Beautifully Crafted Log Home, furnished for the ultimate in comfort and relaxation! Enjoy an amazing natural forest view from the large covered back deck with constant beautiful wildlife visitors. The fire pit is perfectly set up for a night roasting s'mores or just hanging out by the fire. Tucked away from all of the noise and traffic but minutes to the amazing attractions Beech Mountain has to offer: Buckeye Lake Recreation Center (1.2 mi), Entrance to Beech Mountain Ski Resort (3 mi), Fred's Mercantile (4 mi), Over 40 Hiking and Nature Trails!

Up to 2 dogs allowed with pet fee ($35 per night)

Ring Spotlight Camera, located at front door of the cabin showing front steps, driveway and bear cage trash area. For security purposes only.

Fishing Buckeye Lake: NC Trout License required age 16 and older
Buckeye Lake and Recreation Center: Available to guests for a small daily or weekly rate. Includes a gym, basketball courts, baseball fields, a kids room and more.
Access to Beech Mountain club facilities with accompanying transfer fee.

We loved the cabin and the Hosts! Communication was great! They made check-in and check-out a very smooth process for us, being first time users of Vrbo. The cabin was just what we were looking for. It was very clean and provided every amenity we needed for our 4-night stay. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a great time in Banner Elk! Our cabin accommodated our family of four, plus our dog, very well. They even provided dog blankets which was perfect for our pup.

Great stay for our family. Short drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort and other restaurants and attractions in the village of Beech Mountain. Also a short drive to numerous hiking trails. Abundant wildlife all over the mountain. Buy some ingredients to make s'mores at Fred's Mercantile and relax by the outdoor firepit.

Communication with host was excellent and lockbox key provided for an easy checkin. The cabin was as described and located in a large private developed area. We found the drive off of the main road to be a bit harried with sharp switchbacks and many side roads. Although the roads were well marked, we did not venture out after dark. A good choice for a quite relaxing stay.

Quiet & Cozy Getaway

We had a great stay at the cabin tucked back off a quiet road. The dogs loved hanging on the back deck looking for deer. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Comfy and clean linens. Great communication with hosts and a great value. Would recommend to a friend or stay again!

Peaceful Cabin

We had a great stay at this cabin. We found a hiking trail near by and had a wonderful hike with our dog. The wood burning fireplace was fantastic! The bed was so comfortable! We sat on the back deck most of the time and enjoyed the cooler weather. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic getaway

Beautiful cabin in a private setting. Our group of 4 had a wonderful time and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the firepit and the beautiful deck. Would definitely stay here again.
