfortable cabin on the river

The cabin is just as the hosts describe in the listing. The house is clean and comfortable and the available games are appreciated. The river access was nicely done too.

Wonderful Place

Beautiful properly in a perfect spot to explore all that the RMNP has to offer! The property was convenient, clean, and had all that you need for a comfortable & affordable stay. My favorite experiance was coffee on the deck watching wildlife and listening to the river. I would highly recommend.

Amazing.

The cabin was extremely clean and cozy. You can hear the river from the master bedroom making for an amazing night of sleep. This is the perfect place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. Estes Park is a very scenic 30 minute drive away and gives you access to everything you would need.

This cabin was awesome! Super cozy, beautiful drive, wonderful scenery. Close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. A perfect little get away spot in my opinion. the owners were great, our wifi went down part way through the trip and I had to reach out to them. They were very responsive and got a solution for us quickly.

Magical

Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven. The rocky, burbling creek is the selling point of this property. We spent most of our free time on the patio next to the water. The communication from the hosts is excellent with very clear instructions, The home has everything you need and we were comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

We both grew up in Minnesota, but for the past 15 years have called Colorado home. Tyler is an architect by day and artist by night. I am a stay-at-home mom and yoga teacher. We love the life we have created in Denver, but leaving the city to retreat to the river is a must. We wish to raise our sweet boy in the wild as much as possible.

Coming into relationship with this property has been the greatest gift. We wish to share this gift with you.

Driving into the canyon and I can feel my stress melt away. The cliffs are so big and suddenly my problems so small. The riverside community is quaint and the river road quiet. Pulling up and seeing the poppies, my heart begins to sing. The evergreens feel like a warm hug as I walk towards the rushing river. I can breathe. I sit on the edge, admiring the structure of the bank and of the obstacles of rocks through which the water flows. So many paths, yet only one direction; in and through. A hummingbird keeps close by. I haven't been home in quite some time. It feels good to be home.
