Lakefront Beach House

Wake up to a sunrise over Lake Michigan and at night enjoy a fire on the beach listening to the waves. The main bedroom features a king size bed with bay windows facing the lake. The home is open concept living, dining, kitchen area. There is a large, lake side, screened in porch off the living area. This home is the perfect size to spend time together, but enough room to find your own space to relax. Off a private road with few (and friendly) neighbors and no road noise. Make use of a propane gas BBQ for your favorite lunch. It's a great spot to swim or launch your kayak, especially with a fishing pole! It's an easy drive to hit up a nearby golf course, snowmobile trail, fishing hot spot, or public hunting land.

Beautiful view, cozy house

The lake view was wonderful, the house is very cute, and the screened porch was used alot. Bridgette was very responsive to all my inquiries. The only suggestion I have is to provide sun blocking curtains for privacy and to keep the house cooler. An FYI for future renters is that the shower is small.

Long Emergency Stay

My house burned down and I could not find a furnished place to rent that would take small dogs. Bridgette was amazing! This place calmed my soul during a very sad and crazy time for me! It was perfect! The sunrises were the most amazing every single morning! I have hundreds of pictures!!! I can’t thank you enough Bridgette! 💗💗💗

Relaxing Getaway

We really appreciated being able to take our dog with us to this beautiful location! Our favorite part was the screened in front porch. Loved sitting there for morning coffee and was a life saver when the bugs came out in the evening. The beach is sandy but the lake is rocky and water shoes are super helpful. Had a lovely fire right on the beach. Make sure to bring a beach umbrella if you’re looking for shade and beach chairs. The only thing that was annoying was the bright sun in the bedroom starting at about 5:30am. Beautiful sunrise but could definitely use better blinds in the front room. Overall, very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Lakeside Relaxation

The cottage was exactly as listed. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The views of the lake and sunrise were stunning. The location was peaceful and it had a nice beach. Bridgette was quick to respond and nice to work with. Our dog loved swimming every day too! Awesome stay!

Lovely location!

Had some issues with checking in due to a wind storm that hit the night before and knocked down some power lines. It was clear this was a new listing and they were working out some logistical kinks, but the home is lovingly taken care of and we really enjoyed our stay! The fire pit especially was incredible

Just what we needed

We came to the UP to see family and normally stay in one of the local hotels. Got tired of kids running in halls and lack of privacy so this time we decided to try something different and man am I glad we did. This place was nice, clean and quiet.. out of the way and secluded but no to far from town.. steps from the water.. amazing sunrises... simply awesome. Treat yourself if you have the chance.. you won't regret it

Great location

Location, location, location...and black flies. The cottage is lovely, with a fantastic view. Easy access to the area. The screened-in porch is awesome. If you are "plus size", be aware the bathroom, in particular the shower stall, is quite small. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing!!!

My wife and I were mesmerized by everything in this property. The coziness of the cottage but large enough to accommodate a family of 4 very comfortably. The views are spectacular, especially in the master bedroom. The screened in porch was such a nice touch, our go to for our morning coffee. The sound of the lake splashing and the sand in our tows was extremely emotive. The best part was that time slowed down for us, and it was amazing. What a magical place.

Bark River MI Trip

My friend and I rented this house for a relaxing girls weekend and we loved it! The house was clean and cozy with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan right from the bedroom window. We were able to have a campfire right on the beach, and relax in-front of the water! We will definitely be renting this house again…. I can’t wait!

Quaint place on Lake Michigan

We loved our stay on Lake Michigan. This place had everything we needed and was the right price! A group of 4 adults is the perfect number of people for this residence. Bridgette is a great host and very fast with her communication. Will try to stay again!

Great little cabin!

We enjoyed our stay! It is ideal for 4 or fewer people. The screened in porch and amazing view of the lake was top notch, especially the master bedroom. The mostly private soft sandy beach was a pleasant surprise. The other great thing was the level of seclusion in general due to the distance from the highway and the dead end road leading to the cabin. Would love to stay there again.
