Crescent House - Tranquil Downtown Home

Upon entering the gated front courtyard you will enjoy the tranquil garden and pond with waterfall sounds to begin your relaxing vacation. This two story home is set in the peaceful, tree-lined Downtown Lodi neighborhood.
Crescent House is a large, contemporary two-story home perfect for gatherings both inside and out. Three bedrooms and two baths are situated on the ground floor, including the Primary Bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom. The other two ground floor bedrooms share the hallway bathroom. The second floor is a large private room with treetop, neighborhood views in all directions. This room has a dedicated work space, private full bathroom, and kitchenette. All beds are king sized with fine linens. Bath towels, hair dryers, and shampoo, conditioner, and soaps are provided in each of the three bathrooms.

The kitchen has luxury stainless steel appliances, including a 6-burner gas stove top, microwave/convection oven, wall oven, dishwasher, and a large French door refrigerator freezer with filtered water dispenser and icemaker. A breakfast nook is nestled in the kitchen to savor your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Four bar stools allow dining or chef coaching from the spacious kitchen island. A beautiful built-in wine bar has a mini fridge, wine and margarita glassware and serving ware to enjoy all of your Lodi wine tasting favorites. The adjacent antique dining table seats eight to ten guests. All cooking and serving ware you will need are provided for your use.

The backyard has a lush garden and paved patio for you to enjoy dining outside under the market lights. Use the gas BBQ grill, and the fire pit all times of the year. The front entry way pond provides a lovely waterfall sound during your stay.

The garage is available for guest use and two cars can fit in the driveway.

House was perfect. Very large and welcoming. All amenities were first class, from the linenes to the kitchen. Walking distance from downtown Lodi and 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Communications with the host were fantastic. She was very accommodating with some special requests. We stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding in Walnut Grove. It was a perfect distance away and no traffic on Hwy 5 to deal with. Highly recommend this house, all 4 bedrooms were large and perfectly set up.

This house was AMAZING! (to say the least); impeccable and attention to every detail. As lovely as the pictures are they don't do justice as to how beautiful this house is. The beds are so comfortable, the kitchen was awesome as was everything inside and out. It was a wonderful experience for us and a pleasure to stay at this fabulous home !!!!!

Repeat Perfect Stay

This is the 2nd time at this gorgeous home-- see my review from May 23, 2024. We love this home and plan to return again next year as it is so comfortably plush and modern. Kitchen is well equipped and perfect for cooking in after a day of wine tasting. Master bedroom, closet, and master shower are a dream! Piano is a special treat as well. Loved the neighborhood- quiet, beautiful landscaping, friendly cats, and walkable to both Zin Bistro and Bon Appetit-Lodi to get sandwiches for picnic lunches at the wineries. This large home is more than we need, but we can't resist it for the comfort and convenience.Host was always immediately available and very accommodating. Thank you!

Great House

This is a great house in a great location. We spent 4 nights attending a function at the Grape Festival which was an easy 1 mile drive away. The kitchen is fully equipped and very spacious. We love the shady backyard and the weather was perfect for just sitting outside under the trees. There are too many amenities to mention here. This is our second stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to come again. Marne is very responsive and easy to connect with. I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t be happy here.

Perfect Getaway

Great location, beautiful home, comfy beds, and atmosphere. Marne made it extra easy to communicate, accommodate some asks, and ease of booking. This house had it all, from the design layout, to the comfort of your own home. Did not disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend

Crescent House

This was a wonderful property! All the pictures accurately portrayed the home. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances and accessories. It was helpful to have access to the garage, especially for loading and unloading. The yard was so cozy with plenty of shade - it’s probably great during the warmer months. The beds were comfortable and sleeping was peaceful and quiet. It was a quick, easy trip to Sycamore Lanes where we were participating in a dog trial. Location was very convenient to Shopping and restaurants. Marne was wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for our family holiday celebration. Everyone had plenty of space with king sized beds for all, very comfortable couches to lounge on, and a big kitchen with lots of space for those who were cooking and those who were just hanging!We walked to downtown Lodi a few times - very close to grocery stores, wineries, and anything else you could need.And we loved the festive Christmas tree - thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Perfect for our family!

Crescent House is beautiful and was perfect for our stay. The large house gave everyone privacy yet felt cozy at the same time. It was nice gathering in the living room by the fire or watching a movie in the entertainment area. I look forward to going back during warmer weather so we can enjoy the lovely outdoor spaces more. Marne was quick to respond to all our questions and requests- thank you!

Girl’s Weekend!

The house was just simply perfect! Beds were so comfortable and lots of room for everyone to have their own space. We loved chatting long into the night in the cozy living room and spent several afternoons on the patio by the fire. Everyone kept saying, “Great job on the house!” The neighborhood was delightful also.

Wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for a long girls weekend. Lots of space and privacy for each of us, everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, and the entire house was exceptionally clean. Marne, was the perfect host. She was always available to answer any questions. Marne even took the time to create and itinerary for us. Amazing! Thank you!

Wedding weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crescent House. We thought the pictures on VRBO were beautiful, but in person it was even more outstanding. The house fit our needs perfectly my son's wedding at RedSmith Ranch in Lodi. The house was very comfortable, spacious, cozy seating outside, very clean, organized, and well stocked. It was beyond our expectations. Marne was phenomenal!! We would definitely recommend the Crescent House and would stay again. Thank You!

Best ever VRBO stay!

This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at. We were a group of 3 women with dogs, in town for our breed National Specialty. Marne's home was perfect for our 7 night stay. We had ample space which allowed each of us our quiet and privacy when desired, and spacious kitchen/ living/ dining areas for gathering together. The home itself is beautiful. Lovely furnishings and decor, super clean and organized, perfectly equipped kitchen. It's in a beautiful neighborhood and an easy walk to the performing arts center, downtown, and best of all, Ruby's Bakery! It would be perfect for 4 couples coming for a wine- tasting vacation. The backyard is small with no grass, but there is nice patio furniture for lounging and a table for outdoor dining in the lush courtyard. We would jump at the chance to stay here again if our travels take us back to Lodi.

25th Anniversary Trip

We just returned home from a lovely long weekend in Lodi spent with 3 other couples celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful and perfect for 4 couples. We enjoyed 2 local wineries on Saturday then on Sunday we went to the biannual street fair. The house is in an excellent location close to everything. It was well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for 8 people and we really enjoyed the outside yard area. We plan to make this an annual trip!

Marne is a long-time Lodi resident and happy to refer you to all of our local favorite things to do in town. The Owners, Paul and Jami purchased Crescent House to have a Downtown Lodi home to share with family and those looking for a great, home-town experience. Jami grew up in Lodi and often returns to her home on the family vineyard.

Neighborhood walks are a must in this friendly, historic downtown neighborhood. The tree lined streets are a favorite area of town. There are also two large parks within a few blocks of the house with picnic areas and play grounds. The Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Center around the corner is a great place to enjoy concerts, weddings, festivals and events. Many restaurants, wine-bars, breweries, and shops are within walking distance.
