I purchased the damage fee for the cabin for just incase anything happened and there was damage and I was still charged. Also I was told the futon was thrown over the balcony but the location the futon was when outside is no balcony. I was also charged for excessive cleaning and the fact that they said it was excessive is drastically dramatic. It was a little dirty but nothing that would take anymore then an hour at most. The road leading up to the house is just very unsafe and I was not told that there would be problems going back down. The whole experience was not good and it was very upsetting how they are trying to basically lie and say that there was something that was damaged in a way that makes it look like it was done on purpose. When it comes down to it this cabin was not the best and we were not able to watch anything on the tvs because the devices did not work. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Close to Dollywood and all activities in Pigeon Forge

The cabin was cozy, warm and had plenty of beds for our family. I called customer service on Thanksgiving day and was connected with a friendly rep who could help me with entry into the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay at Simply Blessed cabin.

Property love the location the turn in to the property was kind of tricky.

Love the property if it wasn't for the fact we were spending time in Gatlinburg and at the parks and the island we would have spent more time at the house. Internet access what's party on the phone and the TV.

Although the cabin did seem a little outdated and needs a little fixing up we were pleased with price we paid for the amount of time we were there. It was clean, insect free, hottib was nice.

Gatlinburg trip

Main bed was broken when we arrived. Sent email immediately and got no response ever. Friend ended up calling the next day and it took all day before it was fixed. And maintenance left wood shavings and sawdust for us to clean up. Almost no tv reception the whole time. 4 tvs but none to watch.

Not as expected.

Not as expected. The drive up is horrible and terrifying. We were in a crash pulling in the driveway the 1st day. The beds are very uncomfortable and the master bed broke the last night we were there. The top bunk is held up by plywood that was bowing and we were not able to use.

Not very pleased with this cabin. The location was pleasant, but the inside of the cabin was not clean. We encountered several cockroaches. We also had issues with the keypad entry.

On the 1st night there was high winds and it blew a tree on the cabin beside us. My husband and I stayed up in case it happened to us. And there were fires in pigeon forge had us worried. We went in the kitchen and there were roaches on the kitchen chair and the broken kitchen window blind. The place could be a 10 if it was updated, sprayed, cleaned, the shades replaced

Improperly Cleaned

When we arrived at our cabin, there was food on the floor, dirt in our beds, dust all over and the tables were sticky. I sent a message through VRBO and was told there was a wait and I would receive a message shortly; I did not. Location was great, but having to clean and wash our sheets before we could enjoy our vacation was very disappointing.

Cockroaches

The cottage was in a great location and the rooms were nice but this property need fumigated. There were a lot of cockroaches in the kitchen and living room. The porch that contains the hot tub had a pad lock on the door that leads to the outside deck, so it was hard to use that deck and you had to go through a bedroom to get to the hot tub. We call the manager to grove us the combination to the pad lock and they would not. The door locks were not working when we checked in and the managers could/would only open one door. We’ve rented a lot of properties through VRBO and we will not be renting from this management company again!

Would have been nice if it wasn't for the roaches

This property was beautiful and a great size. Wooded view but very nice. The hot tub buttons did not work and would not turn off. Our second night there we found a TON of roaches in the kitchen. We immediately called them about this. They said the manager would call us back. He never did. We had to call them back again the next day. Once we did speak to them they offered us a 250.00 credit. We stated that this was not good enough (this amount doesnt even cover one night, we did leave the property after we found the infestation) because after checking the reviews again there had been someone that reported the roaches days before we got there. They were not taken care of or reported to us. When we told the manager this she said that it wasn't her job. The marketing department deals with reviews. The worst customer service I have ever had!!!

Location was pretty good.Short drive to downtown area. When we first arrived,the door code given to me didn’t work and took about 15 minutes for someone to finally answer. The downstairs area wasn’t what was expected. You have to walk through one room to reach the bathroom or the hot tub. So whoever was in that room had no privacy. Then whoever slept in the joining room had no privacy because you had to go through that room to go back upstairs. The hot only worked for a short period of time on one night. After that it was malfunctioning and never ran right. Very inconvenient having to walk through the bedrooms to go to and from the hot tub. The downstairs door and the screen door to the hot tub stayed locked and wouldn’t give me the code to open it. Need to find a better way to make both floors temperature a little more manageable.If you run a fire and the heat will never kick on because the thermostat is too close to the fire so the heat will never kick on so downstairs is like an ice box!!!

When we first walked in it felt like a sauna thaw room was 80 degrees, there were roaches in the kitchen, I’m assuming they didn’t clean well before we came in cause there was a breathing tube in the bed, hot tub worked wonderful.

Place very dirty. Shouldn't charge cleaning fee!

We enjoyed the stay; however, the place had not been cleaning by no-one probably in months. Ceiling fan blades were as dirty as they can, all Furnitures, decorations, picture frames, door frames, etc, were in a very poor condition: A lot of dust and peace's of dirt everywhere. Under the beds we found plastic residuals, paper, spider web, and a lot of dirt. Floors in poor condition. It looked like an abandoned place. the Blender machine dont work and switches and outlets are worn out.

Gatlinburg Vacation

Overall the cabin was nice with the exception of some poop left under the bunk beds that i had to clean up when we first arrived. the driveway was very steep. Other than that the cabin was very nice

Tennessee getaway

Our stay at the Simply Blessed cabin was one of our best vacations. It was clean, comfortable and very relaxing. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. I did however have a minor heart attack (NOT REALLY)while I was out on the porch late one night having a cigarette. A bear happened to come by the porch. It was pretty cool though, it didnt seem to mind I was only a few feet away from it. I definitely will be rebooking next year if this cabin is available!!!

Fun with friends

Its was an amazing weekend. There were some issues with the cabin. The handle on the toilet was broken so we had to flush the toilet manually which was difficult with 6 women. The hot tub would not heat so we did not get to enjoy that. The wood was stuck out in the rain and cold so it would not light. I wish they would of keep it in a dryer place so we could of had a nice fire or at least covered it with a tarp to keep it dry. But over all we had a great time.
