Perfect spot in a perfect little beach town! Location, location, location!Our family unexpectedly had to pivot and find somewhere else to spend a few days after our family vacation home flooded during the historic Indiana rains. We were so fortunate to come across this cute home in South Haven!The location could not have been more convenient—just a short distance from the beach and close to everything we wanted to enjoy in town. We especially loved being able to take in the amazing sunsets and enjoy all that this charming beach town has to offer.Sometimes unexpected changes lead you to exactly where you were meant to be, and this little home was the perfect place for our family to land. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Beautiful home and beautiful view of the water right from the living room. Home was clean and well-appointed. Fans in the bedrooms were a nice touch, also white noise machines! Host was very responsive and helpful. Check-in was easy and the list of check-out chores was reasonable. Very close to town too!

Our stay was perfect in every way that was controllable by the host. (Weather could have been better, but that is the risk you run in April). We loved the location and the comfort of the house. Our communication with the host was timely and accurate. We would definitely come back!

Lovely, comfortable, very clean, well equipped home with fabulous location directly across from the beach! Excellent communication with host and they were kind enough to let us check in a bit early and stay a bit late, which we greatly appreciated!

We had a fantastic vacation. The house is very nice, clean, and in a perfect location - just steps from the beach. There is a great view of the lighthouses and the Michigan sunsets from the property. Scott the host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed in South Haven many times, and this was one of our favorites - definitely plan to stay again in the future!

Great Location - Great House

This is our 2nd time staying here and it is in a perfect location! Scott D is easy to deal with and quick to respond to questions. My whole family recommends this house.

This place is amazing!!! It is a wonderfully well stocked beach house with lots of beach toys and beach towels--and really nice beach towels. The kitchen is well stocked and it's easy to prepare meals and there's a fantastic gas grill in the backyard as well. It's also such an easy walk to downtown with all the restaurants and really good coffee shops. The beds and furniture are comfortable and it was so easy to relax here.I could have a fantastic vacation and never leave the front porch, but it's a very easy, short walk to the beach just across the street. There's a terrific beach wagon for hauling supplies and I thought we'd use the golf cart but we didn't find we needed it with the wagon and the walk being so short. We were always on the porch to watch the sunset and the view is incredible. We also enjoyed the proximity to the Kid's Corner playground for our grandson--just a couple blocks away. There's also the beach playground just at the bottom of the hill and there's a splash pad near the South beach concession stand and he loved that tool There's so many things to keep kids entertained and all within walking distance. The location can't be beat, but the house itself is wonderful and would be a fantastic choice even if it was a few blocks from the beach, but luckily it isn't. We had a wonderful, wonderful time and this is a very thoughtfully. appointed and comfortable home to share with your family. Tha's so much!!!

Friends’ Birthday Trip

A perfect setting for a friends’ getaway! The location is close to the beach in a walkable neighborhood. The house itself could not have been cleaner or better appointed. Beds were super comfortable. Owner provided timely communication about check-in and helpful hints. We can’t wait to return!

Great location & plenty of room!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SunDeckers and would definitely stay here again! The location is amazing: within walking distance of downtown South Haven and Lake Michigan, which you can see from the home! Scott, the owner, was very attentive and accessible. The home was perfect for a large family or even two families, as there are PLENTY of sleeping spots and three full baths. Would definitely recommend this home, and we hope to be back for future stays!

Family Vacation

We had six adults and three little ones under the age of two. The house was clean and very spacious. We really enjoyed the patio and watching the sunsets. Great vacation. The owner was super easy to work with and responded quickly. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back. Carolyn

Wonderful get away

We couldn’t say enough nice things about this home. Loved everything about this place. The house is lovely, extremely clean, beds comfortable, plenty of towels, and the location…well you can’t get any better. Communication with Scott was perfect. No doubt my husband and I will return. Beautiful home and location

We had a fantastic sister’s weekend at Scott’s home in South Haven! The house was immaculate and very cute. There is plenty of seating, and the dining room and living room picture windows give a great view of Lake Michigan. We were close enough to walk downtown to do some shopping. We would definitely rent here again!

The Best Experience!

Probably the best VRBO we have experienced! Immaculately clean, well stocked with toys, paper products, toiletries and cleaning products, this home is perfectly situated for the beach and a St. Basil’s wedding! Further, the owner stayed in touch throughout, ensuring that all our needs were addressed. This is an exceptional property at a fair price. Thanks to our gracious hosts.
