Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Enjoy a large yard with a firepit, minutes from Lake McConaughy. This large lake is known for its world class sandy beaches where people enjoy fishing and recreational water activities.
Same day bookings are allowed but please allow at least 4 hours before arrival. 
This house has a large front yard with beautiful large trees.  The back yard is fully fenced this is a pet friendly place.  At night enjoy a camp fire in a large firepit, complementary fire wood included.  Grill out during the day on the outdoor grill. 
The summer is great for recreational (boating, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding ect) uses at the lake, in the winter hunting is well known for the area.  In the spring sand hill crane and other bird watching experiences is within walking distance.   
Enjoy walking to the Main Street of Lewellen, it is very charming. The Free Pool and community park is across the street. The North Platte River is a short 7 minute walk away, enjoy fishing or bird watching this is a perfect place to do both.
We believe the cleaning fee is the price of the stay, we also do not charge per person.  We can't wait to host you!
Enjoy a modern Nebraska feel with popular live edge bar tops and wood burning indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. It's time for s'mores!

We used the VRBO as home base for two family dinners. The house with its amenties were essential.

This is the second year we have used the property and (fortune pending), not the last. The property owners (Stevie and Brandon) are delightful, the home is clean, equipped with appliances and air conditioned. There is lots of hot water for showers that renew and refresh. The little ones and us sr. souls appreciate the house (223) on church street. It I knew when we were doing this next year (2024 Lake Mac reuion) - I'd book it now. It has been 'sufficient for our needs.'

Clean, warm, very comfortable. The kitchen has all the cooking accessories need. The house is in a great location for our outdoor activities.

Excellent stay

We had a great stay at this house. The listing description and the pictures are accurate. Plenty of room, comfy beds, lots of pillows, well-stocked kitchen, and a fully fenced back yard for our dog. Stevey responded quickly to our questions, and we didn't have any problems. Lots of little things made our stay easy, like charging stations on the night stands and a spice rack in the kitchen. Travelers should be aware of the stairs to the front door (as pictured), and the back stairs are a little steep but not bad. Fantastic overall, and would definitely stay there again.

Good Stay

I try to get to Lewellen every couple of years to visit some childhood friends and was glad I had the opportunity to bring my dogs with me this time. House was clean and had everything we needed. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the yard needs some major tlc. Lots of stickers and debris from the trees in the backyard.

Great stay

We had a great stay! After spending our days at the lake, this was a nice place to come home to for some down time. The house was clean and provided many convenience items. We would definitely love to stay again in the future.

good memories

clean, comfortable, covenient (for us) to the lake, safeway and walmart. So nice to have a location (with lots of room) with a shower, refrigerators, yard for smores, grill and location to regenerate every night. the kids loved the entertainment set up. I grew up in a railroad town and so enjoyed the train. I felt like I was kid again listening to the mournful mutter of the tracks. Took me back.............. The window air conditioners were perfect and room specific. Good Memories; we will be back sometime to leave footprints in the sand. Thank you so much. Regards, Dean and Susan M.

Great stay!

Great stay. We accidentally locked ourselves out and he got right back to us so we could get in. Plenty of soap, shampoo, condiments, 2 fridge/freezers. Coffee pot with coffee and creamers! We made all of our meals there. Was super clean! The kids loved the free pool right across the way. Perfect for our family with kids!! Will stay there again. Lake was close too to go to the beach!!

Vacation

The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed the screened porch at night. There was just not a lot of amenities near by like a grocery store. But if you're looking for a quiet, country escape you've found it. My dog also enjoyed the fenced back yard!

Great place

Our family had a great stay. Property was clean and full of family fun including a basketball game and board games. The firepit and back yard were nice as well. Lake mac and Ogallala were close for day activities. The park across the street was also great to have so close. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Location

The property was perfect for our bird watching visit to Lewellen. The house was clean and provided all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. Best was the location: only 1/2 mile to the old bridge where we were able to enjoy migrating cranes sunrise to sunset without the throngs of people associated with North Platte and Kearney We will definitely plan another visit next spring!

We had a great stay at this property. The owner is still fixing it up, but don't be scared away by that. The upstairs is fully done and very acceptable. Easy access to Highway 26 would make it great if you were using it to stay at for Lake Mcconaughy or hunting. Owner was great and communicated extremely well. Definitely will stay again if the need arises.

Great quiet town

We had a great time! Roomy and clean house in a very quiet town, but still close enough to stores if needed. Renter was very fast at responding to questions and letting us know the info for the house.

I fell in love with Lewellen Nebraska in 2018 and decided I would love to live here. This property has an old time charm with an update feel. The upstairs is newly updated as of 2021.

This home has a welcoming feel as you walk into a live edge bar top that leads into the rest of the house. The outdoor firepit and screened room are inviting for outdoor activities.
