Welcome the Cottage at Henry’s Station! This adorable 3 bedroom, 1.75 bath cottage is located in the heart of downtown Monument, Colorado! 5 minutes to the highway, close to Air Force Academy, Palmer Lake, & Colorado Springs. You will feel right at home as soon as you enter this 1200 sq. foot cottage. The living room is spacious yet cozy with a working wood-burning fireplace! There are new Amazon Fire Smart TV's located in the living room & primary bedroom. Feel free to log in to any app with your own account and start watching right where you left off at home. Each bedroom has an alarm clock with extra USB ports, a sound machine, fan, and extra blankets. The cottage is 1000 sq. feet of main level living- one step up into the kitchen/dining room + primary bedroom. The basement bunk room is located in the back of the house off the kitchen.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! From the cottage you can walk to downtown Monument - shops, restaurants & Limbach park are just south of the cottage. I-25, Exit 161 is only 4 minutes away. North on I-25 will take you to Castle Rock (25 minutes) and Denver (50 minutes). South will take you to Colorado Springs (12 minutes) and Pueblo (60 minutes).

Property Management Team

Overall the house was great. My only complaint is with the management company. An email (which I don't tend to check on vacation) was sent to me on Friday at 10:07 am and a text at 11:04 am, with no identifying information as to who the text message was from, indicating carpet cleaners would be coming between 9:30 and 10:00 am. We had already left for the day and when we came back there was stuff moved around in the bedroom and the carpets were wet. I called the company to find out who was in the home to find out they had sent the unidentified text. I asked why they didn't state who the text was from or why I was not called. She did not have an answer she just said she apologized. Having carpets cleaned while the home is occupied is not right. I understand wanting to maintain the cleanliness of the home; however it should have been done when the home was not occupied.

Cute little place!

We absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for our needs and the home was so well taken care of. Everything was clean and tidy when we got there. It is in a great location in Monument for walking to anything in the downtown district and nearby trails. We saw deer several times and enjoyed watching them. Overall it was just perfect for us!

Perfect Place

This is a perfect place. Was very nice and welcoming. My family and i absolutely enjoyed it. Its in a nice peaceful neighborhood and you're close to anything you want to do. We will definitely use this place again. Dont let the pics fool you, this house has more than plenty of space

Nice little cabin

The cabin was super clean, kitchen was well equiped and the living room looked amazing. Bedrooms were great, clean and spacious. Reasons for 4 star: 1. The keypad lock was falling apart. 2. Master bedroom had an attached bathroom with the door missing, there were door hinge marks on the door frame, so where is the door? 3. Side bedroom, bed was incredibly uncomfortable and every time I moved it creeked extremely loud that my fiancee would wake up.

Wedding get away

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was close to the wedding venue and I didn’t realize that little bonus. Monument is a quaint little town with just enough of everything we needed. Communication was wonderful between us and the host. The house had everything we needed especially a fire place. If I ever get back to CO I will definitely stay again.

Great Remodel

Made to feel wonderful by Host Kim. Good communications. Although the house is older, the upgrades and remodeling present as a well maintained, nicely furnished rental home. Two minutes to shopping and restaurants.

Great for our needs. Only issue was the electric lock not locking but owner responded right away and got us a key. Cute place and close to Colorado springs attractions.

New Years in Monument

Our family enjoyed celebrating the New Year and visiting family here. We have family in Castle Rock and Colorado Springs so Monument is the perfect middle ground. The home was clean, had plenty of space for a family of four, and was conveniently located in downtown Monument just off the highway. We would for sure stay again.

Great Stay!

This was such a cute place to stay. We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect spot for my family. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Kim was so great and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. The house was perfect & the location was great. Walked to lunch & shopping & short drive to dinner. The house is cozy bit was roomy enough for our group of 6 & we all loved it.

Wonderful for families

We had such an amazing time at this property. The house is set up so cute, our girls were so excited to have toys! Little accommodations like this were all around. Making our stay just that much nicer. It felt like we were house sitting for a friend- not just renting a place. The area is very nice for short travels to sight see or just walk around to the surrounding shops. The only thing that could have been any better… was to stay more days!

We had plenty of room for the 6 adults staying at this adorable cottage and the owners had everything you could want including coffee and basic staples including salt/pepper and toiletries. Would highly recommend.

Great location

The house was perfect for my husband and my sisters and I for the weekend while we were in town for a family wedding. It was conveniently located close to the historic downtown and only a couple minutes off the freeway. The house had everything you needed and was nicely decorated inside!
