Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We have stayed at The beach club resort and spa year after year and never had an issue, this year was different condo 1007C was a nightmare..as soon as we walked in it smelled weird...then started finding black mold on furniture inside the condo..I refused to stay and got moved to another rental..I dont see how they can even keep renting this place out with the way it is

It was an ok place

The place was clean but the first thing I noticed was an odd smell (even for the beach). The pics in the listing must have been taken a while back after fresh paint and photography set up. Walls were scuffed up, a lot of the furniture was rearranged and was run down. Especially the 2nd bedroom. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. VERY thin bed spread and no extra blankets. The tv in the 2nd room did not have a working remote so we had to share the one from the living room. No ice maker and no ice cube trays. Dryer didn’t work. Kitchen faucet dripped. On the first day, we got a message just as we got to the beach saying someone would be arriving in 45 mins to change out our dishwasher. We went all the way back up only to have the repair guy tell us he already replaced our room last week.

Love Beach Club

We love The Beach Club, but this room seemed to just miss the mark. There was mold on the shower curtain along with soap scum and the furniture in the living room looked like it had dried food on it.

Love the Beach Club! The price was great and loved the large balcony. The things I was disappointed in was no access to the Beach Club clubhouse pool and tiki bar. I feel like that should have been made known and the bedding was super thin, glad I brought a blanket from home, lastly not enough towels and wash cloths. I had to wash every day so everyone could shower.

Disappointed

This condo has not been well maintained. It sleeps 6, but there were only 4 forks with plenty of knives, spoons, and cooking utensils. There were no pillows or cover for the fold out couch. The chair in the master bedroom was shredded. The ice maker did not work, and one of the dials for the stove top was missing. These was one dishtowel, but no hot pads. Sorry I can't be more positive about the unit, but these issues need to be addressed.

Not as expensive but there’s a reason for that.

I was surprised to find a rate this low at the Beach Club. Since I was by myself and not splitting the cost with anyone else, I chose this unit. It hasn’t been updated but that’s to be expected because of the price. Overall it was fine. Only issue is the ice maker doesn’t work and the clothes drier is super noisy. (Don’t run it while your kids are trying to sleep.) When I texted asking about the ice maker, I got a text back saying “thanks for contacting us” but that’s it. If you’re looking for a budget friendly unit this is it but don’t expect anything lavish. It was just what I needed.

Don’t let the pics fool you

The condo was worn out. No curtain or rod in front bed room so exterior lights were bright. Shower curtains have seen better days. Sheets didn’t fit and bedding old, stained and wore out. The furniture is faded.

We loved our stay!

Absolutely wonderful location right on the beach! Overall everything was wonderful, never felt like we were over crowded anywhere from the beach area to having to wait on the elevator. Whenever we saw any staff they were always friendly and greeted us with a smile. Our room was very nice although there was some trash that had not been taken out and there was dirty kitchen potholders/oven mitts in the washing machine. But other that that it was very well kept. Our unit was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much and will look to book again in the future.

Best spot so far!

I lived in OBA for 5 years but had to move for work. I’ve stayed all over Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Perdido Key, but this stay at Fort Morgan was my all time favorite! Relaxing, Luxurious, not crowded, with amenities all around! I will be back to the Beach Club soon!

Beach Club Stay

We stayed in a Beach Club condo 3/6 to 3/9. The unit was very clean, the kitchen well appointed and the ocean views were wonderful. The resort location is rather remote. There is a security guard to allow you onto the grounds once they verify that you are a guest or owner. The grounds have nice landscaping including flowers and porch swings to sit on and view the ocean. The resort had a couple of restaurants on site although one was closed due to remodeling. All other restaurants require a drive by car. That was the only downside to our stay.
