The house was clean and inviting. Steve was very good and helpful. Especially with giving us directions to places we were interested in. I would highly recommend this place.

All that you could want

Mountain retreat between Saluda and Hendersonville was the perfect starting point for day trips in the surrounding area. Historic Hendersonville has plenty to see, eat and drink, while state parks and wineries offer great day trip adventure. The host/hostess were awesome. The place itself was everything as described. Clean, full of amenities, snacks, waters, coffee, grill, and TV with more viewing options than you could use. Highly recommended. We would do it again, and again.!

Great location, clean, owner made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

We enjoyed five days in Flat Rock. Relaxed, which was the main focus of our trip. The house was perfect, and just what we needed to relax and enjoy our time away.

Even better than expected!

Truly, everthing exceeded our expectations! The space is cozy, clean and incredibly welcoming. There are so many thoughtful touches to help guests feel at home. The beds were comfortable, and my mom and I both slept really well both nights. Communication was great from start to finish. Audra and Steve are wonderful hosts!

Great Getaway

The property was better than described. We absolutely loved our weekend getaway. The amenities and WiFi were perfect for our group of four. Steve was an exceptional host. His communication was excellent and he made certain the directions were clear. He also went beyond expectations by helping us with an issue we experienced while traveling as well as invited us to a bonfire on the property. Steve and the property are completely welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed our time so much that we intend to stay again next year. I highly recommend this property.

Relaxing get-away

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This was a quiet, comfortable respite after a day of festival going or hiking. All of the destinations we wanted to visit in the area were within a 20-30 minute drive. Definitely recommend.

Golfing in Hendersonville

The cabin was very comfortable and clean and only about 7 or 8 minutes from Hendersonville. It was a great place to come home after a day of golfing. The showers were terrific. Hendersonville is a charming area with a handful of outstanding restaurants. I would do it all again. Our host were very friendly and accommodating.

Great spot for weekend getaway

Great experience! This was a great location for a weekend girls’ getaway to enjoy the western NC mountain area. Steve was a wonderful host and his place is clean, cozy and in a convenient location.

Fantastic Digs!

An outstanding VRBO property! The accommodations were fantastic in very way; from the beautifully done interior to the bedding and cleanliness. Great TV with channels to satisfy all. Super atmosphere to sit and enjoy the nice coffee and snack selections. The proprietor, Steve, was great to work with. Very accommodating with questions we had. You could immediately see that he was interested in making our stay the best. Fantastic digs and proprietor. I highly recommend both

Nice Stay

We visited for the apple festival in Hendersonville. The place is a 2 bedroom basement apartment and was as described on the site. It was clean and well stocked and the owners were quick to reply to any questions. They were friendly and had many suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend to friends.

Tranquility, true to its name, provided a quiet, restful getaway with a cozy cabin feel and a woodsy view. The apartment was very clean and the kitchenette included cooking appliances needed if eating in otherwise eateries were nearby. Master bedroom was large with sitting area, fan and comfy queen bed. Master bath was a little small but adequate. Outside sitting area was provided although could use a little sprucing up. Overall experience was excellent and the host’s communications were very timely and helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

Little home away from home

It was a great experience to stay in this place The owners were always,very helpful with any questions we had for places to visit or good restaurants. This is a great place for a small family to relax away from home definitely we recommend this place.

Rooms are large and very clean. Had everything we needed for a good Basecamp for our weekend of hiking around in Pisgah National Forest.

Great Mountain Getaway

Property was in a great location, close to many places to eat and lots of activities. Checkin was super easy and loved all the little touches like water bottles, coffee, snacks and toiletries. Our son enjoyed all the Halloween decorations in the unit as well. We would definitely stay here again!
