Do not rent this house you will regret it. Urine smell throughout and in the ghetto
I never got an address to the house. I had to contact them by email yo get it. Before I got there they said they had a problem. With finding the key so they had to change the locks. I was okay with that because I didn't check in yet. Riding to the home I had to drive to the projects. Area is very bad and only a few blocks away from the projects. They never told me where to park I had to find off street parking behind the house. After finding that we had to walk through mud to get to the back door. The back door landing was covered in small bits of trash. The door was left open for us to get in. Locks still was not changed after 2 hours emailing staff. I called staff and they told me they will contact someone. Entering the home it was heavily sprayed with a air spray. Which they left the can outside with the rest of trash on the landing. Walking into the dining area you could smell air freshener and urine. Looking at the couch it appeared to have alot blood stains on one area. We soon found the couch and pillows for the couch was covered in a strong odor of urine. The smell was throughout the house even upstairs. I contacted staff right away. They said the will send over a cleaning crew. That NEVER happened. We had to leave to my daughters wedding dinner and we had to leave the door unlocked because they still haven't fixed the lock. We were scared because the area were we were in was scary. I called again and they said the locks would be fixed which they did. But I had to call again because they never gave me the code. They quickly sent me the code. Going back into the home the urine was worse. Waking up next day my wife and I started fighting because of this. The house is older has nice light fixer's but that's it. Pictures were not hung laying on floor. Stains all over the wall, needs paint bad. You can hear the neighbor and outside noise. Windows are painted shut and only one TV in the urine smell living room. I had no choice but to stay. My wife pushed through it. I demanded a refund. They offered me only $75 bucks. I wasn't happy but I said okay. I waited 2 days and nothing. I emailed them about my $75 refund. They had the balls to say I must leave a good review first then we will send your refund. I told them to keep there refund and their urine smell house. THEY GOT MY $700+ PLEASE DONT RENT UNLESS YOU LIKE THE GHETTO AND URINE SMELL. SAD HOW PEOPLE DO BUSINESS ANY MORE. ONE STAR IS TO HIGH FOR THIS NASTY HOME.
