This is one of the cabins at Promontory. We're already members and it's great for us to be so close to the clubhouse, restaurants, etc.

Great property and location!

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying in the cabin. From the bathrooms to the kitchen, the essentials were stocked. The layout is perfect to spend time as a family and enjoy separate bedrooms for the teenagers. The location is great with regards to the ski slopes and restaurants. The neighborhood is beautiful!

Perfect Fall Getaway

The property felt like a home as opposed to a rental unit which was so great. It was well equipped with kitchen supplies and plenty of towels:) The owner was very responsive and helpful. We had no issues during our stay. We would stay again!

Ski week stay

Had a wonderful stay at the Trapper cabin. The location and proximity to the Shed was great. The cabin was well-appointed, everything (e.g., kitchen supplies) you would need. Mark was super responsive with any questions from how does X or Y work. All around good stay. Look forward to staying again in the future.

Tapper Cabin

It was an excellent stay in a winter wonderland. We were able to gather around a large table and spend quality family time. The hot tub was an excellent plus after fun days of snow skiing. The neighborhood is gorgeous, especially with all the Christmas lights. The host corresponded throughly and quickly. It was a great experience and we highly recommend a stay at Trapper Cabin!

Great House and Location

My group of 8 really enjoyed the house. We were in Park City for a golf trip. The property is closely located to the Promontory Dye Course and other amenities. The kitchen comes supplied with everything one needs to cook at home. The house has a great deck.

My wife and I and another couple have rented this home in March over the last few years. Mark, the owner is very easy to deal with and responsive to your texts and even gives his cell phone if needed. Very comfortable cabin with all the amenities and kitchen supplies you need. Wood burning fireplace. Very comfortable beds. Nice place to stay if you want to get away from the crowds in Park City itself. Will stay there again in the future!

A little piece of advice for those who want to experience everything Park City has to offer; don't rent this place... We found it very difficult to leave the cabin and rarely left the Promontory community. The cabin is very comfortable with excellent furnishings, sheets, pillows, pots, pans, you name it. The Promontory community is as nice as you'll find anywhere with something for everyone. We plan on coming back as often as possible. A wonderful stay.

As the owner, the first sentence in this review got my attention. I quickly realized it was 'tongue in cheek' and meant as a compliment to the Trapper Cabin and Promontory; a compliment to the location, amenities and views. I thank my new friend from the UK,very much, for choosing to stay at the Cabin and for taking the time to write a very nice review. Promontory is an amazing and beautiful resort and the town of Park City is an easy ten minute drive from the resort. All of the guests, who have rented this property, have commented that the pictures do not do the cabin justice. Thank you ,again.

Fantastic Trapper Cabin in Promontory

Overall great experience! Mark was easy to communicate with and prompt to reply. House layout was just as expected for a trapper cabin. Clean cabin-like decor, instead of modern which we enjoyed throughly. Comfortable beds! Well appointed kitchen with every thing you could possibly need. Hot tub was on when we arrived, but there were no directions for use so we didn’t try it, since we didn’t know when chemicals were balanced last. This place is beautiful and great value for staying in promontory club with all of the comforts of home. We will be rebooking in the future for sure!

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for the nice review, I'm glad everything worked out for you. Sorry about no directions for the hot tub, it's fairly new. Our property manager comes every week to check the hot tub, clean and check chemicals. It's left on so that it is ready for each guet, and the water is normally changed after each guest. I hope you are able to book again and use the hot tub next time. Mark

Great family Park City home!

We stayed here with our family to enjoy all the wintery offerings of Park City. This house didn't disappoint! The location, the comfortable home, and the scenery were everything we wanted. We loved seeing the huge herd of elk making their way around Promentory. Our family loved sitting around a large fire in the fireplace every night. And the hot tub was a very welcome treat at the end of ski days! Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others!

Convenient location to the club. House needs a bit updating. The bar/dining area and the patio had too much furniture for the space and was difficult to navigate and utilize.
