My sisters and I thought the house was just perfect. The kitchen and bathrooms seemed like brand new. We sat outside every morning and evening and the view at sunset is gorgeous. We hated to leave and hope that we can return someday. Joan was gracious and helpful, especially after we left a coat behind and she kindly agreed to mail it to us.

Wonderful Place to Stay in Sedona

This was our second time staying here. The location is perfect. Close to the main road but far enough away that the only noise is the birds chirping. A wonderful view from the backyard. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Joan was very responsive and if you're looking for a place to stay in Sedona this is certainly a first choice.

Best place we have ever stayed!

This house was fabulous. Close to hikes but away from the hustle and bustle. View from the backyard was amazing! Could walk to Layla's bakery and Sedona Beer Co Basecamp. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for families

We enjoyed our stay at Thunder mountain retreat! It’s a great location for exploring Sedona with West Sedona being the best side to stay on and being close to everything (grocery store, restaurants, hiking). The home was comfortable to stay in and had all the things we needed and more.

Best vrbo experience to date!

After saving for my wife’s 50th trip to Sedona, I had the nerve racking “place” hunt to tackle. My wife is extremely picky and I wanted to make sure I didn’t let her down. We both love Sedona but sometimes the place you stay makes it even better. Well let’s say when we pulled on the road to the property we were blown away by the amazing site in front of us. And then we came to the house.wgen I shifted the gear into park and looked over at my wife with the most warm and loving smile. I know I did my homework well! And Joan the owner did her homework with this property. It was so much more than we could have imagined. So well equipped.stunning view from multiple outdoor patios,and a feeling like you are home.Joan was ezbreezy to work with.also and was most hospitable. Now the question how is my wife going to top this for my 50th?😎

Beautiful getaway

Our stay was fantastic! The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location that feels a world away while only being a short walk/drive to coffee, restaurants, hikes, etc. There are so many birds visiting the yard, we saw cardinals, quail, house finch, spotted towee, coopers hawk, gold finch, and more just hanging around in the back yard! The house was clean and comfortable, and it was the most well equipped rental home we've ever stayed in. The host is friendly and access was smooth and easy. We're hoping to return some day!

Loved staying here. Great view from the back of the house. Very comfortable and well appointed. Close to hiking areas..Liked being able to park in the garage because it rained briefly during our stay. If you are going to Sedona definitely stay here. Thanks

Perfect

We had a great stay here with our family of four. It was beautiful, quiet, clean, well stocked. Our kids loved the games and toys and loved finding pine cones in the backyard while we gazed up at the mountain. It had all the comforts of home and more. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect! Close to everything but out of the hustle and bustle so it was quiet at night.

We really enjoyed this house. The location was perfect. We felt we were in a secluded area but were a couple blocks from everything. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. It was comfortable & clean.

Perfect in Every Way!

We just returned from a three week stay at Sedona Thunder Mountain Retreat. It met our needs in every way. Often when we stay at a rental property I have a long list of "if only they had..." That was not the case here! House was super clean and close to everything. We hope to come back in the future.

Travel with old friends

Stayed here for a reunion trip with roommates from my college days. The house was perfect - from high quality applicances, cookware etc. to lots of beautiful art on the walls. Location in West Sedona is a few miles away from the busy Uptown section, but right near Layla's Bakery. Lovely view from the patio in the back. Joan is a very helpful and responsive host. I highly recommend this property!

Sedona Gem

This property is in an excellent location, very quiet and peaceful. It is fully equipped to a very high standard, complete with a double garage for our rental car. The view from the back yard is spectacular. We truly felt like guests in someone's home.

Great House with fabulous views

We have stayed in this home twice now and we love it. The views and the privacy is absolutely wonderful. The home itself is beautiful. It has everything you need, a two car garage, a fabulous yard with patio. Big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and front room. Everything you will need is in this home.

Special place!

Do not hesitate to rent this property. It is absolutely Beautiful ,comfortable and very well stocked. The backyard is paradise with the views of the red rock and the proximity to hiking. We enjoyed Chimney Rock and the various trails there so much. Very close to restaurants, grocery stores, downtown Sedona ..but yet very quiet! We saw all kinds of wildlife in the backyard and we just really enjoyed this place so much.

Roadrunner Retreat

Home as advertised. Actually, it was better. Everything you need for your stay plus quiet end of street privacy. Lots of wildlife rewards sitting on one of the patios. We had a family group of Javelina (8 adults and 6 babies) parade by as a farewell salute.
