Small/quaint lakefront cottage on Round Lake in Laingsburg. Close to Lakeview Banquet Center, Peacock Farms and Bear Creek Farms. Perfect for wedding guests or wedding party. Close to three excellent golf courses, Eagle Eye and Hawk Hollow in East Lansing and The Emerald in St. Johns. Round Lake is an all sports lake, great fishing, bring your boat, boat launch next door. BBQ grill, fire pit, 2 kayaks, paddle boat, fully stocked kitchen. A sunset every night. Relax and enjoy without traveling up North for a vacation. Event weekend

My daughter got married and utilized the Lakeview Banquet Center on Round Lake. We are from the Detroit area and needed accommodations near the venue and this cottage was perfect!! It was beautiful, quiet, clean and so convenient for our activities for the weekend. My husband and I were definitely discussing coming back for a getaway in the future. The hosts really make you feel welcome and definitely thought of lots of small touches.

Short getaway

Nice house on a very cute, fun lake. Quiet and relaxing with plenty to do and close to so many other activities. We really enjoyed the stay and local golfing!

Refreshing weekend!

We had a girls trip here and absolutely loved it. The cottage is adorable and has everything you need for a weekend stay. The views were great and the neighborhood nice and peaceful. We enjoyed a nice bonfire and a great refreshing weekend!

A relaxing cozy cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a peaceful atmosphere. The lake sunsets were breathtaking. The cottage was very clean and had everything you need. The owners Judy and Doug were very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this cozy cottage.

Loved the cottage, so cute, clean and well organized. Nicely decorated. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy the lake. Close proximity to the lake. Lake and neighborhood was very calm and peaceful. Host and hostess were very thoughtful and accessible.

Relaxing get away

We had a great time at the cottage. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed a couple beautiful sunsets! The swimming and fishing we good too! We also found a few live clams, which was pretty neat! Judy and Doug are great hosts, very friendly and always helpful.

Beautiful, quiet lake side cabin

The cabin & property are beautiful! We worked for here & it was perfect. The cabin has eveything you could possibly need. The view of the lake is amazing & sunset right across the lake. The property owners are so sweet & have put a lot of care & thought into the property. We had a wonderful time & would recommend this adorable cabin to anyone!

Wedding reception stay!

We were visiting family for a wedding reception on this wonderful lake property. We used the kayaks and paddle boat to go across the lake to visit people! The house was super cozy and fit all our needs! We loved the basket of goodies and vino. We will be back for sure!

Wedding weekend getaway

My fiancé, now husband, and I stayed at the cottage for our wedding weekend. While we weren’t able to fully enjoy the cute little cottage to the fullest, weddings are busy, we did enjoy the time we did spend in the cottage. We will definitely be booking the property again in the future!

The property and house were amazing. We stayed there for our wedding weekend close to the venue and it was such a relief to be so close. Breath taking views right on the lake. We weren't able to use any of the boats or dock being that it was underwater probably from the storms the week prior.

Great for a weekend get away!

This place was fantastic! I surprised my partner with a weekend trip to relax and do some fishing. I appreciated Judy’s quick communication, recommendations to rent a pontoon, and the house overall was nicely done! The only complaint I’d have would be to throw a couple night stands by the bed for a place to set your things, other than that, it was perfect! We will definitely be back! The community seemed nice and we even got surprised by some fireworks on the lake Saturday night! Highly recommend!

Getaway

This was exactly as advertised. Extremely clean and well furnished. They did such a nice job with this cottage. It rained one day and we played cards and sat on the screened in porch which was amazing. We watched the sunset and fished off the dock and just had an amazing visit. Thank you so much.

Relaxing and peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable and rustic lake cottage. It had everything we needed for a beautiful fall long weekend getaway. Each day we drove to/from East Lansing to visit our Spartan and the distance was not bad at all. And getting out of town to such a beautiful spot felt like a luxury. While it was too chilly for water sports, we really enjoyed the fire pit and we also found the pizza at the nearby gas station to be really good! Everything was great, but there's no dishwasher (fyi) and the spiral staircase to get upstairs is REALLY steep! I held on for dear life, haha. The sunsets were GORGEOUS!! A little slice of perfection. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the solitude.

Great Cottage on the Lake!

This property is great!The view is amazing and the cottage was well stocked. There were ample ice cube holders in the freezer, which was appreciated. Simple treats were left in a cute basket, which was a nice touch. Amenities/soaps, coffee pods, lotion, paper towels were given- very nice.It would be nice to have a couple of glasses added to the kitchen, We are in our 50's and to have glass for some wine would be nice. There was only one glass and every other cup we found was made of plastic/acrylic.Upon arrival we entered a different cottage. It was late, after 11 PM. The manager called immediately to tell us we were in the wrong property, and the delivery felt a bit harsh. Perhaps it was not meant to feel like a scolding; it could have just been fast talking but there was no warm welcome. We flew in from Charleston, SC with a long travel day and we simply did not realize there were two properties right beside each other that looked very similar from the outside, at night. For safety, perhaps a smoke/carbon monoxide detector could be added to the property. There was no A/C in the bedroom. There was a window unit, but only a fan ran. No cooling option was in that unit to turn on. It was 90 degrees during our stay so the loft became hot.We attended a wedding in Laingsburg and what a great place this was to stay. We would love to visit again.Thank you!

Hi Curtis, I will take your suggestions and I am always open to improving my properties. I try to think of everything. There is an A/C window unit in the loft upstairs that works great I would have been happy to come over and get it running for you if you had called me. I'm sorry it was so warm upstairs. This a great property when visiting MSU and the surrounding area. Fabulous view across the lake. Hosts were wonderful. From shampoo,conditioner to hair dryer,ac, space heater if needed to Keurig pods,bottled water and snacks. Nothimg else you need!! Will definitely stay again!!

Fall getaway

Absolutely perfect little cottage!

We had the perfect stay at this little cottage. It was just right for my husband and myself. Our son goes to MSU so we also had him and a couple friends come visit and sit outside, grilled out and enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat and cornhole. It was a wonderful evening. The process for check in was super easy and the owners are wonderful people who made everything perfect for our stay. I highly recommend this home! We will definitely be back!
