Trip to visit with family and friends

We are very senior citizens so the comfort is very important to us. This house was very comfortable. The location was great. In the heart of town with easy access. There is a wonderful bakery around the corner, I walked.

Perfect family stay

We had such an enjoyable stay at this property in Lake Charles. It is just as comfortable and welcoming as shown in the pictures. There was plenty of space for the five of us. We took advantage of the kitchen and enjoyed visiting on the back patio. My parents were VERY happy with their stay and we truly wish we could have stayed threre again when had to abruply come back a weekend ago. We will always look to book here when in Lake Charles.

Quick trip to visit family...

Super easy check in, and super clean! Loved how cozy this house felt!!! Had every amenity needed for cooking (including spices-super grateful for that)! My family came to have a short trip to visit our daughter who goes to McNeese. It isn't crazy close to the college, but Lake Charles is a pretty small town...the distance didn't disappoint! We will stay here again!

Lake Charles Getaway

We enjoyed the stay in Lake Charles. Other than an initial TV issue, and a ceiling fan malfunction, the stay was comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and helped with the tv issue while getting her kids to baseball practice. Her attention was much appreciated!

This was the second time we have stayed at this cute little house. Location is great and the house has everything you need for your stay. We loved relaxing on the back deck. Totally beats staying at a crowded hotel. Only downside is the bedroom at the front of the house had a squeaky bed that anytime you rolled over it made lots of noise. Other than that…We’ll stay here again when we come visit friends/family.

Cozy. Clean. Cute.

The house was very cute and well decorated. It had all the basics you’d need for a comfortable stay. We didn’t use any of the other beds, but the queen size bed was comfy and the linen was clean and soft. Everything in the kitchen was in good shape and in working order. Nice large TVs and the availability of wifi was a plus. We’ve stayed in homes with no wifi, so this isn’t always standard. I had a little difficulty figuring out the thermostat, but that was our only issue and it was a very tiny, insignificant issue. My husband figured it out quick and we were good to go! The house is close to the casinos, but the stay was cheaper and just all around more comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no issues during our stay. The owners communicated with us throughout the entire process and were very polite and attentive. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back, again, soon!

Christmas Getaway

This house was perfect for our family getaway before Christmas. It is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do and was the perfect size and layout. When we had questions or issues, Brandi was very responsive and worked to get them resolved quickly. I will look to see if the Cajun Cottage is available again the next time I travel to Lake Charles.

Granddaughters Birthday weekend

Family came drown from Virginia with her baby and there were to many to stay with son. This was so much better than a hotel. We could enjoy each other in the morning with coffee. Then in the evening.

Cute and cozy little home

Better then the pictures!

This property had the perfect amount of space, and even appeared bigger then the pictures showed. Fully stocked kitchen allowing us to make breakfast.

Amazing property.. amazing communication with owner/ manager we were there during a heat wave and the air conditioner could not keep up in one room. They brought a portable air unit immediately

Wedding Weekend

This was the perfect place for my family to stay and get ready for my niece’s wedding at the cathedral. Plenty of space for all 5 of us to spread out and not be on top of each other.

Gambling Vacay

The place was amazing. Had a small hiccup getting in the front door but the manager was quick in her response and was extremely helpful in getting us in to the house. My cohorts in crime had a wonderful 4 days and would recommend this property to any that ask. Oh yeah, and the glow in the dark toilet seat was a nice touch.

Clean and great value

Easy to get in back door. Great Kitchen. Great washer/dryer. Other floors sway a little bit for my double leg amputation + prosthesis. Three steps between dining room and bedroom are different heights, and one is 7-8 inches tall. Non carpeted floor makes it easier to get around. Roku TV great (same as at home) Neighborhood quiet.

The house looked as good as in the pictures. Loved all the extras…. Like paper towels… dishwashing liquid and laundry detergents. Cooking oils and plenty of spices and seasonings😃
