Make yourselves at home at this terrific beach house with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico from both inside and out. Located approximately 150 yards from the western edge of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, this bright and spacious home boasts a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar for preparing your favorite meals and beach snacks, a dining area with a table for six, and a sunlit living area with comfortable seating, a large, cable-equipped flatscreen TV, and a second table and chairs with a view - perfect for rainy day board games!

We stay here every year because of the fantastic dog-friendly beach access, the amazing views, and the very chill vibe in the area. The house is not fancy, but it is very comfortable and we look forward to coming here every year to unwind.

Great Stay

From previous reviews, I knew the only negative complaint most people had was the deck area being outdated. If you know that and put it aside, this was a perfect beach house. Right near the boardwalk to the beach. Big house, plenty of space, and a private area. We were able to take our dogs down to the beach without worrying about anybody caring. The area is safe, and we were able to leave our chairs and tent at the beach overnight without worrying about people taking anything. I would recommend this spot, and will probably be back in the future.

It’s a great location! We came for my birthday! I love how it’s on the beach. It does need some work, well a good bit of work, but it fit our needs perfectly fine. The a/c works really well!! The sliding doors are super hard to use and the door handles were broken so you have to kind of make sure how you can. The fridge took a while to chill things but it caught up. We adored the flooring in the spare bathroom!! Water pressure was good in the bathrooms. I loved the box that was included with the laundry soap/kitchen soaps etc. It was a great stay and it was a super good deal! I would definitely stay again! I didn’t want to leave.

Relaxing with uncrowded beaches

We stay here every year before Thanksgiving. The location is fantastic! The beach isn't too crowded and is dog friendly. It is a perfect place for a relaxing and fun family vacation!

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

While I don't fish, "El Prescador" is the perfect getaway for a weekend with our furry friend. Place was very comfortable and the location was perfect with a very short walk to the beach across the private road. We will be back again!

Overall Nice Getaway

The walk to the beach is very short, and the home was a great price given its condition. Some things are in major need of updates and upgrades, but overall it makes for a nice brief getaway.

Weekend on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay. Great view and just a walk across the road and you're on the beach. The house was clean. And everything was in order.

Unobstructed view/ great Beach access

Some updates needed to deck, overall great house. A/C worked great, couldn’t have asked for better location. Very quiet and convenient to stores. Would definitely recommend!
