Welcome to Hideaway At The Lake! This 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home is located at Lake Wallenpaupack. This lake front home will make you feel right at home & is the perfect destination to kick up your feet & wind down. It features an open layout with multiple living spaces, deck, large private dock, & a firepit. This house is close to the public boat launch, grocery store, shopping and charming restaurants. We hope you love it here as much as we do! *Our boat is parked in the dock, but additional cleats are installed on the sides for anyone bringing theirs. Exterior cameras & a sound monitor are installed & in use & should not be touched by guests. ***Per HOA rules, you can park 4 cars at the home. Trailers count as a car. Trailers over 17 feet long count as 2 cars. Fines are $1,000+ if this rule is broken & will be passed on to guests.***

Amanda was a amazing at the communication and was very kind during the booking and planning process. Location was amazing!!! We woke up everyday and admired the lake view. Lots of nature to see.. The home was comfortable. The bed was nice and comfy. You had everything for the most part. The outside area needs some attention but it was all in all a comfortable stay. I would definitely book it again. Just needs some tlc outside.

Location is great. Interior shows a lot of wear and tear. Rusty toaster, grill and appliances. We swept & cleaned the front & back yards and deck before the rest of our family arrived.

great location

We had a great time! The house was clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Plenty of firewood for the pit as well! Loved being right on the lake and having access to the kayaks. Would definitely recommend!

Great house, beautiful location.

Had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse. Along with the beautiful view, this great house came full stocked with blankets, pillows, towels, crayons, markers, and plenty of toys and games including cards and poker chips. Had a great weekend with family here.

Fall Family Getaway

We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we felt at home. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Even though it was chilly we enjoyed some time on the lake in kayaks.

Beautiful Lakefront Location

This house was perfect for our family! We spent most days having fun swimming and fishing off the dock. The open layout in the house was great for family gatherings and the view of the lake was beautiful! We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back!

Beautiful house with a wonderful view of the lake.

House was wonderful and clean, we were left a wonderful bottle of wine. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. Definitely would love to rent this property again. Being there brought back wonderful memories for my husband and sister who visited the Lake many times when they were young with their Grandmother.

Great location and interior, with some glitches.

The lake views and dock were beautiful — our family loved swimming, boating, and relaxing by the water. The house itself was spacious and clean.However, for a Superhost listing at this price, we expected a bit more. The outdoor space was messy (unclean grill, random items on the deck, overgrown grass, and even possible poison ivy coming out of the deck steps). Inside, basic supplies like garbage bags, hand soap, and laundry detergent were missing.

Could not have been better.

The owner of this property should be teaching people how to do a rental the right way. Everything was ready for us and then some. Owner was very accessible. Highly recommend.

Day on lake

Wonderful home, wonderful location! Everything at your fingertips for a perfect weekend getaway at the lake. Beds were comfy. Wood stove came in handy and made the home cozy. Just be sure to bring your own toilet paper/paper towels. There is a store very close by to purchase any items that you would need.

Wonderful house!

We had so much fun on our mini vacation! The house was so clean and stocked with everything we needed! This is the first time staying somewhere that had amazing beds!!! The deck was so nice to sit out and watch some of the boats go by even though the weather was a little chilly. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Great time in the lake house!

The house is large and clean. In the house we found everything we needed for our stay. The dock was very convenient for the boat and also for swimming in the lake. The location of the house on the lake is very special and the views are beautiful. We really enjoyed our time in the house and on the lake. Thank you!

Comfortable waterfront home

Very quiet neighborhood home with easy access to lake. Enjoyed being able to sit on the dock while the family/kids swam and took the kayaks out. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Living room and fire pit area easily accommodated our family of eight for sharing fun evenings together. Saw a shooting star and eagles from the dock!

Great getaway weekend!!

Amanda answered all my questions that I had. She was awesome. The house and it’s location was awesome too. Kitchen had everything we needed. A great variety of toys for the baby that she loved playing with. Fire pit was a great place to hang out. Definitely will be back.

Great location

Overall we had a great trip. Location was great and views spectacular. The house was not worth the money in our opinion as we had some issues with the appliances and cleanliness but the host was quick to respond and make right. Don’t let these issues stop you though as I know a lot of what we ran into can be chalked up to end of season wear and tear

Perfect location

The house was in the perfect location. Love the size of the house. The dock was amazing and we were able to rent our own pontoon boat for thr week. The only issues were that it smelled like dog a little when you walked in. It was pet friendly and didn’t know so my son broke out a bit. The outdoor furniture was old and unusable. Glad we brought our own chairs. Was an easy check in process and owner got back to us quickly. Had a wonderful time with my family.

Fantastic House, Perfect Location

Hideaway is an amazing property in a perfect location. The house is located less than five minutes from the grocery store and less than ten minutes from multiple bars and restaurants. The living room and dining room comfortably fit our group of six and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials (and more!). The back deck offers a beautiful view of the lake and there was plenty of seating down by the dock. Amanda was extremely responsive and quick to respond to any questions we had. This is a great property. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great time!

Communication with our host was prompt and helpful. The check in process was easy and there was a book of info about the house and the surrounding area which we did use. We did like the house and it suited our needs. The main living room area was really nice and clean and was a great area for everyone to hang. However some areas of the house were worn and needed a little love like the bathroom downstairs and the kitchen cabinets We really enjoyed the kayaks and deck area too. The neighbors were very quiet as well. All in all a very good stay!

A cute property on the lake

The rental process was seamless. The inside of the house was fairly well kept and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the silverware/pots/pans you could want. The dock was very well maintained and it was nice that they had 2 kayaks there to use. Unfortunately the rest of the outside was not well maintained- and it goes just beyond pollen and normal outdoor wear. The cushions on the chairs on the deck are ripped with parts missing. Multiple of the stairs were broken and I was grateful my kids were older and could navigate them but would be worried with small children. We could not get one of the grills to work but the other one worked well. Overall it was good for a long weekend and would consider renting again if there was a sale but not sure it would be our first choice.

We fell in love when we walked in & saw the expansive windows in the living room. The open concept works very well when hosting & the number of people that are able to enjoy the home at once is convenient. The home has a beautiful dock where you can pull up your boat, use to fish, or just hang out on. The setting is serene, yet very close to amenities, restaurants, & the boat launch. This home really has it all!
