My stay was far from what i expected. When i arrived at the location i gained access easily following host instructions. However before entering i was not happy that i could see straight inside as there weren't any curtains at glass entry door. Upon gaining access and walked throughout the apartment there was an open hole in the bedroom drywall. I contacted the host who apologized for his maintenance team. However when i entered the kitchen i was totally in shock to see mice droppings in drawers and on counter top. I immediately contacted the host who blamed his cleaning company. The host sent two workers who unfortunately only camr to vacuum the droppings and left me with mice glue traps. Waking up to the squealing of mice caught on the traps was nerve-wracking. I shared photos with the host. This is not a good place to stay.

It was clean quiet we had ami or issue with the window but they came immediately and fixed the issue definitely will book with them again thanks for the hospitality and we will be back soon

Good stay

It was a good stay for what we needed it for. The door knob on the door would not lock which felt unsafe, the top lock worked fine, but over all good experience and a good neighborhood. I would recommend this place when staying for a short period of time.

Great home in a nice neighborhood

I’m very happy with the choice I made in renting this home . Very nice quiet neighborhood . It was in the middle of where we wanted to be close to my family and my husband’s family so it worked out perfect for the both of us . I will definitely be back to rent ;))

Peaceful stay

We loved at how peaceful it was . Stores and restaurants nearby. We had no problem finding the place. Only thing we recommend is more blankets not enough blankets for 3 people. Other than that we enjoyed it. I would definitely rent again

2023 Parents Weekend

Good location for the our purpose. The place was a bit dated but functional. Was missing a few things but certainly usable. Host was easy to communicate with and was very reactive to anything we needed.

Great Communication!!

Great location and super communication with the host. We had an issue with the WiFi and the host went out of his way to troubleshoot and sent service from the company over. It was unfortunate, but they host did everything they could to address in a timely manner.One thing to note: If you're staying with family, there isn't a lot of plates or kitchen necessities like cookie sheets or colanders, etc. So if you plan on making dinner in, make sure to bring your own items.

Nice and Cozy Place to Rest your Head

My family and I had a nice stay here. The place is in a nice neighborhood. It is a house that is split up into 3 apartments. The listing showed a slightly different apartment than what we actually booked. The listing shows the top floor apartment but we were given the ground level. No major issues with that, but it did leave us questioning if we were in the right place when we opened the door. There were snacks on the counter and cold drinks in the fridge! It was such a nice touch and very welcomed after traveling and getting to our destination. The bed was okay but firm. I would recommend bringing your own pillow if possible (we did). The A/C units work great and keep the place nice and cool. The owner's communication is excellent. If you need anything, the owner is more than happy to assist! Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would absolutely come back for another visit.

Lovely, large, quiet -

If you are looking for a place to stay in this area; visiting friends, going to a concert at UBS arena, etc, you will enjoy Skaria's place. Walk in and you are amazed by the size of the place. Large living room, dining area and full kitchen. And she welcomes you with bottled water, crackers and organic snacks -perfect after a long trip. Super comfy bed - better than ours at home! Clean, great bath or shower and closet space. The neighborhood is quiet, super safe and within 5-15 minutes there are a lot of varieties of restaurants or fast food. We walked to the UBS arena both ways and the concert didn't end until after 11 PM. Skaria responds to your messages quickly. There are about a dozen steps to this second floor unit but they are well lit and very solid steps There's a nice deck and backyard as well. It's just what we needed after a long flight to LaGuardia. Felt at home right away and had a great 2 night stay. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure.

VRBO with Potential

I was sold by lower price and good reviews. I understand that one should expect reasonable flaws in a lower priced VRBO. Great owner communication. Upper level of a two bedroom house that is very spacious and quiet. Pleasant residential area near entertaining locations. Step stairs, curtainless glass patio door for security was a concern. Living room couches were miss matched and old and badly worn. Patio had a nice view but the lights did not work. Grill would be a nice add. Linen, towels and rug were miss matched old and badly worn but appeared to be clean. When I placed food on the counter, a roach appeared meaning that more cleaning and exterminating needed to be done. I left early. VRBO has great potential with a relatively small investment.

The check in process was easy. The instructions were clear and precise. Parking was a breeze as they have a driveway and street parking. Once I walked in I was a little confused because it didn't look anything like the pictures. I quickly figured out that the pictures must have been of the upstairs unit and I was in the downstairs unit. It was more updated and very spacious. First bad thing, in the morning when I was about to cook breakfast I found only one large pot. There wasn't any frying pans, no baking sheets, and the spatulas were brand new but still had the zip tie on them so I couldn't even use it. I didn't have scissors to cut it. I wish that was noted because I would have brought my own pots and pans. Second thing, during my stay I had to keep socks on because the floor felt sandy. I kept having to wipe the bottom of my feet. There was no mop or broom to sweep or clean anything. Third and worst part, during the night around 12:30am, the people upstairs were walking so hard and moving stuff that it woke me up. About 45 minutes of listening to that, I started hearing water run. After 5 minutes I got up to see what it was and water was pouring from the ceiling in the kitchen. Water was all over the island.I had to grab that one pot and put it under the leak to catch the water. Once again, no mop or broom to clean up anything.The ceiling was leaking for probably 10 minutes then it stopped. I sent a video/message to the owner Still no response. Very irresponsible.

This place was great for the price. Very homey atmosphere and feel. It was very spacious and comfortable. 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in each. The living room was spacious with plenty of seating and a dining area. A nice open floor plan to enjoy time together. The host is very accommodating and responsive. There were drinks and snacks stocked in fridge when we got there. (Very nice after long car ride) Towels, sheets, blankets, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies..... so pretty much everything you need to maintain while staying there. The only thing I could not find was a broom and dust pan. It was a great stay! The only thing that I did not like is that since everyone shares the very, very long drive way, if someone does not drive all the way up they do not leave space for anyone else... so my suggestion to host is to tell guests to pull all the way forward to allow for other guests. The people downstairs were not considerate of this so we had to find street parking the whole time. Not a big deal as there is plenty of spots. but it would have been nice to enjoy driveway too. Not the hosts fault. Everything other than that was fantastic!! :) Would definitely go back.
