Hideaway Cabin in Cedar Mountain | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

New cabin in Cedar Mountain, very quiet and private.  Enjoy the natural surroundings, the wildlife and the hot tub.  Expansive decking and covered front porch allow guests to unwind totally.  This new cabin features one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs, each with their own bathroom.  Linens provided, professionally managed. Hot tub on deck.  Soaring ceilings and lots of windows give this cabin the right look and feel that you want in a vacation rental cabin in Cedar Mountain.  The furniture is high quality as are the kitchen appliances and counters.  The climate controls give you the ability to set the temperature separately for the main level and the upstairs if needed.  Very efficient central heating and cooling system will keep you comfortable.  Washer and dryer with starter soaps for your convienience.
Paved road and concrete drive to this property, easy to access.  Some guests may experience spotty cell service until you connect to the WiFi signal.

FOUR NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIRED FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions.  The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations.  Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Loved it!

I should preface I own an interior design studio, and I am not an outdoor person. I didn’t think I would enjoy being that far away from the city. I was wrong! It is the loveliest little cabin! From the sofas to the bed they were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and it’s not too far from Brevard if you want to do grocery or boutique shopping. There’s a great fire pit that you can snuggle up next to outside or the indoor fireplace is also lovely and toasty! Their water runs very hot, which I appreciated after a long day of hiking nearby waterfalls. With GPS it’s very easy to get to and feels safe. The hot tub was crystal clean and clear which made for a fun perk on sore muscles. Turns out I do love being in a cabin in the mountains, and can’t wait to come back again!! P.S. I also really appreciated that it was decorated for Christmas!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous, and one of the cleanest and best stocked vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. We loved the beautiful Christmas decorations and the hot cocoa bar, and enjoyed watching deer in the front yard at dusk. We spent our days chasing waterfalls, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, and visiting the Biltmore, and then relaxed in the hot tub at night. We would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Hideaway cabin

Very clean cabin. Check in was easy. Very peaceful and you can hear nearby stream. Would definitely stay again. Loved this place.

Stellar cabin in the woods

We enjoyed this cabin in the woods. It had all the amenities of home and it was very clean. The only thing lacking is privacy. There are two cameras on property which were not disclosed. One camera faces the driveway which is fine since it doesn't look into the cabin. The second camera looks right at the home from a tree across the driveway. There's no window coverings on the cabin windows except for the 2 bathrooms. It felt odd to have a camera pointing directly into the living space from outside where you would expect privacy. There were six or seven deer that would visit the property in the morning and then again in the evening. We heard about bears but didn't see any during our stay.

Engagement Getaway- God’s blessing over Hideaway Cabin

Cabin was amazing, owners have really thought about everything to location, and all amenities one might need. God moved with an abundance of blessings over this cabin and over these mountains. Such a beautiful place to stay and experience all what the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer. We will be rebooking in the near future. Thank you for such an amazing stay!! Joey and Dawn

Great Getaway!

We were in much need of a getaway! Booked this great escape with hot tub…we always LOVE hot tubs! House was secluded, easy to get to and of course the hot tub was…pristine! We did notice a window open on the second level that kept the house around 63 degrees (couldn’t reach)…felt bad having fireplace and heat blaring but no luck in raising temp. Called maintenance and within ten mins they were out to close window… temp rose drastically to 70 within 30 mins. Great cabin. Will book again!!

Cabin in the woods

We stayed through Christmas and the cabin was beautifully decorated when we arrived! What a nice surprise. Everything we could possibly needed was provided at the property. Very close to hiking at DuPont park with beautiful waterfalls! Pretty place is right down the road. Would definitely return. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your hideaway.

Perfect balance of cozy cabin atmosphere and clean and open modern living space. Immediately felt welcome walking in to see the charming holiday decor, abundant amenities, and the hot tub already filled and toasty for us. Peaceful area, just remote enough. Comforable bed and furniture and easy to use appliances. A little confused by the instruction to drop the thermostat to 55 before checking out (couldn't get it to go lower than 60), but hoping that's just a general rule for all of their properties and that it was acceptable to leave it at 60. Overall great experience, would definitely go back in the future!

Cedar Mountain Cabin

We had a great stay- not sure what we liked the best. It was the large deck, the cleanliness of the cabin, the large island, the amount of natural light inside, the large bathroom in the master suite, the comfortable king size bed or maybe seeing wildlife everyday!! One highlight was definitely the bear that visited. You will not be disappointed!!

Very nice cabin in the mountains

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family in the area and were very satisfied with the property. The cabin was comfortable and had everything that we needed. Our only issue was the colony of yellow jackets that came out from under the deck near the hot tub and stung our 9 year old granddaughter in the face. I reported this to the management company and they sent someone out the next morning to investigate.

The property was Superb.

The property was Superb. It has everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing time in the mountains. They provided everything you need to build an outdoor fire, barbecue grill, and Heated spa. Wrap around porch with nice chairs made for relaxing evenings. Wonderful property but recommend arriving before dark the first time due to the steep downhill driveway. Excellent customer service.

Hideaway Cabin is aptly named.

Hideaway Cabin is aptly named. It is perfect for a little isolation and rest and recreation. Guests can easily choose to vegetate and do nothing (without being disturbed) or visit nearby hiking trails and parks for some outdoor activities. The cabin is well maintained, clean and nicely furnished, with a hot tub for a little extra pampering. The kitchen was great and there was a good stock of cookware, utensils and dinnerware. There are great views of the surrounding woodlands from the very extensive balcony. Will definitely visit again. Isaac was great. He reached out before our arrival and let us know what we should be looking out for. Throughout the stay, we never saw him but felt assured that he was available to deal with any problems that we might have.

This cabin was amazing! So clean and it had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our time there. The furry throw blankets were the perfect touch on a chilly night in the mountains. Loved everything about it!
