Stunning House on the Bay in the Beautiful Upper Penninsula of Michigan

This beautiful house on the bay in the Upper Peninsula has an amazing view. On the main level there is a guest bedroom, dining room, kitchen area and family room and sun room. Step out side the sliding door and enjoy the beautiful clear water for a day of swimming, peaceful walks on the beach and bon fires at night. During the day you can go fishing of the pier at the Cedar River State Harbor, have an amazing breakfast and lunch at Cedar River Plaza (Sue's Two). Shopping can be had 30 miles in each direction from M-35 to either Marinette, WI or Escanaba, MI. There is also fine dining in both towns.

Beautiful Beach House

Trip couldn't have gone better, kids loved swimming and playing on the amazing beach and having fires and watching the full moon come up at sunset and are already asking when can we go back.

Wonderful hidden gem!

This home and location are a hidden gem - the house was beautiful and accommodating for adults and kiddos, the beach is very kid friendly - shallow for a long time with sand bars, and the host was great to communicate with - prompt responses and met us upon arrival to show us around the property before our stay. Wonderful memories were made on this vacation - I would highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful, peaceful and comfortable escape!

This home is beautiful! The views are gorgeous! We loved our nightly fires on the beach and the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful! A little noise from the road but the views and sounds of the waves make up for it! We highly recommend and would book again!

Peaceful Beauty

We like having access to the highway a few yards from the house. The traffic is audible, but having easy access to the main road as well as the lake behind the house is great for us. We have stayed here 3 different times and feel very comfortable while enjoying less contact with all the things that overload a life the rest of the year. The sounds and wildlife of Lake Michigan just remove any anxieties.

Relaxation and Beauty

Our second time here. Live the sound of the waves and the light of both the moon and the sun as they become visible at horizon and reflect on the water. This home has many kitchen tools to cook and bake if wishing to. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan...including islands in Door County across the lake. Located along a good highway....doesn't take long to drive to a small town or larger town.

A little piece of heaven

All that one needs to know is that I cried all the way home and am still sad. Sad that I miss this piece of heaven soooooo much!!! If there was a way to rate higher than a 5 I would have. From check in to check out the entries process was seamless. Amazing host, beautiful home, incredible setting...what else can you ask for. A little piece of heaven is what you need. Book today and you'll want to come back again and again. Count me in for next summer Kathie. Im taking in 2 weeks.xxxooo

Just what we needed

A great week at a place right on the beach. The property is gorgeous and the water was perfect. It was a little hard with no wifi but probably good for us! There is no house phone and limited cell service and it’s fairly close to the road but it really didn’t bother us at all. Kathie always responded quickly if I had questions. I hope we make it back here soon!

Peace and quiet!

Large lot and peaceful except that it is on the highway but when you look out front over the water you forget about the traffic behind. The house was lovingly appointed very clean and comfortable. Towns are not close and no internet so you are forced to sit back and relax, great opportunity to finish my books.

Reconnecting

Beautiful & relaxing. All you could need within the home....minus Wi-Fi. We loved every minute of our time spent here: walking...wading...puzzles...reading...visiting all the familiar places like Fox Park...Devils Creek...Pemene Falls....Cedar River... the Fishing Museum....the Menominee Museum...the places some family had lived...visting friends & family. Amazing!!!

This home is beautiful! It was perfect for the 7 of us with parents in bedrooms and kids on pullouts. The kitchen is incredible and inspired us to make pancakes in the morning. The most amazing part is that the home is so close to the water! It was steps to the beach and lake. The kids were in the water all day. In the mornings the water was so calm and when it got windy the kids enjoyed the waves. This place is a slice of heaven and we hope to be back again next summer! The hosts were really responsive and easy to work with, too! A+++
