Maravillosa casa de dos pisos directamente cruzando la calle desde Rainbow Lake.
Planta principal tiene un gran salón con chimenea de pie. Gran cocina y comedor y cable / DVD en la sala de estar. Un porche de descanso con spa se envuelve alrededor de su casa y se apoya en la charca de la rana. También en el nivel principal es un maestro rey dormitorio con baño de conexión. En el segundo nivel hay 3 dormitorios: uno principal cama king y baño, con puertas que dan a salir a la cubierta superior para disfrutar de las vistas. Las dos habitaciones restantes son habitaciones de tamaño queen, una con un patio privado. También hay un baño adicional completo en el segundo nivel. Por último, hay una sala adicional de la familia en el segundo nivel con cable / DVD.

Si te gusta la pesca, el esquí o simplemente para relajarse, nuestro hogar le ofrecerá todas las comodidades del hogar. Beautiful vacation home for family vacation

Home was truly lovely and equipped with everything. House was clean and comfortable for a family of 7. Our family spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the wonderful breeze. Would highly recommend this property.

Great group home.

Very accommodating for many adults. Real only drawback was the upstairs bedrooms had not enough air conditioning air flow. The fans that were provided were not enough to make it comfortable at night when it was 93 degrees during the day. Upstairs was 10 degrees warmer than downstairs.

I didn't care for the tree in the living room or the moss over the lights in the downstairs bedroom. Needs a new mattress in upstairs master bedroom. Over all it was ok though. Shannon was very nice to work with.

The master bedroom upstairs is a newer mattress and does have a feather topper. It can be taken off if you prefer a firmer sleep

The TREE House

Overall the house and our stay was very nice. The decor was interesting with the tree feature in the living room and other nature themed features around the house. The outside was overgrown with weeds and bushes that needed trimming badly. Found out that their caught covid and was not able to clean the property for a few months. He did show up as we were leaving. A little disappointed that the pond was dry but that was outside of anybodys control. The house was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable. The biggest down side was the closets and most of the dresser drawers were full of cloths to include underwear. Seems like this is standard since I have seen this in other VRBO's we had stayed in. The owner was very responsive to any questions and issue we had and did her best to correct them right away. We would definitely return but the decor was not our style. Thanks Shannon!

Our property is basically natural landscape with a pond and we do maintain it once a month during the summer months so it does not grow out of control. Our scheduled service was delayed a few weeks because of covid. Almost every closet is ready for any clothing but we do keep jackets and ski wear there year round. Most rooms have dressers with several option drawers for their use but in the master I do keep a few drawers as it is our vacation home as well.

Comfortable property, needs some TLC outside on the patios but AC was a life-saver.

We spent 3 days here in July 2018 - it was 85 degrees in Pinetop at the time so the AC being available at the house was a total life-saver (it only got down to 72 or so in the middle of the night). The house is older, feels like a well-loved house someone started renting and not a professional rental. Closets and Garage have personal items in them, wear and tear on common items like door hardware, but it's not a big deal. Just an FYI for folks that VRBO/Airbnb a lot and know the difference between professional rental and a personal home. Kitchen is VERY well stocked, bedding was comfortable, towels were clean but a bit dingy and old - again, this is the 'not a professional rental' aspect. The water pressure was a NICE surprise... it's awesome for some reason (I've not know Pinetop to be a high-pressure city) but showers were very satisfying. The 'Pond' isn't really a pond... it's looks like a runoff/drainage area out front of the house and it was empty when we were there. Just be aware if you have thoughts of your kids playing near a pond and having fun. The property is fairly overgrown so not a grassy clearing for kids to play in. One downside to the property is that is has a series of disparate patios, all of them small, none of them connected and all of them in need of being re-built due to wood rot. I don't think there is a terribly private/comfortable place to sit outside. To that point, the hot tub is on the back side of the house sort of back by where you park... which happens to be a small communal parking area facing 4 other houses... you would NEVER have a romantic evening in the hot tub where it currently is. If you need a comfortable place to sleep and use as a base-station, this place is great. If you are trying to get away into the woods and want to have coffee on the patio and relax in a magazine-esque setting, this isn't the right choice at all. Fortunately for us, we just needed a base station so it worked.

We always appreciate reviews but I do in this case want to respond to some things said in the review. We do have a pond and yes it is a run off from Rainbow lake. Being that we are in drought like conditions there is little water in the pond currently. There are photos on the website where the water is full and semi full but we cannot control weather. Also the house was built in 2006 so I don't feel that would be considered an older house. And the yard is natural landscape with the surroundings of the pond. We have added a walkway and some other plants but it is not a manicured setting for the house or yard as shown with the wildflowers in the photo on the website.

The perfect home away from home.

The owners of this place are very quick to respond and very accommodating. The house is so warm and inviting and even had Christmas decorations inside and out. You can tell this place is well cared for. There is PLENTY of seating both upstairs and down and a closet full of games. The beds are warm & comfy and there's lots of extra blankets, just in case you need another layer. We needed a good size house that could accommodate 7 adults a 1 child and this place truly delivered! One of the best places we've stayed at. We will definitely be back.

Perfect house

We absolutely loved the house. The location was great - we loved sitting on the porch watching the sunrise and found the house to be very comfortable. The master bath is luxurious and the bed was very comfortable! Everything from booking to checking in to communication during our stay was awesome - will definitely stay again next time we visit!!!

Great location, perfect for families

We really enjoyed staying in this unique home. It has a very cute cottage vibe. It was within walking distance to the lake and has a little pond right next to it. My kids loved spending time exploring around the water. We would definitely stay here again.

Long weekend cut short

The house was great, spacious and very well stocked. Unfortunately, we had to leave very abruptly because 2 members of our party were in a terrible bike/car accident. Host Shannon was fantastic, crediting us with the night we didn't stay, and following up to see how the guys were doing. There was an initial mix-up with the cleaning crew on the dates for cleaning, so the place hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. Shannon acted fairly quickly to have them come in while we went out for dinner, which is why I gave only 4 stars for cleanliness.

Cute house, nice get away

Nice home, owner very responsive, she even ensured we had fishing poles and a tackle box when she found out my kids really wanted to go fishing on our trip! Air conditioning was a huge plus during the unseasonably hot weather. Jacuzzi was a great touch and was immaculate as was the rest of the home. Kitchen fully stocked, fridge was pristinely clean. A few little fixes needed like sliding glass door locks not in proper working order and one bathroom has a running toilet but those things paled in comparison to the rest of the great things. Great central Pinetop location, close to (driving distance) hiking, fishing, etc. Would stay again!

Beautiful Quaint Home

We so enjoyed our stay..the home was perfect, the ambiance of the interior was so beautifully decorated, everything you could possibly need. Shannon was always readily available and kind. The lake views were beautiful, even with the drought and wildfires. Would highly recommend this property you will not be disappointed our stay was full of great memories that we will cherish and definitely stay again when we visit the area next year.

Cottagecore Vibes with Plenty of Amenities

We had a bigger group of about 7 adults stay together for an extended weekend. We had an amazing time! The hot tub, the front porch swing, the grill, the generally nice layout and amenities were all just what we needed. It was a beautiful place with a cottage-core vibe to it. The group appreciated seeing the wildlife, hanging out in the hottub, and making use of the Roku to watch programming together after a long day. The kitchen is well featured, so we had plenty of what we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. Will definitely consider staying here again!

Pinetop-Lakeside get away

The is a very nice house. This house is very close to go-cart racing & fishing. There are grocery stores were within a 5 min drive. We had a great time and we hope to stay at this property again.

Great house

I traveled with my husband and six children to this location. The owner is very communicative and accommodating. Shannon really cares about her guests. It was close to everything that we wanted to do, and we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at the Cottage at Frog Pond. The home is very spacious with great comfy beds. We loved the views of the pond and watching the ducks and geese and snow falling. Gorgeous photo opportunities. Shannon was so helpful with any questions or needs we had. Thank you!
