This was our second stay at this property. It has been the perfect place for us to rest up and unwind while in town for an annual tournament. Kitty is an incredibly kind and responsive host. The house is comfortable and homey. If we are back in the area, we will not hesitate to book with her again!

Host was easy to contact and plesant to deal with. Home was clean and nicely remodeling. kitchen was well equipped counters and appliances very nice and updated. Bathroom/ shower as well very nice and remodeled . Very small but clean and comfortable home for 2 or 3 people

Reunion

This property was perfect for two. It was clean and set up with the amenities needed for our stay in Topeka. A big plus was its proximity to our family reunion and center city. Communication with the owner was seamless with the VRBO app. We would definitely recommend this property for a comfortable place to stay.

Great Place AMAZING Owner

Kitty is the sweetest, kindest person you will find. The house was clean and cute and in a nice, quiet neighborhood, with an outdoor area too. Just what we needed! Don't hesitate to rent this little house. You won't be disappointed.

Travel Tournament

We stayed at this property while we were in town for a big tournament in Lawrence. Nearly the entire city of Lawrence was booked. It was totally worth the 25 minute drive to/from the gym. Clean, comfortable, ample space to cook our own meals and rest up. The shower was a definite bonus!!! We will definitely book this house again in the future when we return for our annual tournament. Thanks for your prompt communication and for a lovely place to stay!

Quaint & Cozy! Would definitely stay again!

All the amenities you need in this cute little cottage! I loved the window chair where I relaxed and read my book and drank my morning coffee. The kitchen had anything/everything you needed for cooking a nice meal. I loved all the little details like the lamp when you walk in. Pamphlets of local entertainment and restaurants. Lots of lights and fans. We also enjoyed the nice backyard! The host, Kitty was so kind and responsive! Like I said, I would stay again if visiting Topeka!

Just the 3 of Us

The property was as listed, Cute and Comfy. It was just the right size fir what we needed. It was great for 2 adults and a child, if you need space for another adult or teenager, go with a 2 bedroom. The unit was clean and had everything we needed, from paper plates to laundry detergent. There was no television in the bedroom. No flat baking sheets or spatulas, but those are ready fixes. Overall great stay.

Above & Beyond!!!!

Kitty & her husband are wonderful! There was a pretty bad storm that did some damage surrounding their home and knocked out the power. We were fine, and before the storm even passed, they were out in the yard in a torrential downpour picking up limbs & repairing some electrical things. Kitty helped us get where we needed to be & was very responsive & communicative! The house is super cute - remodeled with nice appliances, fun decor & some cool tile work!

Cute, comfy, and clean

The home is very welcoming and nicely decorated. They communication from the host was awesome from booking through checkout. Lots of thoughtful little extras around the home, like laundry baskets and bottled water. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family with young children. Our daughter (six) felt the pull out chair was uncomfortable to sleep, so if you have a princess, I recommend using blankets under the sheets to soften it up a bit. There wasn’t a way to create privacy between the pull out chair and queen bed. It wasn’t a problem for our little family at all, just something other guests might find helpful to know. Over all, this is hands down one of the most comfortable vacation homes we’ve stayed at.

The place is very small

It is an older but cute little house. The backyard looks like it would be pleasant to use in cooler weather especially the firep pit. The extra sleeping is disappointing. It may sleep 4 but that should say only 2 adults. Adults can not sleep comfortably on the extra "beds".

We are new to VRBO but have used VRBO in different City's ourselves so we thought we would bring our little comfy home for others to enjoy while their away from home.

Its cute, comfy & close to the heart of downtown area. Quiet neighborhood in Oakland. Guest The bedroom has a Queen bed, along with a chair that folds out to a twin bed, couch is a futon. Each have their own bedding.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Please note during the Winter time there is no access to the outside grill or patio furniture however you will have seating around the firepit
