Mountain Breeze - Pet Friendly Read Our Reviews

This home is country style, quietly nestled in the pine trees. A well equipped kitchen with a dining booth. Large living room with wood stove and smart TV. Views of Mt. Shasta right out the windows. Two bedrooms with one bathroom downstairs. Master suite with bathroom and incredible views upstairs. Very cozy home with quilts and local art. Double car garage
We welcome pets with a fully fenced side yard.
Open living room, kitchen and dining area allowing friends and family to visit and mingle while cooking, eating or just relaxing in front of the warm wood stove.
The bedrooms are roomy and quiet for peaceful naps and restful sleeping.
Head outdoors and find wide open spaces for kids to play and older kids to relax and listen to the breeze in the pine trees. At night you will find very little light pollution which allows incredible star and planetary gazing. Don't miss the sunrises, sunsets and amazing Alpenglow of Mt. Shasta in the evenings.
Very quiet and private but only 3 minutes from I-5.

Bedrooms were perfect for our group size and makeup. The kitchen was well-stocked - made pancakes, coffee, etc. The living room was comfortable with seating for our group plus two others that visited one day. We played games around the kitchen table. Several of our group enjoyed running on the roads in the area. Was nice that we could park in the garage!

This was a great location to meet up with family and see the Mt Shasta area. The view from the property of Mt Shasta was spectacular. We very much enjoyed the time here and highly recommend it.

We met for a ski weekend at Mt Shasta and had the MOST fantastic time!

This place exceeded our expectations! Not only was the location beautiful, but the extra amenities provided by the hosts were great! The check-in process was easy and they were flexible in providing an early check-in when requested. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Wonderful vacation near Mt Shasta

Lovely property, clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The location is beautiful with gorgeous views of Mount Shasta. Plenty to explore in the area for hiking and snow shoeing. The hosts are wonderful, and very helpful. We had everything we needed and communication with hosts was easy. Will definitely stay here again when in area next.

Great location, beautiful home.

Felt like it was in middle of nowhere but only 10 minutes from town. Well supplied with everything we needed and waking up to that view of Shasta each morning was amazing.

The owner had a clean neat ,very spoiling house , they prepared variety of coffee for us, which we coffee lovers were impressed. Every little detail was made to make the visitors feel at home and feel comfortable. Definitely will come again and recommend this house for friends and family.

This property is as advertised and we enjoyed every bit! It’s like coming to a family home. This was our second trip here and it was nice to know exactly what to expect. A wonderful stay!

We had a reunion in nearby Shasta, so this was the perfect place to call home during that time. There were comfortable beds for three generations (me, grandma in her 80s and grandkids in their early 20s). We loved all of the different outdoor seating areas and the additional enclosed yard for our dogs was perfect! Plenty of special touches and very comfortable eating and sleeping arrangements. And so much beautiful artwork too! We highly recommend this place, and hope to return soon!!

great get away!

Communication with the owner was prompt and clear. The house was clean and comfortable with a very cooking-friendly kitchen. (lots of spices, pans, dishes, etc.) The views of Mt. Shasta were beautiful, and it was easy to get to deserted mountain roads in the nearby forests for long walks with the dogs. The fully fenced yard for the dogs was perfect, and the neighborhood was quiet. Very peaceful! We will visit again!!

Peace at The Mountain Breeze

This place was awesome! We enjoyed every day especially star gazing on cold winter’s night while sipping on some red wine or whiskey to stay warm while star gazing. Having a chance to use the fire stove was awesome. The kids loved the snow. Even our 3 year old German Shepherd acted like a snow dog enjoyed running in the snow and at one point decided to lay there as if he was in a cozy bed. It was easy to maintain contact with Scott. His wife, Mary, baked us a pumpkin loaf and it was delicious. Awesome hospitality. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for having us.

I grew up on this property. My father built this home as a place for friends and family to stay when they would visit.
We have decided to share this 'magical' place with all that want to relax, refresh and recharge.
I graduated from Weed High School and my wife graduated from Mt. Shasta High School. We are very familiar with places to go and things to do in this beautiful setting. We also live just up the road - less than 1/4 mile, where we raise Red Angus cows and hobby roast fresh coffee on four air roasters. That is why we provide you with complimentary fresh roasted coffee and ground beef.
If there is anything you need or any questions, we are readily available.

As soon as you step outside at night and see the Milky Way and vast number of stars, you will know why you chose our house.
When you are sitting in the living room with a fire in the wood stove and watching the snow fall outside, you will know why you chose our house.

It is easily accessible off of I-5.
Amazingly we get people that meet at our house that are from Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA or from Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA. They arrive and spend the week or weekend celebrating their friendships.
