Game night can go on for hours in the game room! Play cards or challenge a family member to Foosball for the weeks bragging rights. With a full-size refrigerator, ice maker, wine cooler, and bar w/seating this spot is popular among guests! Spend the evenings at the poolside tiki bar and enjoy the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean's waves crashing on the shore. For sports lovers, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts are available in the community.

Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay immensely, especially the lovely neighborhood. The decor is really well done. `The top floor air conditioner struggled to keep us cool in the dinner hour when cooking took place.

Great location!

Great location (very short walk to beach). House was plenty big to accommodate a large party. Great to have a pool and hot tub on site. Well stocked kitchen. Cleanliness could be improved - both in the house and hot tub. And there were some non-working things like the surround sound.

House was clean and just like the the pictures on the VRBO listing. We reported a few minor issue and the property manager responded very timely and fully addressed the issues. Everyone at Coastal Realty was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Great location great house

The layout of the house was great and it was close walking distance to the beach. The pool, hot tub and activities at the house were nice as well. We got the linen package as an add on. My only beef is that the online total with VBRO did not match what we owed as the rental company could not add the linen package to the total on the VBRO site, which we didn’t know until we did our final payment. Also because it us through the rental agency, the deposit listed with VBRO is not the total of the deposit needed. The rental company had good communication and was quick to respond during our stay.

We had one minor issue that was attended to immediately by the office. Leading up to the rental I had several questions which the owner answered quickly and honestly. Unfortunately we will need a larger space do to kids being adults and need their own space. Otherwise we would probably return to UnWine again. Thanks for the great exppereince.

Clean and close to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a very quick walk to the beach, however, you cannot see the ocean from the house. The house was clean but the rooms were very small. This was fine with us because we didn't spend much time in there other than to sleep. The kitchen is on the top floor so you have to climb two levels if you are bringing groceries in from the bottom floor. The kitchen had 2 dishwashers which was great and a water filter in the fridge which was helpful. The house was stocked with the basics, but pay close attention to what it doesn't provide. There was no paper towels, toilet paper, soap. There is a small grocery store 3 miles away and a bigger one 6 miles away. The pool was small but well heated and the hot tub was above ground but awesome. It was less than a 5 min drive to the 4x4 section of the beach. Communication was the owner was wonderful. Net time we will stay at another property.

First time to OBX

Time To Unwine is a good little property. We choose it because our party of 11 was a mix of post college students and adults. Everybody was able to have a room for themselves. We truly appreciated the linens being included and having plenty of bathrooms. We loved having the onsite pool and hot tub. Due to the rainy weather it was well worth the added expense of heating the pool. In the backyard we were able to set up the owners corn hole set and our own for some fierce competition. Lots of HORSE and Around the World with our own BBall hoop too. And don't forget the foosball table in the lower rec room and the volley ball court just around the corner got use too. We loved that we were only a 5" walk to the beach and up at the more quiet private part where you could stroll for miles. Great space throughout the house and3 dining areas to make all those big home cooked meals work out. We also enjoyed the various decks with chairs to hang out for morning coffee, breakfast and evening cocktails. We only had a few minor maintenance issues. When we arrived the pool deck and pool itself was dirty but they put in a requisition and eventually came out to clean it. One of the 2 ice machines and dishwashers was not working properly and they were notified and responded promptly. We had lots of space for food and beverages (2 large fridges and 2 wine coolers). The kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. We ventured out a few days to KittyHawk Dunes and Historic Corolla, Duck Donuts, Adventure Golf, Neds Ice Cream and of course souvenirs at Superwings. So even though it rained 5/7 of our days and traffic to get to our house on the Saturday was horrific (now we understand why OBXopoly has "Traffic Jam" board space) - we enjoyed our time and will come again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had some issues w/ our stay at "Time to Unwine." To start off the week, we entered the house at 4pm, to find that the house had not yet been cleaned & we had paid extra for the linen package, & the beds had not been made yet or towels delivered. Shortly upon our arrival, the cleaning crew showed up, so as we were unpacking, we were in each other’s way. They were there for about 50 minutes. After the cleaning crew left, we realized they did not put sheets on one of the beds. As the rental listing described, a souvenir bag w/ starter items (paper towels, toilet paper, trash can liner, hand soap, dish soap, & dishwasher pod) was to be provided, but none of those items were. Thankfully, we had made a stop at Food Lion before going to the house, b/c there was not a single ply of toilet paper in the house. When we arrived, there was also sand in the pool & hot tub & they were never cleaned out. Some other issues we had were that the ceiling was leaking on the 1st floor by the bar, so we had to put a bucket under it, & we called Dustin (from Coast Realty, who was very responsive) to have someone come out to fix it. A repairman came out & was there for about 2 hours. Another issue we had was that one morning one of the smoke detectors went off & would not stop going off, waking up the half of the house that was still asleep. We couldn’t figure out what the issue was, so we had to call Dustin (again, very responsive) for someone to come out. We had a satisfactory stay. The location was good, w/ plenty of restaurants nearby. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but the common areas had ample room. Two of the bedrooms on the second floor didn’t stay as cool as the rest of the house. There was plenty of parking onsite & a lot of beach toys & equipment were available for use. We were a little disappointed w/ having the cleaning staff show up after we arrived, along w/ two repairmen having to come out during our stay, but we were happy w/ the responsivene

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful Home Not cleaned well upon arrival no midweek pool cleaning and it needed it...home had vacuum that was full of dirt making it not useful and the main air vent was coated in dust very unhappy about paying a cleaning fee not sure what I paid for I don't think they cleaned I think the previous renter left it that way and the crew came in and put sheets out. Very disappointing.

I can not say that about this year's stay. Our rental was not available to us until 7:30 pm (guaranteed by 6pm according to you) on Saturday 8/14. The wash machine was inoperable and was never fixed, half the light bulbs needed replaced, the safety gate to the pool was broken(there were 5 young children in our group)and the oven was in dire need of a cleaning. I don't plan on renting thru your company again.
