Chalet 186 is the quintessential mountain retreat. Comfortably sleep 12-14 with 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, finished basement with 2 bunk beds along with heat/AC air throughout. Free WiFi, complimentary Keurig coffee pods, a bottle of sparkling wine are just a few of the many accommodations awaiting your arrival.

Sleeping arrangements: The “2nd Floor Master” has a Queen Bed and a Twin pull out trundle (two Twin beds) along with it’s own Bathroom which serves as a private location for one family with kids. The Upstairs Master has it’s own AC unit which keeps the upstairs cool throughout the night or a heater for the winter if needed. The main level boasts two more bedrooms along with the main level bathroom. “Bedroom #1” has a Queen and Twin bed. “Bedroom #2” has two Twin beds. The remodeled basement has all new carpet along with the third bathroom and bathtub/shower. Two bunk beds, twin over full, line the basement wall with a full entertainment center and a ping pong table that can be stored away if desired along with large bean bags for movie night.

Entertaining: Leave the world behind as you sit above all other homes. The Main Floor is where most time will be spent in the house, featuring a “Great Room” with Sonos speakers for easy Bluetooth connectivity with large windows looking toward the Mountain Range. Log into the Smart TVs to enjoy a family movie night after a day on the lake or Yosemite hike . Puzzles, cards and board games can be found in the entryway credenza. Adjacent to the Great Room is the Kitchen which features a Coffee Bar for Keurig and/or Pot Brewed coffee. Cook up a wonderful meal or sauté veggies to accompany the BBQ with all new Appliances and a fully stocked kitchen with oil, spices, flour and sugar. Separating the Kitchen from the Great Room is a 3 person high top table before leading into the Kitchen Nook with a 6 person dining table. All of which flows into the outdoor deck with both a gas and charcoal grill. The basement is great for kids to play while adults take a break from the action upstairs.

During your stay, you’ll be provided with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a few Keurig pods for morning coffee.

Remote Work: Featuring two quiet work spaces. The Master Bedroom has one desk and the other desk resides in one of the rooms in the Basement to support “work from home” if desired. Chalet 186 provides the fastest WiFi possible in the mountains and works great throughout all levels of the home.

Access to Pine Mountain Lake: Upon entrance into PML, guests will be required to pay $44 per vehicle (not included in Vrbo pricing) for a 7 day vehicle pass that gives access to all that Pine Mountain Lake has to offer. Good for 7 days, this pass will allow in and out access through PML’s gates. Additionally, the pass will give access to the Lake, 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, The Grill Restaurant, Equestrian Center and more.

There are three sandy beaches at PML: The Marina, Lake Lodge and Dunn Court. The Marina Beach is by far the most popular beach and the largest. The Marina offers: sandy beach & lawn area, BBQ pits, picnic benches, volleyball net, sailboat / kayak / paddle boat / standup paddle rentals. Call the Equestrian Center to schedule a horseback lesson for all ages or trail ride.

Pine Mountain Lake: located just 26 miles from Yosemite’s North Gate off of Highway 120 in the small mountain town of Groveland.

Parking: Chalet 186 offers 4 parking spots on the driveway with an additional 3 spaces to park just off of the street at the base of the driveway. Directions will be included in the “Check In” packet.
