This townhouse is located within The Salt Pond complex. Level one offers a kitchen, living area, screened porch, primary suite with a walk-in closet, a washer/dryer, and a garage. Level two offers a primary bedroom suite with a walk-in closet, and a sitting area and deck. Two BluRay players are provided for your entertainment.

The Salt Pond community also includes an outdoor pool (with a kiddie pool), three tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and a clubhouse with a heated indoor pool and spa (open September-June only) and fitness equipment.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Effective January 1, 2024, guest amenity passes will be provided at no additional charge. Fees still apply for golfing. The passes must be picked up and returned to the Vacasa local office and a fee of $50.00 for each lost/unreturned pass will be assessed.
Guests may reserve tee times for the on-site public golf course at the pro shop.
Salt Pond community charges guests directly for amenity passes to use their amenities. The fees are $50 per person (16 and over) for a 7 day pass or $25 per person (16 and over) for a 3 day pass. This must be purchased from the community Monday-Friday with a check. They do not accept any other payment methods.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within ten days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Property Great, Property Mgmt a zero

My issue is that the front deadbolt was inadvertently locked. I called for assistance and waited over 2 hours with no response from the local property mgmt including the team members who were supposed be on call for such emergencies. The representative, who was in located Jamaica, indicated she attempted to call/internal message 10 times all local RE personal who were supposed to be responsible to assist. She was unable to get a response from anyone. Luckily, late at night, we found a neighbor who had a spare key, otherwise we would have potentially been locked out all night. After all of that, no one from Vacasa’s local team ever called to check on the issue!! I am disgusted with Vacasa and will avoid using you in the future. This type of problem would have been immediately handled by the prior RE mgmt company. Clearly your processes & procedures do not work and the local mgmt team is inept.

Not clean

We could tell as soon as we arrived that the floors were very dirty. We have a toddler & her hands & feet were gray after crawling around. She found (& almost ate) a white pill on the kitchen floor that did not belong to anyone in our family. We swept the whole bottom floor & got tons of dirt. The carpets were dirty & the area rug was horrible. The tables & hand rail were filthy when we wiped them. My husband called Vacasa & they did send cleaning people out the next day to do the floors & it was somewhat better but the tile was still dirty so we had to put a blanket down for our kid. The furniture was worn out & not comfortable. The location right on the golf course wasn't great. Paying an extra $50 for the amenities is ridiculous, they were nothing special. We would not book here again.

Vacation from hell.

The fact that I had to clean the place properly after the cleaning lady left was insane. She was just getting there at 3:40 pm. She contractually only had 20 minutes to clean. We were told our room would be ready by 4pm. I have pictures of all the dirt that was left behind. It took till almost 6pm to get our bedding and towels. Two of my children had to make their own beds. We had roaches and ticks in our house. Every time I complained of something I was told it would be taken care of no one showed up. They were quick to apologize. The thing is apologies don’t get the problem corrected. I did ask for some kind of discount. They said I would get half the cleaning deposit refunded. But they also said they would send out the cleaning company to redo it that never happened. They also said they were going to send out an inspector which never happened. Every time I complained I was given empty promises of getting things fixed. We just adopted five young sisters two weeks before our vacation. This was a gift to them. They had never been to the shore. I feel this was the worst way to show our kids our love. Thank you sarcastically.
