Len, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay & while the home is not perfect by any means, your expectations & complaints you sent to me separately did not align with someone that has ever stayed in a rural/lake home. Bird poop, cob webs, bugs, & leaves on the exterior are normal as you are in nature & in a wooded area. The coolers are there as a courtesy to use, but are not really a part of the home. The deck has peeling paint, yes but is the same in the photos as we have not replaced it yet as we intend to do. We have done several improvements to the home since purchasing it, but it is a lake house. It is rural & rustic. We are a cabin style, not a mini mansion. Please align your expectation with the locations you visit. We hope you opt for a more suitable rental in the future, but it won't be with us.

Since your stay, we have ripped out part of the ceiling and installed new boards, as well as painted. We got all new exterior furniture and have two new recliners coming tomorrow. As for the rust, I do apologize as no one made us aware of it & will replace the items. Every season, we try to update fixtures/items around the house. We’ve done a lot since purchasing the home, but there always is more to do. We hope that you come back in the future to see the improvements we are in the middle of making.

Thank you so much Daniela! We are always trying to better the property. We just got new furniture for the outside this year. We do have intentions of a new deck & staircase, as well as some upgraded landscaping. It just takes time, but we will get there. We're so happy you had a nice time & are ready for whenever you want to visit again!

We apologize for this experience. We have vendors in place that assist us with some items & it appears they have let us down. Thank you for the honest review so we can address & improve.

Hey Michael, thank you so much for the review and constructive criticism. The items left on the deck are coolers, which we leave for guest use. Regarding the grill, it is a griddle, which sometimes has a different appearance. We do get that comment here and there unfortunately. Our cleaning crew cleans it every time they’re at the property. We have told our landscaper to cut more frequently, so I do apologize about that. Unfortunately, the large quantities of rain that we have received make it a little bit difficult to schedule and keep up with because of the constant schedule changes due to the weather. As for the supplies, those items are not something that we provide which are in the documents that we send to every guest. We hope this does not deter you from booking in the future and hope to see you back. Have a wonderful summer!
