Each bedroom has a comfortable king bed with soft linens and plenty of pillows. Each bedroom has a smart TV mounted on the wall. Enjoy a well stocked kitchen and pantry. Sit on the front covered porch or enjoy the fenced in back yard deck anytime of day! Plenty of parking.

The house was nicely remodeled and decorated. The location was fairly quiet.We didn't have any issue checking in or with communication. The big issue was that every room had a plug in air freshener. When we opened the door the perfume smell was extremely overwhelming. We immediately opened the windows and removed the air fresheners to a closet. Two of the people in our group have some sensitivity to perfumes and were ill the first night. The sheets were also very heavily perfumed. Our family time was not very enjoyable under the circumstances. Even leaving the windows open the full next day really didn't resolve the heavy odor. I would encourage the host to re-evaluate their practice as it really did ruin our stay at the home, and I am sure there are others with allergies or asthma that would have a similar issue.

I would not have selected a better VRBO for my trip from Louisiana had I come and scouted beforehand. Honestly and simply put, this place was awesome.

We had a great time! Location is perfect , great neighborhood just like our first time staying there two years ago. Made us feel like home! Will definitely return If you’re looking for a nice relaxing place with a convenient location this is great. For us everything was about 15 min away or less so it was great

Short stay

The host Deb was very responsive and helpful with check-in. The house was clean when we arrived. There were also fresh baked cookies for us. We were in town for a wedding and needed an early check in for changing prior to our event, the host was very accommodating. ***One thing for the host to check out is a possible clogged plumbing vent as there is noise in the kitchen sink after flushing the downstairs toilet.

Topeka breath of fresh air

Deb was an absolute amazing host. It was the sweetest to walk into fresh flowers and cookies. The home was decorated in such a fashion it reminded me of a homes and garden house. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to have our own space. The dogs loved the backyard. Plenty of room for them to stretch and explore.We definitely hope to visit this location again in the near future.Thanks again Deb!

Blizzard Bash Derby

This property was perfect, close to our venue and all the amenities you could ask for. The most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on in a vrbo, very clean and plenty of room for all 6 of us. The host were amazing, fresh baked cookies upon arrival and excellent communication. Will definitely book again!

Volleyball tournament

This property was great! Roomy and clean and had all the extras in case you forgot something. We needed to be in Lawrence, KS for a volleyball tournament but all the hotels were booked. This was a much better option for us. It was a short drive to Lawrence and this was much better than a hotel.

Best house ever

You have a fabulous home. Would love to stay here again in the future. I slept better last night with your great bed. All the little things you had stocked was unbelievable. Great backyard. And a circular drive. I loved this home and neighborhood. And chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. How special is that.

Wonderful Stay!

This home was quaint, very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend with family. It was tastefully decorated and quiet. Our family loved the front porch and back deck. We drank coffee together and enjoyed the serene atmosphere. Our host was very responsive. I’d stay there again.

Super clean, wonderful communication, chocolate chip cookies left for us, and access to the snack pantry and waters … such a welcome gem of a place at the start of our cross country journey.
