Spectacular Bras d’Or view, 1 bedroom suites w/ full kitchen

We just finished construction on these contemporary 1 bedroom, 1 bath suites, 2021 is our first season. Each unit has a full kitchen with a dining bar, and a large 200 sq. ft. deck, offering spectacular views of the Bras d'Or Lake. Large sliding glass doors and oversized windows make these cozy suites bright and airy. Many of the furnishings were custom built in our woodshop. We are only a short walk to the popular Frolic and Folk Pub & Restaurant for great dining and live entertainment. Across from the Pub, visit the Highland Village, a Gaelic living history museum and cultural center. Sun and swim on one of the many beaches within a few minutes of Hector's Point. Centrally located on Cape Breton Island, there are many attractions close enough for a day trips, including Baddeck, The Fort of Louisburg, Eskasoni & Whycocogamah cultural Centers, Bird Island Boat Tours, & Sydney.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, scenic location. It's truly a place for quiet relaxation. The property was clean and comfortable with beautiful lake views. And it's the only property we've ever stayed at with "eagle food" available to anyone who's interested in feeding the eagles perched in nearby trees.

Friendly hosts. Beautiful waterfront views with gorgeous sunsets. Enjoyed watching bald eagles with my morning coffee. Suites are comfortable, clean and practical.Remote but quality grocery store a short drive away.

Astonishingly perfect

This place is truly a gem. We travel alot and stay in alot of rentals, and this one perhaps has been our favorite. Everything is so well thought out. It is comfortable, cozy, had everything you need, quiet and the view is spectacular.

Absolutely amazing!

Hector's Point cabins did not disappoint. The views and the wildlife were stunning!! The location is central to the entire island. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities plus some! Janet and Rob were amazing hosts, super friendly and readily available if anything was needed. We definitely reccomend this place for an amazing experience!

First Class rental in every detail

Great stay in this well equipped, well-stocked rental. Stunning views of the lake from a great deck. Quiet, super clean & comfortable! Location worked well for our trips to the Cabot Trail. Hosts were friendly & helpful. Kudos to a 1st-class operation.

Amazing water views and spotless cabin

This was the first stop of our 10 day tour of Nova Scotia. We were spoiled. We enjoyed the wildlife and views from the deck. Host was very kind and cabin had everything we needed. Absolutely spotless and so organized. Hope to return one day.

Very comfortable cabin with a spectacular view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable cabin, which has everything needed for a happy vacation. The host clearly cares about the property and the well-being of her guests. Little touches such as the lovely flower box outside the door are a testament to this. In addition, the view from the deck is truly spectacular. This is a place to enjoy peace and beautiful nature. We warmly recommend this holiday rental.

Fabulous spot

We had a great stay beautiful clean cottage! Hosts were terrific and we got to feed Eagles and watch them swoop down and grab the food. It was an awesome sight!!! We would definitely stay here again and plan to and would highly recommend it to people looking for a relaxing get away. Lovely views and lots of scenic spots to visit. We walked a beach not far from the cottage daily first thing in the morning with the dog. Then we set off exploring daily. Highly recommend!!!

Wunderbares kleines Appartement

Die drei Appartements nahe Iona sind ziemlich neu. Es wird ein Wohnraum mit offener Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer geboten. Dazu eine Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den See. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, Sachen zu waschen/trocknen. Parkplatz vorhanden. Die Küche ist relativ gut ausgestattet (kein Geschirrspüler). Streamingdienste werden angeboten. Das Bett könnte für zwei Personen größer sein. Trotz naheliegender Straße sehr ruhig.Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war bestens. Man kann hier Adler beobachten und sogar mit Fischen füttern. Kolibris besuchen die Wassertränke auf der Terrasse Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, es war ein toller Aufenthalt.
