Starting with good things: great location, excellent beach front. Grounds of property are nice and well kept. Nice pools. Workout room was small and not very clean with broken and dated equipment. The room itself was not very clean. It had been surface cleaned, but there was mold in both bathrooms, in many different areas in the floor and the baseboards. Fixtures don’t function well-

Great Gulf Shore Get-Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is exactly as described. The pictures are quite accurate. It has a small/ tidy kitchen but the rest of the place was roomy enough for 7.Very clean and Jackie was great to work with. We had an issue with the shower upon arrival and she had maintenance fix it the following day! Thank you!There is direct access to the beach via boardwalk and we had 2 pools, sand volleyball and hot tub right outside our unit.Access to the indoor pool with the provided key card on site. But the card did not give us access to the exercise room. Great beach location. 25 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of all the restaurants, shops, and stores.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with the rental. It is hard to find a place for just two nights and this was a nice place in a nice area. It was close to the wedding we were down for. It was great for our needs. I thought it was beachfront but that was probably my mistake. It is definitely only ocean view. Again for our two nights it was great. The property is nice with pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and also laundry on each floor. The security check point made you feel safe. The beach was not overcrowded either. The only thing about the condo was they need new mattresses. Those bed toppers need to go. Nice stay overall though.

Wonderful Stay

We went here for my daughter‘s ninth birthday. We had a wonderful time and loved that it was not overly crowded. With it being spring break you never know how busy it’s going to be. I loved not having to wake up early just to get a spot on the beach. We will definitely be returning.

Nice condo but could use knives for cutting steak, etc, lights were burnt out needing replacing. Clutter of decor on breakfast counter useless and took up space needed to have meals

Can see ocean if stand up and look from side of balcony. Taller seating on balcony would be a nice add. The loft is nice but the spiral staircase is in the way and can be a hazard. Small living area leaves little room for gathering. Like others have said mattresses need to be replaced. Over all great trip, out of the way location, relaxing trip.

Great family getaway

We had never been to Alabama beaches and this was a great first impression. Aside from being a bit of a drive from many of the more talked about restaurants, this condo was perfect for our family. Great space, short walk to the beach, and the pools were a nice little escape for our kids when the beach (sand) got to be too much.

Relaxing days of summer

Great Location but not all worth it.

Let me start off by saying every place you stay will have positives and negatives so this is just a review for future renters.We even had a water leak in our room by the a/c- hot water heater (didnt really effect our stay) but the very nice maintenance guy checked on it regularly to make sure it was truely fixed. Parking is another issue, it does not tell you only 2 cars per room, we had 3 for 8 people coming from different places. Wanted us to parked our 3rd car 5 miles down the rd in a random pizza place lot. They also do not tell you that each car on the resort is about $40 per vehicle to park on top of the money we already paid for the condo. None of this is in the ad for the place (hidden fees). Now Jackie the property mananger did her best and we got to bring our 3rd car on the resort but still had to pay so total of $120 in parking they dont tell you. Also the paperwork you have to fill out and print off just to get in this place... i thought i was entering FORT KNOX! Been a lot of places definitely the most hassle 😒 Ice machine in our room was purposely broken so you have to conveniently buy ice from the ice machine right outside for $6.60 a bag. 🤨 Love they have so many pools so if one is crowed you have others. Restaurants and coffee shop/ice cream on resort are great! Access to the beach is perfect! Resort grounds are tropical and beautifully kept. ❤️

Beach vacation

Checkin process was easy! Condo was clean, was smaller than anticipated, but worked out perfectly for us. The grounds are clean, it is a short walk to the pools and beach. Very nice!

40th Birthday Trip

The condo was perfect for our needs. The guests that stayed in the guest bedroom wished there were mattress toppers. The master bed was very comfortable but a little squeaky. The short walk to the beach was amazing. It made going out to the beach easy as we didn’t have to lug our things a long way. I would suggest some additions to the kitchen. I wish that there had been large mixing bowls. We did have trouble accessing the streaming services on the living room tv. The television software needs to be updated for Netflix and Hulu to be used. We were able to connect an Apple TV that we brought from home to be able to watch movies at night. Overall we were very happy with the condo and would definitely stay again.

Fort Morgan Condo

We enjoyed our stay. Jackie sent an email with ALL information a couple of days before we arrived. It truly covered everything. Our check in process was less than 60 seconds at the gate security because we followed Jackie’s advice from the email. Everything worked as it should and I didn’t have any issues whatsoever during our visit. Location: East of the Fort Morgan ferry & west of the Gulf Shores Walmart. We wanted somewhere quieter than the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores. The condo was perfect for us. It’s a ~300 yard walk from the condo, by one of the resort pools, down the boardwalk to the beach. Close enough that if you leave something at the condo, it’s an easy walk back. The beds are a lot more comfortable than we anticipated. I don’t know sleep well outside of my house, but all of the beds were very comfortable. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach. The guys showed up around 7:00 am. I was able to reserve chairs for our entire stay in one easy transaction. They also let us keep our beach toys & other chairs there overnight so we didn’t have to haul them back and forth every day. Water pressure was a little lacking in the shower, but I don’t think that’s on the individual condo owners, probably on the facility as a whole. There were plenty of cooking utensils though I wasn’t a fan of the skillets we used. Sassy Bass is a so-so eatery. It was ok for an easy meal. All in all, we had a great time.

The Dukes Vaca ‘24

The condo was decorated nice and was clean.We have stayed at the Plantation West before we really like this resort. Cons the bunk beds are not sturdy so don’t plan on anyone sleeping on the top bunk, bathrooms need updated and don’t use the fan in the master bedroom. The maintenance came promptly with issue with toilet in master bathroom. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed our vacation.

We had a blast!

The property and unit were quite nice. There's plenty of room for a family of 4 with all the amenities you can handle. We will certainly be adding this to our list recurring trips to the beach ⛱️

Spring break with friends/teens

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was adequate. The listing was appropriate, however much smaller than anticipated. The kitchen was ok. There is a hole in the flooring that is covered with a rug. Could use a few more coffee mugs, maybe even some that match and weren’t purchased from the dollar general down the road. The bathrooms were fine, plenty of towels, 1 roll of toilet paper in each upon arrival. Toilets were old and barely flushed, had to hold the handle, shower was old. Some basic, affordable, upgrades would make the bathroom much nicer. Bedrooms were are advertised. The beds are incredibly squeaky!! Can’t roll over without waking the entire house. The bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom is very shaky, so recommend small children on the top. There is also a note asking for the comforter to be removed so it doesn’t get stained, so I recommend bringing an extra blanket or two. There are remote controls for the fans/lights on the walls for each room but they are obsolete. The patio has 4 very basic plastic chairs and 1 small side table, nothing special. Outdoor amenities were good. The pools were nice, a little chilly because they are not heated, but during the hot summer months would be refreshing. Hot tub closest to the condo is nice and warm, however although its size, security only allows 5 people to be in it at a time and will walk around throughout the evening making people get out. The beach is beautiful!! Make sure to bring your own beach towels, toys, chairs, etc for the beach, nothing available at the condo. The food on site was ok, nothing to write home about. It is a 30 minute drive to get in to town, which is no big deal, but grab the majority of your supplies before you head down the island. Overall the property was adequate, and fulfilled it’s purpose of a home base, however will not be staying at this property again.

This beachfront condo exceeded our expectations!

Our family with teen and preteen had the most amazing time at this beachfront condo. The location was absolutely perfect. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The condo was equipped with all the amenities we needed. We loved spending our mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, watching the sunrise over the beach. The complex had fantastic pool areas, complete with lounge chairs where we spent many relaxing hours. The beach was just steps away, making it easy for the us to come and go as we pleased. We appreciated how clean and well-maintained the condo and the common areas were. The staff were friendly. Overall, our stay at this beachfront condo was perfect. It provided a fantastic vacation experience for our family with teens, and we can't wait to come back again.
