Peaceful Getaway in the Heart of Atwater Village

Enjoy your own beautiful secluded space, just a 1 1/2 blocks away from the main strip with all the trendy shops, bars, and restaurants of Atwater Village. Come relax on the spacious outdoor patio amongst the bamboo, grill up some dinner, or geek out with your own private movie theater inside with the 120" projection screen and surround sound system. The whole house is filled with natural light, and there are sun shades and blackout shades on all the main room windows and doors.

You enter the property through the front yard, walk down a private path to a locked gate that opens to your own private house and patio. There's always plenty of street parking available. The kitchen is fully stocked, and has a hot plate and convection countertop oven that can fit a full sized frozen pizza.

The wifi is 1,000 mpbs, so super fast for all of your interneting needs.

The right two cabinets in the main room are owner's cabinets and not available for use, but the left two have plenty of space for you to hang clothes or store whatever you need, and there's also a small dresser in the middle.

3 night stay

Jesse's back house was a perfect stay, warm and cozy. Perfect for movies nights, walkable distance to Atwater Village for local coffee, pizza and other delicous options. We will definitely stay here again, thank you Jesse.

Happy holiday

We were visiting family for the holidays and have rented several other spaces. By far, this was our best experience. The home was spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Street parking was never a problem and we could walk to Atwater Village. We hope to book again in March and May

A Pleasant Stay

It's a quiet neighborhood with easy parking available on the street. The stores and restaurants are five to ten minutes walking distance. The kitchen was fully equipped. Jesse was very friendly and responsive to our texts. We enjoyed our one week stay from April 3rd to the 10th and would consider returning.

Quiet secluded gem in a perfect location.

Our son recommended this neighborhood for it's quiet, friendly and safe location. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Close to Silver Lake and other charming neighborhoods in LA. The Property is bright, well furnished, and on a private property. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding cosy. Everything was spotless and well appointed. The kitchen is well equipped, but only has one burner that makes cooking a little limited, which was not an issue for us. There is a lovely patio that we were not able to utilize because of cold weather, but is definitely a bonus. The communication with Jesse was flawless. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Hi Ron, I'm sorry you didn't find the microwave, it was in the cabinet above the fridge (this location is also noted in the house guide). I would happily have let you know where it was and also provided you with tissues had I known, sorry!

Delightful getaway -- especially for movie lovers

My partner and I have the tradition of watching our favorite movies at home on New Year's eve to ring in the new year. Because we knew we needed to be in LA to help our son move, we were afraid we'd miss out. In a generous gift from the universe -- this spot showed up on VRBO. We loved the sound and projection system (as well as the rest of the place, which was clea, full of everything we needed, and visually unique). Also, the host was very communicative in response to our needs, and not more than needed. It was just perfect. We hope to return our next time in LA! A gem.

Not bad!

Beware of the path leading to the back house as it is impossible to roll any luggage back there. Safe neighbourhood and extremely comfy bed but owner should be more diligent in checking over the apartment before guests come as several remote batteries were dead and only one wash cloth provided, no Kleenex boxes. It is very cold at night and there are only 2 small space heaters that will shut the power off if used with certain plugs. The projector is a great plus and we really enjoyed using the patio!

Quiet, quaint, comfortable

Jesse’s place is really comfortable and great. We loved using the projector and the space is really beautiful. Atwater is also a really underrated neighborhood too - lots of great options.

Comfortable, convenient and spacious rental

My wife and I stayed in this rental for two weeks in February, 2022. The unit is located on a quiet residential street in Atwater Village behind a main front house and there is ample on street parking. Access to the accommodation is by a narrow gravel and paver path along side of the main house, which is illuminated at night by numerous path lights. The composition of the path and narrowness makes pulling along rolling luggage here very difficult and we hand carried the bags in and out, since the small lights illuminating the path could easily be damaged by the bags and the bags did not roll smoothly. To gain access there are three combination locks, one at the front gate, one at a second smaller gate at the rear of the house and finally an electronic lock on the door. These locks increase security but at times were difficult to navigate especially at night and it takes a little practice to use them easily. The space of the unit is very good and it is quiet at night. The queen bed is located in a corner of the living area and access is difficult for the person sleeping next to the wall. Built in cabinets are great for clothing storage. Internet access is very good and the Roku TV is very easy to use. There is no central heating but small space heaters warm the space adequately on chilly mornings. The owner is very responsive to concerns . Overall we found this rental comfortable, convenient and would return again.
