Really loved this location! The rooms downstairs were perfect size for our family. I liked how the living room was upstairs so we did not have to walk through the living room after getting home from the beach

Great Location and Nice Property and Decorating

My wife and I visited San Diego for almost a week and invited my son and his wife, who live locally to stay with us. It is a great location and very nice property. I really liked the bedrooms were on the first level and kitchen and family area was above - so we would not track sand from the beach into the areas where we would spend most of the time. It was a great stay - everything was in order and it was no more than 50 steps to the beach and boardwalk which we walked 2-3 times each day. The restaurants nearby were easy and made our own meals, went out, and carried in which was very convenient. Parking was tight but noticed that in all the condos/homes around and street parking in early April was never a problem. Could not expect more

Mid Winter Break

The property itself was just ok. The positive is definitely the location. However the townhouse needs to be updated. The beds are old and springs are squeaky. The window in the kitchen needs to be replaced as it has moisture around it constantly and is growing mold. There was also mold in the bathroom downstairs. An investment in a dehumidifier would help with this and the overall musty smell downstairs. There is a sewer smell downstairs. I’m not sure if this could possibly be from recent flooding in the area but something to address. There were minimal kitchen and bathroom supplies. The only coffee maker is a Keurig. Overall we enjoyed our stay but feel that would could have rented a nicer property for the same money. All of the beach area is accessible by a short walk from other nearby properties.

Excellent home and location!

I stayed with my husband and teenage son. We wanted to be close to the beach and it is steps away! Pros: Wonderful amount of space and we would book again even if bringing friends/more family. I was very impressed at how clean everything was. When you are steps away from the beach most properties are a bit dirty but this place was GREAT! It is far enough from Belmont Park that it is a bit safer and calmer but close enough to get there in just minutes. Beds are comfortable. My son loved having his own bathroom! Cons: Master bathroom has a long vertical window inside the shower. There is no privacy glass so you could potentially give quite the show to anyone in the alley taking out their trash. You can hide if you stay close to the wall - or there is an additional bathroom. The garage is SMALL - take the reviews seriously. It was a struggle to get my VW Jetta to fit the first time but once I knew it was possible it got easier. I would recommend having a friend stand on the street while parking. There is a bit of foot traffic /bicycles so it is nice to have someone help with that while I squeezed in the garage. As expected for the location - it was louder at night with some beach party people and car noise but that is going to happen if you want to stay INCHES from the ocean on Mission Beach. Don't let the cons hold you back - this place was AWESOME!

Excellent Condo a very short walk to the beach! Great value!

My husband and two adult kids stayed here for a wonderful, week long vacation and absolutely loved it! It was by far the most spacious condo in the price range and had two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms in each. The upstairs had its own powder room and a very large living room, couch, kitchen and dining room. The house was so clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. All of the locks for the condo, the entrance, the garage and trash were super easy and there were no keys. Three days before our arrival, I got an email with all of the codes and info and it was so easy. When you walk out of the condo, you are literally steps from the beach! It is so super close! It is right in the heart of Mission Beach and truly, you can’t be any closer to the beach unless you rent a beach front condo. There is no beach view from the condo, but it really didn’t matter since we were so close. A couple of things- the garage was so tiny and narrow and I really had to struggle to learn how to park our Toyota Camry rental and if we had an SUV, there would be no chance at all so be careful what you rent. I had to get the whole family out before I parked it and then shimmy out when it was parked. They have toys and beach chairs at the back of the garage so don’t rent anything. There is a liquor store with small snacks, water, soda, across the street but a grocery store is a drive away (we like the nearby Sprouts). There are restaurants in both directions so you are definitely covered. Overall, I loved this condo and location and would highly recommend it!

Relaxing and stress free stay

The check in process was simple instructions given through email. No checking in in person hassle. Checking out was the same, simple as picking up after yourself and locking up. Great location and kept very clean. Would love to stay again.

Nice place near the beach and bay

The location was great - walkable/bikable to everything in Mission/Pacific beach. The garage is very narrow (as listed) so don't expect to get a truck or a minivan in there. We had noisy neighbors one night and a few ants were crawling around. The bed in the small bedroom squeaked and the mattress was mediocre. The upstairs was great for the family gatherings and the kitchen is huge.
